Chapter 18: Chapter 16: Teren Empire and…

  Time passed… and Vincent was already 2 years old. 

  Nothing big or unexpected happened in the meantime.

  Vincent long ago began to walk and speak. He finally doesn't need any diapers either. 

  His absorbing sessions never stopped. 

  He can cover his entire right arm with ordinary fire, but it doesn't have a practical use. When he managed to cover his entire body, he will stop absorbing ordinary temperature. He will need to search for a stronger one.

  But it's not the same for light particles, they are already as dense as possible at the current level of the surface. If needed, the only way would be at the peak of mountains where light particles from the star are not blocked by other elements or clouds in the atmosphere. Right now, Vincent can already heal light superficial wounds like bruisers, just perfect for Anna's situation. She too finds it somewhat weird that one day her body is full of bruises, and another there are almost none. 

  Mark even began to do 'it' in her room sometimes when he thought Vincent and Annie were sleeping.

He should be around the late stages of 2nd rank or early stages of 3rd rank, but it's a guess. If Mark is really at 3rd rank, then without a basic mastery of darkness element for concealment, killing Mark would be quite hard in here. He doesn't know what will happen when he is taken away, so he doesn't want to gamble.

  '3 years should be enough for gathering darkness particles at night or in the very dark places where their concentration is the densest. I also need to think about gathering wind particles… I have some knowledge on how to absorb element particles, but… I don't know how to transform them into something special, like spells. I need a teacher, but I doubt anyone will help me, especially with Mark around. He will not allow it. I can't expose myself to him. I will die if I do so. It's too early and I'm not ready yet. 

  "Mother... I read that this world has people called cultivators and mages. How strong are they? Who is the strongest?" Vincent innocently asked Anna who was cooking in the kitchen.

  "You really are a curious child. About your question… I don't know about other places, but here in the Teren Empire, Mark Teren is one of the strongest. He should be at 3rd rank I guess." Anna's words became somewhat cold when that name popped out.

  'So in the 3rd rank, huh… He never will expect an assassination from his own 5 years old son. So one swift sharp attack, and if I can conceal my presence in shadow by using darkness particles and arrive in the imperial palace at night…

Those guards are mostly mortals or at 1st rank, I already can kill those… will see.'  Vincent is seated at the table with Anna and Annie as they eat. 

  'My body too growing faster than I've expected. I'm only 2 years old, but already looking 5.' Vincent cannot help but be amazed by that 'God's' gift.

  Vincent stopped candle fire absorption and began to try darkness. 

  If others were told that Vincent could train like this, they would claim it as a stupid joke or just titled that man as an insane one to believe in suck a thing. 

  At night-time, he will find the darkest corner in the room and sit down. 'Looks like the darkness is even harder to train, so far not a single darkness particle has been sensed, but I have time.

  Now Vincent is already 4 years old and can finally move out of the house for some time. 

  Annie is 7 years old now and she has already started to visit a magic school that was lucky near their house. 

  "Vincent, I will go to send Annie to school. Soon I will go back, don't go anywhere, okay?" Anna looked at Vincent who was quietly reading a book on the bed.

  

  Vincent grew more and more, his hair was of snow-white colour. His pupils were red, it somewhat charmed people if they would look at them for long. 

  At this time, Vincent already can use water particles for defence. If dodging from attack will be impossible, he will use water particles before he will receive damage. It would look like someone hit a gell. 

  He also finally began to feel and absorb darkness particles. He can't use them to conceal his presence, but he can already cover his face with them. It looked like a dark oval mask without a nose and mouth, only with two holes for eyes.

  'I can finally try to fight some weak beasts in a nearby forest. I didn't have a proper fight for so long...' Vincent looked at himself in the mirror and he somewhat liked how he looked with this mask created of darkness on him. But he can't yet cover his white hair with an element of darkness. 

  He read some geographical books that he asked Anna to buy for him. 

  Teren's Empire size is around one of the United Kingdom of Great Britain from Earth. It is located at the edge of Great East Forest, close to a huge mountain range that leads towards the South Ice Plane. It might sound like they are close, but in reality, there are a few million kilometres between Teren Empire and Ice Plain in the south.

  The Teren Empire existed for around 200 years. At that time the Teren family were just nobles. They take the ruling when the previous royal family was in their weakest state after the son of the Emperor tried to use forceful way with a young girl he finds liking too, but that girl was not a common one. She was a princess of the nearby Torn Empire. She always sneaked out to adventure to nearby kingdoms or empires. Gladly, her father sent a few strong guardians to protect her from the shadows. 

  The emperor's son was spared by them, but when her father receive a report from the guardians he send, he was in a rage. His daughter suffered mental problems for time being and with help of the support of her family, she managed to somewhat overcome it. That incident led to hostility towards the Kerth Empire which the prince tried to rape the princess of Torn Empire and almost succeeded. 

  The Teren family in secret contacted the imperial Torn family, and with their support as well as the help of other noble families, the Teren family managed to overthrow the imperial Kerth family. 

  Other noble families were not as strong as the Teren family, but they were promised a lot of wealth, so they took Teren's family side instead of Kerth.

  Every male member of the Kerth family was killed without exceptions, but every female member became a slave. Some became sex slaves of the new imperial family, some were given to other noble families, or were sold. 

  The previous Empress was taken by the new Emperor as an everyday whore. After a month of constant rape, her mental state broke, and she became addicted to the pleasure of sex. She began to spread her legs by her own volition. Her daughters, other concubines and their daughters ended the same way, but in the hands of other nobles. 

  Proud and arrogant women of the Kerth imperial family became outlets for the lust of others in a short amount of time. 

  Mark Teren was the son of the previous Emperor that overthrew the Kerth family at that time and grabbed the ruling of the empire for the Teren family. Of course, he take some of his father's 'hobbies' too after he was crowned. 

  From that point in time, Teren and Torn empires became much closer. New deals, marriage agreements and so on.

  Vincent read all of this and somewhat understood the situation of this Teren Empire. 

  He didn't notice that half an hour had already passed, so Anna should already be back, but she is not. 

  Vincent became worried and didn't wait for her. He dressed up in black and stepped out of the house. Even though he was only 4 years old, he looked like 8-9 years old already. This growth spurt will end at age of 14 from the 'God's' seal that he placed on his hand. 

  He closed the door behind him and went towards the local magic school nearby.

  When he neared the centre region that was solely for commoners. 

  As he stroked on the streets, he began to hear some noises from a nearby back alley. When he looked inside the alley, he saw three adults around 20-30 years old half-naked. One younger one holded a gorgeous woman around her thirties as she screamed for help but her mouth was closed. The other two older men were already half-naked and were about to 'take care of her. 

  "I always waited for this moment, you know. Each time I see you buying food or sending your 'sweet' little daughter, my little guy down below became restless and I need to visit the brothel each time, but now… hehe. But luck is on my side today, you accidentally walked to the right place and at the right time. Or maybe… you wanted it so much that you came here knowing what is waiting for you and you're just playing this role game stuff with us to increase your excitement?" said the man from the left as he drooled while looking at her big twin-peaks that were already exposed.

  "Younger brother, hold her tight, when we finish, we will allow you to taste her too." said the man from the right side. The alley was quite small and long, so people didn't notice, and even if they noticed, so what? Such stuff is going on almost every day in those alleys.

  When the younger one locked Anna in his arms, he accidentally noticed someone walking towards them from the street, and the person looked like a… 8 years old child. 

  "Brothers, who is that? Have you invited someone and did not tell me?" the younger one said curiously to his 'brothers'.

  Those two swiftly looked at the person that was slowly walking to them without a word.

  "Have you invited someone?" the thug asked the second one beside him. 

  "Of course not. The hell would I do that?" the second thug answered hastily. 

  "Kid, what are you doing here? Are you lost? I suggest you turn around and leave while you still can." the first brother coldly said to Vincent.

  "..." there was no answer.

  "Sigh.. the kids these days really love to play heroes, huh. The world doesn't work like that, child." the first one signed and moved towards Vincent.

  "Kill him faster and let's continue, I can't wait anymore." the second brother said as he was at the limit to the first one as he turned to a struggling Anna who also noticed the newcomer.
