It would have been nice if they answered accordingly.  Cold blue eyes stare at the pile of corpses scattered on the porcelain floor with no remorse.  A sigh formed a misty cloud,  and a groan resounded from the silence.  Gloved hands come in contact with the blood-dripping sword's tip.    "One survived."    A cold voice that shook even the surroundings; was heard.  As soon as the emotionless voice finished,  another groan sounded out.

One horizontal swing abruptly cut off the groaning,  and silence once more filled the room.  Another sigh;  another misty cloud formed.  Cold blue eyes scanned the perimeter and observed.  The checkered wall was painted red, and half of the furniture;  was broken into pieces.  The once elegant room turned into a now ransacked room like a burglar came in and destroyed it;  to find something.

A silhouette moved around the moonlit room and scurried around a desk.  Gloved hands opened each drawer and found a hidden contraption on the second part.    "Hmm."    Gloved hands took hold of a rolled paper and an envelope.  The gloved hands tore the envelope open and read its content.  Not long,  a smirk made its way into the owner of the gloved hand's face.    "What a sly bastard.  Did you think this is enough to hide your trail?"    The silhouette muttered and crumpled the envelope in their hand.    "Well,  let me tell you,  I hope you're ready for a carnage tonight.  Sir Albham."    With the words of warning left,  the silhouette disappeared as the moon shone on its target.

"Maya!  Can I at least get a single shot in?"    A cheerful voice said,  followed by a grunt.    "No,  I told you that this mission is important,  so I- we can't have you messing things up!"    Maya replied while avoiding collision with a running kid.  Currently,  they were in a middle of a festive crowd.  Noises came from every direction, yet both conversed as if it did not bother them.    "B-b-but-"    Maya looked at the stuttering girl in front of her and sighed while holding her forehead;  she could already tell that a headache would come soon.    "First of all,  you're not even dressed appropriately for the mission, and second,  I know that look.  The face you're having is someone who only wants to play,  so no."

The shorter girl pouted at Maya's words.  She had no way to refute it since what Maya said was all true anyway.  But still!  Ever since Elara came back,  the HM hasn't given her her missions to do.  So none can blame her,  especially if no explanation could lead to such an event.    "That's why..."    Maya looks helplessly at the girl.  She felt conflicted about what she was about to do;   In one gun,  the HM might punish her for such action.  But on the other hand,  Elara might be able to step in and elevate the punishment even for a little bit.  But this will only 100% succeed if each party coordinates accordingly.

So with a prayer to her Senior above and a mocking sigh,  Maya decided to accommodate the girl in her ideas.    "Alright,  but my orders you must follow.  Got it?"    The girl nodded eagerly with a brightened expression, but Maya stopped her.    "Words,  Zera.  I need words."    "YES, MA'AM!"    Maya nodded in satisfaction and turned to walk again.  With a sigh as she goes.  Hopefully, nothing goes wrong,  lest she'll get an earful from the HM.

"Why can't we just barge in again?"    Zera asked for,  probably, the twentieth time.  AnannoyingMaya, who in turn shook her head,  trying to get rid of the unnecessary thoughts.    "Need I remind you of the rules before coming here?"    Zera vehemently shook her head at that question.    "Good,  now shut up and follow the plan."    "There's a plan?"    Maya and Zera looked at each other blankly at that.  The staring lasted a good amount of seconds before Maya released a frustrated sigh.  She's now greatly regretting the decision to let Zera come with her.

"Yes,  there's a plan,"    Maya says through gritted teeth.  Oh,  how she would love to open the girl's head and repeat the exact words but this time directly to the brain,  so she'll remember it.  But alas,  Maya's too polite to do that.  Meanwhile,  Zera decisively stayed silent as she realized what would happen if she continued to talk.

Afterward,  the two headed to their respective position,  Maya near the left window.  The house wasn't big,  and it only had three windows;  upper left and right,  then a window next to the front door.  In the left upper window,  there was a tree,  almost big enough to block the entire view,  yet enough to have a branch,  also nearly connected to the window.  While Maya got ready to infiltrate,  Zera also got in position,  which was nowhere near the house.  Only about 50 blocks as she held a sniper rifle.

'On standby.  Waiting for orders.'    Maya heard through her intercom and replied,    'Stay in position,  wait until I give the signal.'    'Roger that.'    Maya nodded in satisfaction at the immediate response of Zera,  then took a deep breath.  With slow but precise movement,  Maya opened the window without making a noise.  And once she entered,  what she saw made her blood run cold.  Just then, she heard Zera through the intercom.    'Zera!'    Maya cursed when the line got cut off and forgot about the next supposed move before madly dashed towards Zera's position.

On her way,  Maya cursed her incompetence for making such a mistake.  She paled when she realized that if Zera were to be badly injured,  then, under those circumstances,  she'd most likely face the wrath of her senior.  An event one does not wish to experience.  But it seems that someone above granted her desperate wish as when she reached the spot,  Zera stood there blankly without injuries,  which was a great relief for Maya.

"Zera!  Are you alright?  What happened?"    Maya bombarded the questions but noticing that Zera looked a little daze,  she stopped speaking and violently shook Zera by the shoulder.    "Ze~ra!"    When Zera blinked,  she looked at Maya and asked confusedly,    "What-  why are you here?"    Hearing her question made Maya sigh.    "You were spacing out.  I came to you because the comm went down and detected unusual energy.  Thankfully you're not hurt."    "What?"    Zera asked dumbly and watched as Maya dragged her by the forearms.    "We're leaving,"    Maya stated after seeing Zera's confusion.

"W-wait!  What about the mission?"    Maya shook her head as she took out a device and let it fall to the ground.    "It's a mission failed,  or rather unavailable."    Zera widened her eyes as the device shone a yellow color,  and the two of them disappeared.  Leaving nothing behind.

Cold blue eyes scanned the area with vigilance.    "Man,  this is a mess.  What do you think happened here,  Elara?"    Elara hummed and turned to her partner,    "Has the area been vacant?"    Her partner,  Yulia,  nodded.    "If I had to guess,"    Elara made her way to the center of the chaos and pointed in a direction.    "Infiltration."    Yulia clicked her tongue at that before sighing.    "One step ahead of us,  huh."    Elara nodded and motioned for Yulia to follow.

"Ah!  Elara and Yulia,  finished everything inside?"    Yulia nodded,  followed by an enthusiastic yes,  while Elara's blue eyes looked at the woman silently.   The woman was in her twenties and wore a business suit.  Her violet hair was tied in a bun style,  overall;  She was a beauty with professional charm.  But that wasn't what made Elara stare intently.  Instead,  it was the aura surrounding her.     Elara raised an eyebrow and inquired,    "Underworld?"    The woman halted her movements and chuckled nervously,    "Yes."    Elara hummed at her answer,  nodded, and left without looking back.

The woman blinked and looked at Yulia,  who only shrugged and showed an apologetic smile before following after Elara.  The woman sighed and went back to work,  she had a suspicion,  but without enough evidence,  it was practically just a guess.

{Hello?  Elara?}    Elara hummed and heard a feminine chuckle from the phone.    {I suppose your job is over if you're calling me.}    Elara leaned to a pole and hummed.   As not mentioned previously,  this was how Elara answered the call,  just humming.  The person on the other side knew of that and was not offended.  Elara watched from her peripheral view as Yulia made calls,  possibly to the HM,  while listening to the phone.    {Anyways,  tell Yulia I said hi to her,  okay?}    When Elara hummed again,  the voice continued.    {Don't worry about waiting for too long.  I'll be back before you know it!  So hang in there,  alright?  I Love You.}

Elara sighed as the phone call off and gazed at the blue sky while thinking.  However,  her musing was interrupted as Yulia approached her.  Elara raised her eyebrows when she saw Yulia holding what looked to be a document and inquired silently using her eyes after Yulia handed it to her.    "Read it,"    Yulia says in a grave tone,  motioning to the paper.  Elara opened the packaging,  took out the document, and read its content,  blinking at the end.    "This is..."    Yulia grinned,    "Hahahaha!  It seems that the heavens finally answered my call!"    and said as if her previous grave tone was merely a hallucination.

Elara sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose,  as Yulia started laughing hysterically.  Ignoring the look everyone gave them at the same time.
