"Oh, that was close" it gradually started coming back to him as he sat on the floor of a unknown location while feeling the wind blowing all around his face, causing him to be chilly.
"But, wait…" he instinctively felt like a lot was different about him now, but the feeling of impressions coming to him seemed to have faded, at least he remembered who he was now, but he felt like a different person now.
He instinctively checked the watch on his wrist and was relieved to see it still there. But in the next moment he noticed the watch undergoing some changes, not the gem embedded, but the digital part of it beside of the gem changed slowly.
First of all, it was showing May 13th before all of a sudden changing to an unfamiliar language that Eze found he could read with little stress. It was bizarre, the day he had.
Wait. Dayyyyyy?
At that moment his forehead twitched. The day he was controlled was May 6th!
It was currently right now May 13th!
At that moment he seemed to realize a horrible fact: for a whole week he was under someone else's control, and he had no memories of it.
He stood up and inspected himself closely. He didn't appear to be any different from usual…
Okay, so he added a little weight and grew about three inches and his hair was a little longer than it was before. 'Was that seriously all' he wondered expectantly.
He was hoping for too much it seemed.
Come to think of it, where was he…
He suddenly realized that his surroundings were unfamiliar to say the least.
He appeared to be in a residential area in a high end city and it was currently night. The areas had houses arranged like the Hollywood movies he'd happened to watch, but were different in aesthetics. The first thought he had was that he might have been teleported to a first world country in Europe in his dash to escape.
He was officially a foreigner now, wherever he was now.
As he was in his thoughts he turned around to observe around when he was met with two 'foreigners' of his own observing him strangely from the lounge chairs that they were sitting on; a man and a little boy of about twelve who had an indifferent expression.
It appeared that they had been watching him since he appeared into their yard and had began behaving like a mad person. Were they taking him for a movie?
The three of them stared at each other for a while before the man spoke out, ending the awkward silence between them.
"Friend, would you like to come over and join us for a discussion."
Eze didn't have any reason to refuse. He began to walk closer, closing the distance between them.
As he walked, he began to observe the people closer, the appeared to be, slightly different from the humans he had seen. Their skin had a slightly pinkish hue, and their facial features appeared to belong to a different set of aesthetics from the people he had seen in movies, where did he teleport to?
It didn't take Eze up to a minute to get there from the edge of the fence of the yard, the house was behind them.
"Take a seat. Yes so…WHO are you? How did you get here? Who sent you..."
At that moment Eze was speechless. That was because the man was speaking in a language he was not familiar with!"

"-Where did you come from-" "OK, and you're researcher blood has begun to flare up again old man. Let him answer first before rattling off again" the boy said softly
It was now Eze noticed that what he originally thought was a white shirt was actually a white labcoat on the man. What type of research was he into?
"Whatever do you mean?" he tilted his head as if he couldn't understand what the boy was saying.
He then turned to face Eze again "Then, start with the first one"
The first one? Eze tried to recollect which question was the first one, it should have been 'who he was'
His thoughts then froze.
How could he explain that he had teleported over to this place without tipping any crazy alerts off, he could only pretend THEY were the crazy ones!
"I'm an immigrant, you see, I don't have any travel papers, but I can do basic work like cleaning, washing and heavy lifting for minimum wage only. I came here to offer my services to you and your lovely family, for a reasonable price" he spoke the words as tensely, while maintaining a plastic smile and lying through his teeth
'Actually, this might not be a bad arrangement, I have no contacts here and no money, it would be very difficult to survive past a day with my level of experience. Nothing in a book covers how to survive on the streets'
Hearing the explanation, the man seemed to have been enlightened, he and the boy looked like they each understood different things.
"So you're an immigrant, that's why…" he said to himself and chuckled.
Did you know that all immigrants, upon landing from the standardized ports are to be tagged, and given identification before starting their new life in the mines, or given a low-tier lvl1 job in the Industrial sectors of the Federation of Light, we all saw you teleport here so it's best you tell the truth before we pry it out of you. Where did you come from, kid?" His eyes that were gentle and calm before turned cold, but the calmness still remained.
'So I got figured out because immigrants are labeled here? What a tidy government, they went through so much trouble?' as a part time keyboard warrior who read books partly for knowledge, Eze knew that labeling immigrants…was not as easy a task to pull off as one thought.
But when did he have experience with border control? Was what he thought before quickly picking up on another angle
"Federation of light…never heard of it." Eze asked in thought
Upon hearing that, the two of them seemed to be confused. The man asked again, "Where do you come from, The Obsidian Empire or one of the regions belonging to their vassals?"
'Okay, this was beginning to get weird.' He began to think that he might not be on earth anymore. And these two… the more he looks, the more sure he was that their skin wasn't that way due to a 'slightly' different evolution. They were aliens, but…why did the thought not scare him in any significant way, he seemed almost… numb to it, as if this should be the most normal thing that happened to him in a while
'How strange…' as Eze was trying to process the thoughts in his mind, he spontaneously looked away from the house's owners, up at the night sky
Above, was the familiar mercury-colored moon, shining brightly with meaningless constellations bunched together way above the bright yellow clouds overlooking the earth.
That's right.
Bright yellow clouds.
Without saying anything Eze was frozen in that position while shock was showing on his face
The shock on his face caused the two people In front of him to instinctively look up, only to be confused in the end because there was nothing there.
'Was he retarded?' they both had this thought
