Sometime later, Ozul and the old couple arrived back at the hotel. The dead body of Drom had already 'mysteriously' disappeared from the lounge.
Since it was midnight and there weren't many people around this area, no one had come here when they were gone.
*Yawn...*
"Well, you already know what to do. I'm sleepy now."- After saying his part, Ozul walked away, leaving the old couple staring at his back.
Sleep was something that Ozul would never get bored with. He just woke up a couple of hours ago and now he was going to sleep again.
Irvin and Haley did not stop him, as they also wanted to test all of their previous abilities. Their gazes only held endless gratitude when looking at his back.
As Ozul got back to the room, he instantly noticed the rough breathing from both Raven and Blaze.
Though they had cleaned up the scene after Ozul had left, both of them were still awake. It wasn't because they were worried or anything.
It was just that Blaze looked up to Ozul as his role model and wanted to follow him everywhere. And Raven did not need any reason to be together with him all the time.
While Ozul did notice that the duo was wide awake, he gave priority to his sleep and slumped down on the bed.
. . .
The next morning when Ozul woke up, it was already time to leave for the Mercenary Guild.
However, before he could even sit straight, the door to the room opened, and Haley came in with food.
At the moment, Raven was training in the corner while Blaze was testing the functions of his Spatial Ring. Only now did he have some time to arrange everything in it.
Raven instantly opened her eyes, and Blaze also stood up from the bed. Both of them were not expecting anyone to come into their room, so they were on high alert.
They only calmed down after Ozul waved his hand to assure them that it was nothing.
Both of them kept looking around dumbfoundedly when Haley put the food on the table for everyone. Well, she set most of it in front of Ozul.
"I don't eat..."- Ozul said after standing up from the bed.
Haley was confused as to why he did not eat, but she wouldn't waste any food, so she put his portion in front of Blaze and Raven.
Raven did not want to eat the food since she wasn't sure why Haley had prepared food for them. But Blaze did not care and began to eat right away since Ozul had not stopped them, it meant that nothing was wrong with it.
"Why did you prepare the food?"- Raven asked while glaring hatefully at Blaze for not being 'extra careful'.
"Oh, Since Young Master has done so much for us, it is only natural that we do our best to repay."- Haley replied while giving a motherly smile.
The motherly smile that would warm the hearts of many with the addition of the food's aroma that had spread in the room caused Raven to rethink her decision.
"Eat well. I made it all myself. Young people need energy for their growing bodies."- Haley added before leaving the room.
As they ate, both Blaze and Raven instantly realized the difference between this food and the ones that they had eaten before.
"Why did she personally make the food?"- Raven muttered to herself after they had finished everything.
"Maybe Master Ozul helped the old couple yesterday night?"- Blaze replied when he heard her mutterings.
"... You think I didn't realize that?"
Blaze instantly shut up and looked the other way when Raven asked this while glaring at him. She knew this much since Haley herself had clarified it.
"What I want to know is, what did they do?"
"Don't worry. Young Master said that it's ok, so it's ok..."- Again, he immediately paused his sentence when Raven looked at his way.
Blaze did not want to get on her bad side since she would take her revenge whenever he trained with her.
After finishing the food, both of them left the room after Raven had arranged everything that they would be needing.
When they came down the stairs, Ozul sat on the chair while Irvin respectfully stood behind him with a straight posture. Haley was attending to the customers.
"You know what to do... And take care of that Marquis who was supporting Bafon."
As Raven and Blaze came down the stairs, they heard Ozul instructing to seemingly no one. But they could tell from the way that Irvin was listening that he was talking to him.
As Raven came closer, Ozul gestured towards Irvin and said to him;
"If you need funds, take this card to Marquis... something."-
Raven got the hint and took out the card that Count Oliver had given Ozul before he departed. Ozul also forgot the name since he wouldn't usually bother remembering people's names.
Fortunately for Irvin, the card contained the name of Marquis Orbthorn on it.
The organization would need better support than that of a Marquis since the head of the organization, Irvin himself, was stronger than that Marquis.
There was no way that the movements of a Rank-8 Mage would be left unnoticed by the higher-ups of the Kingdom.
So Irvin would need the support of the whole faction that Count Oliver belonged to. But to obtain their support, talking to them wasn't enough, so Ozul said;
"Just tell them that you work under *Sigh*... that you work under 'The Feral'."
Ozul sighed in the middle of the sentence since he himself did not like being called The Feral, but it was necessary for this situation.
Irvin did not understand why telling them about working under 'The Feral' would be more effective than showcasing his powers, but he did not ask any questions.
"How long will you be gone for?"- Irvin asked when he saw Ozul sitting up from the chair.
"I don't know, and it doesn't matter."- Ozul replied.
The meaning was clear that it shouldn't matter for long Ozul will be gone; the only thing Irvin had to focus on was the organization.
Even if it takes years, Irvin should be focusing on building the organization to hunt for information and make connections.
After saying that, Ozul left the hotel, followed by Raven and Blaze, who were both confused.
They walked towards the Mercenary Guild's building. At that time, Raven mustered up her voice and asked;
"What happened last night? And why were you helping him?"
"Nothing much happened. I just 'helped' them a little, and now he works under me."
"Oh..."- Raven had to take some time to process it when suddenly;
"Wait! He is a Mage or a Fighter too?"
Raven and even Blaze didn't imagine that the old man was actually not an ordinary human.
"Hm? Oh yeah, he is both Mage and a Fighter. His wife, Haley too."- Ozul said when he noticed the surprised look on Blaze and Raven's faces.
"That old lady too!?"- Again, it was a massive hit to both Raven and Blaze since they had really trained hard in sensing the Mana.
Only when Ozul saw that both of them were again fighting with their 'All we ever did was useless' moment, he decided to tell them;
"Well, you didn't notice since not only are they of a higher rank than you, but they were also professionals."
Ozul's encouragement had an effect, and they didn't seem as down as they did before. But they were still curious as to how powerful the old couple was.
"So, how powerful is that old man and that old lady?"- Blaze asked.
"Oh, not so much. The old man is Rank-8 Mage while the old lady is Rank-7."- Ozul said like it was nothing.
However, the shock that Blaze and Raven received was not so casual. How could they not be shocked when the old man that they looked down on was a Rank-8 Mage!
"It's your fault if you look down on ordinary people..."- Ozul said when he noticed their shock.
Though he also wouldn't care about anyone weaker than him unless he or she has a unique talent, Ozul wanted Raven and Blaze to understand that being too complacent was not a good thing.
This time Raven and Blaze did not ask anything else and kept their quiet for the rest of the way.
However, many thoughts ran through their minds. Only now did Blaze realize why he had been feeling a little odd when looking at Haley and Irving.
When he thought back to it, both of them had a better posture than before! Their backs were straight, and they even had fewer wrinkles on the faces.
He just didn't understand why the improvement occurred overnight since he didn't know that the old couple had their powers sealed before due to the poison.
