The roaring pain echoed through the whole room, until Maia needed to turn off the microphone, so the sound wouldn't ring in their ear- drum.
"What the hell is that?!" Damon, the man, who was with Maia, cursed loudly when, he watched in shocking eyes when he witnessed the transformation of the boy behind the glass room.
Both of them were the scientist in this lab, where they did all the experiment on the supernatural creatures.
"I think we get to witness his first shift," Maia said, she pushed the red button in the control room and called a few people to come. They needed to check on this. "It happened faster than we thought."
"Yes, but Mr. Williams had predicted it."
"Call him and tell him what is happening, ask him to come right away," Maia ordered him.
"On it."
When Damon was on the phone, there were around four people came into the room, followed by another two.
And all of them witnessed the first transformation of a lycan. The rarest kind of the non human being, the shifter.
He was the abomination for the shifter, even for the supernatural creature, he was a monster, since he was way stronger than any of them.
The only reason why they kept him alive, instead of killing him because he was very strong, was because they were confidence, they could tame him and use him as a weapon against those supernatural creatures.
Against the Chaos.
Even until now, no one ever heard about the creature named Chaos that Archie Williams always talked about. He was a myth, even for them, who believed there was such creature that could create such chaos and disaster like eight years ago.

Mateo tumbled on his feet when he approached Blue in her room, he heard about what happened to her yesterday and this morning she was released from her 'cage'.
Fuck Emmet for what he had done to her!
"How are you feeling?" Mateo entered Blue's room after she gave the permission with her hoarse voice.
Mateo was Alpha Anthony's beta. He survived that night when they killed their alpha, but Alpha Xerxes crippled his left foot.
"I am fine," Blue said curtly. She was sitting on the edge of her bed in this small room. "You don't need to come."
No matter how many time Blue told him to not come and see her, but Mateo always ignored that. He had been looking after her, since the death of her uncle, though there was nothing much that he could do to make their situation better.
Mateo sighed, he put a glass of warm milk that he got from kitchen, he could only get this because all the people, who worked on the kitchen was the omega, it meant, they were the former member of the Silver River pack.
"Thank you," Blue mumbled. She tried to numb her feeling and acted nonchalant, but it failed her, since she knew in her heart that was not her to act that way.
"Do you need anything?" Mateo asked again when the silence hung in the air, he walked toward the only chair there and sat down, massaging his left leg.
"I need gasoline," Blue said, stretching her hand to get her milk, the warm from the glass consoled her fatigue a little bit.
"I will burn down this pack," Blue mumbled, drinking her milk. She felt she just escaped the death for the second time.
But then, she shook her head internally when she remembered the first one, since it would lead her mind disarray to him again.
Blue had been trying to brush off all her concern regarding Chaos and McKeltar family, but the fact that the family had disappeared completely still bothered her until now.
What happened to them? It was impossible for The Hound to get a hold of Knox and Gael, right? What happened to Anne?
Yet, the more she thought about it, the more miserable she was, therefore the only easy way for her to deal with it was to ignore it.
"I will love to do it too," Mateo chuckled when he heard that. "That's a good way to take revenge. I will like to see how Xerxes is being burned alive."
This was the joke between the two of them and the only common topic that they could talk for hours, but Blue didn't have the energy to talk about it, she was very tired and barely could finish her milk when her lids dropped.
"Sleep, Zuri, I will get some food for you. You have to eat it when you are awake."
Blue didn't realize it when Mateo approached her, but he took the empty glass from her hand. He then helped her to lay down and tucked her inside the blanket.
But, before Blue closed her eyes, she told him one thing. "I wish we don't come here."
"So do I."
At the beginning, this was the only way out from them to survive from the attack of human and the other supernatural creatures, which constantly trespassed their territory.
Alpha Xerxes didn't agree with the idea of blending their pack, until he heard about Blue…
However, their idea to survive was a plight.

Lise got off of the car when they had arrived at the Fokosa city. This place brought so much memory for her.
She left this city since she got birt to River and Gael left her with a wealth that she could use to run for the rest of her life. That was such an irony…
"We are here, we need to go inside," Lise said, waking up Anne and took River. They woud stay in the hotel until she found a place for them to stay.
Anne woke up and rubbed her sleepy eyes. She looked exhausted. All of this running drained her energy, after all, she was seventy three years old woman.
