Chapter 125: Chapter 124: Change

[Friday, August 16th]

I woke up shortly after 6:00 with Miyuki and Chinatsu sprawled across me as usual. Gently rolling both of them off of me, I sit up, yawn and stretch. Carefully getting up, I think about what has to be done today.

Overall, there isn’t much that we really have to do. I need to set appointments with Airi for myself and Miyuki and talk to Dad about replacing our backup team with Igor’s and Jason’s teams. I know we already have them, but we get along with Jason’s and Igor’s teams so much better, well, other than the tacturn two as I call them, Kaz and Aki. Of course, we spend a lot more time with them than we do with the others. Kaz and Aki don’t really bother us per sey, but after Okinawa, Chinatsu and I talked about it and we’d much rather replace them with the four new girls: Miku, Sachi, Noa, and Ume. We had a lot of fun with the ladies on our security teams and they can go into places with us the guys can’t or won’t. I don’t believe that Dad will tell me no when I ask. If anything, he’ll probably just nod as say whatever you want. Doting Dad, remember?

Regardless, it seems like today will be a fairly relaxing day for everyone. After I perform some of the stretching exercises that Emi taught me, I wake up Miyuki and Chinatsu, so we can bathe and make breakfast.

Miyuki wakes up with some mild cramps and after a quick question from me, she tells me that her period should be starting soon. After picking out some casual clothes, Chinatsu heads down to fill the tub while I pick out something for myself and Miyuki does the same. That done, she heads down as I wake my sisters.

After we shower and soak, we dry off and dress, then Sofi and I head into the kitchen to make breakfast while Chinatsu and Miyuki set the table and Honoka makes the coffee.

As we are finishing up, Mama, Dad and Chiaki come into the dining room and everyone exchanges ‘Good mornings.’ Once we set the serving platters on the table, we take our seats and everyone serves themselves.

A little later, I look at Dad and ask, “Dad, can we replace our ready backup teams with Jason’s and Igor’s?”

He swallows and replies, “Sure, sweetheart, but can I ask why?”

I shrug. “It’s no big deal, but we know them and get along really well. We would like to keep Miku, Sachi, Noa and Ume and send Aki and Kaz back to the pool. It isn’t that we don’t like them, but they are kind of standoffish.”

He nods. “Okay, I’ll make the changes today then.”

Smiling, I reply, “Thank you, Daddy.”

After we finish eating and clean up, we clean the house and catch up on the laundry. Then I call Airi’s office and set appointments for myself and Miyuki for Monday. Thankfully, Airi’s assistant is able to schedule our appointments together, at 9:00 and 10:00, so we won’t have to go back.

After lunch, Honoka takes me out back to training me again. Surprisingly, Miyuki asks to join us, which Honoka agrees to. When I give Honoka a questioning look, she murmurs, “She needs to be able to defend herself as well,” and leaves it at that. While I agree, her size makes it unlikely that she can, at least, until she builds up more strength.

Afterward, we clean ourselves up and text Ryu to come over. The five of us, should have been six, but you should know that Sofi is already down with a fever, talk about what to do since tomorrow we are going on a date. He puts the discussion on while he calls Hiroki and Jim. He quietly talks to them for about 15 minutes and then holds the phone to his chest as he asks, “How would you girls feel about making a day of tomorrow's date? We can go to Sumida Aquarium, then lunch at the Hacienda del Cielo, then go to Konica Minolta Planetarium show, dinner at the New York Grill at Park Hyatt Hotel and then a stroll up Roppongi Hills that evening?”

Looking around at everyone's smile, I think I can easily say that we love the idea, so I tell him, “Sounds wonderful.”

Today, Miyuki wakes me up a little after 5:30 when she tries to climb over me and Chinatsu.

Blearily, I quietly ask, “Mii, is something wrong?”

She shakes her head and murmurs, “No, Sora-nee. I just need to change my tampon, that’s all.”

Getting up, I help her over Chinatsu and she heads down to the bathroom. A few minutes later she comes back and we wake Chinatsu, gather our clothes for today, wake everyone and head down to bathe. Once we have, we dress, I make breakfast for Sofi and take it up to her. After I return, Honoka and I make everyone breakfast, we eat and clean up, then we head upstairs to finish getting ready since we’re supposed to leave at 9:00 to pick everyone up.

I might mention, we talked to Dad about seeing if he could talk to Kei’s, Jim’s and Hiroki’s parents about letting them stay out later with us. Happily, we got the answer from them we were hoping for, so, as long as they are never late, they can stay out until 2:00 when we go on dates.

Also, Miyuki has come along way with us teaching her about fashion, makeup, and generally becoming more lady-like. She still needs help here and there, but she’s much better at doing things for herself. For example: she picked out her own dress, stockings and heels for today and I have to admit she did a great job at coordinating it. Once we finish, I text Mr. Okami to pick us up at the gate. Jason and Igor already have our itinerary for today, so they’ll be following us.

I don’t think I said, but Kei, Jim, and Hiroki caught us in Okinawa and asked why we have so much security. We were at a loss as to what to tell them since I can’t really tell them, “Oh, they want me for the nanites I have inside me.” So, after extracting a promise that wouldn’t tell anyone what I was about to tell them and them agreeing, I told them the truth, just not all of it. I explained that I own TGR, which made them bug-eyed, and that there have been two attempts to abduct me. I also explained that we, meaning all of us, are afraid that someone would come after the people I care about to get what they want out of me.

Of course, they asked me what it is and I told them that it’s a corporate secret, so I can’t tell them what it is. Thankfully, they seemed to accept it at face value and dropped the subject. I did have Honoka, Sofi, and Miyuki follow back up with them about keeping their promise since it would cause quite a few problems if it were known.

Anyway, we pick everyone up and make our way to the Sumida Aquarium at Tokyo Skytree. From what I understand it started out as just a couple of floors when it was first built, but has been expanded over the years. It still doesn’t rival the one at Playland, but it’s quite large since it takes up several floors now and they have some deep sea species you can’t see anywhere else. I think everyone enjoys it as we slowly meander our way throughout it. I have to say I loved the way they did the jellyfish tank as it made them glow and it was quite beautiful. It takes us several hours to go through it and when we finally finish, it’s after 1:00. I text Mr. Okami to meet us at the main entrance as we head down to go to lunch.

Lunch, as said, is at Hacienda del Cielo. None of us has ever eaten here, but if the reviews are anything to go by, we are in for a treat. One thing about me that has never changed from when I was a boy to the me now. I love meat, although Sora-nii preferred his well-done and I like mine medium-rare. Everyone places their order, Ryu, me, and Chinatsu decide to share a double order of Fajitas and even then we barely are able to finish it. The waitress wasn’t kidding when she recommended that Chinatsu and I share an order because they are rather large. Once we finish, Ryu pays our bill and we head to the planetarium.

As I said, the planetarium has a very popular show that takes you on a holographic tour of the galaxy and lasts about three hours. Chinatsu and I snuggled up against Ryu as the show started and soon forgot about everything else. You may ask how that’s possible and my answer is easy since the show was simply that phenomenal. I could tell you about it, but my explanation couldn’t come anywhere near doing it the justice it deserves. Afterward, we walk around and look at a few of the other exhibits they have.

Now, the New York Grill has an incredible menu. The three of us share a large lobster tail and a Kobe beef ribeye. I’ll leave it, dinner was absolutely delicious. Ryu pays our bill and I make a mental note to deposit more money into his account since today’s date has been rather expensive.

I’m not going to say a huge amount about our walk up Roppongi Hills, other than the view when we get to the observation deck is simply breathtaking. After spending some time looking at the sights and making out a bit, we slowly head back down the hill to the SUV and head back to our house.

We’d already discussed it and Honoka and Miyuki want some alone time with their boyfriends. Chinatsu and I gladly gave up our room for Miyuki and Hiroki since we can go to Ryu’s. After reminding everyone to set an alarm so we can make sure the boys get home on time, the three of us head over to Ryu’s.

I have to admit, I think everyone enjoyed themselves today, so the alone time is just icing on the cake.
