Chapter 3: Chapter 3. The Rock

As the Rabbit lay still, Daniel Approaches not too quickly. But also with a slight confidence that he had won, When he picked the heavy rabbit. He inspected it, this rabbit had some similarities, but it was a very dangerous one. 

He looks at his meal, but its raw. He didn't know if eating raw meat was bad, but knew it needed to be cut to consume. Daniel looks around him. Wood, Grass, and rocks.. He seriously was thinking what he needed to cook this meal of his, but nothing came to mind. He could only discard it and leave.

He read somewhere Blood attracts other creatures, While walking away Daniel looks behind and then at his stomach that occasionally growls. He really wanted to eat it, but he couldn't risk eating it raw.

While walking Daniel kept thinking to himself, if he couldn't eat animals maybe Plants? Plants would be hard to consume but it could temporally make him less hungry. And so he did, he got down and started munching on Grass. It didn't taste like anything bad.

After eating many pieces of grass for lunch and dinner, Daniel got up. It wasn't a pleasant meal, but nonetheless he was satisfied with it.

Daniel kept travelling in a single direction, but he sometimes marked a tree to make sure he's going the correct way. 

3 Days Later.

Daniel looked himself, he had armour, weapons and everything he could think was needed to battle. This Treasure trove of a place was something else, weapons are randomly scattered around the lands. But he could not find an exit, he seemed to be trapped in here.

While its not a bad thing, Daniel doesn't wish to live here forever. He got his second change, and he would spend it how he liked.

Daniel climbed a tall tree, at the top he looked around. So much he hasn't explored even while travelling all day. There also wasn't any dangerous animals, while some did attack the weapons cut them like butter the long spear was extremely sharp and he took extra care when handling it.

The winds picked up, and trees flew everywhere. Daniel looked at the loud explosion. For some reason the land exploded. Daniel wasn't sure if it was a creature or just something happens here. Only one way to find out, Daniel gets down and runs in the explosion direction.

As he stopped running and started walking. He was trying to make less noise the closer he got. When he was in front the thing shocked him. It wasn't no monster, It was a meteor. A Large rock is in the middle. But that was strange, if a rock was flying from the sky he would've seen it.

Confusion could be seen on Daniel's face, he walked closer. As he got in front of the large stone, he didn't touch it in fear its extremely hot. He quickly got a stick and dropped it onto of the stone. 

But as the moment it touch, it vanished.

Daniel looked at the strange stone, did it absorb it?

He got more sticks, and dropped them onto it. With the same resolute. He decided that he should feed it and see what happens. Maybe it didn't eat the sticks and just teleport them or destroy them out of existence. But that was for later.

Daniel picked himself a new hobby that he would spend his time doing, it helped him distract himself from his situation. No entrance, no exit. Alone forever, again.

With days turning into weeks, his daily rock feeding became outrageous the moment he tried feeding logs to it. His pet seemed to have a large appetite, and he would try to satisfy it.
