Post Apocalypse Era, Year 101.

A beautiful young lady wearing a luxurious red dress and carrying an expensive looking handbag walked steadily along the richly decorated pathway of the famous Turner Elite Maglev Express.

She was closely followed by a cold looking woman wearing a maid uniform.

Reaching the VIP Lounge section she was politely greeted by the attendees who maintained a professional attitude even though both women were so beautiful, signifying the strict training they received.

The young lady maintained a small smile throughout the greetings and nodded her in response.

"Please."

A young attendant spoke softly while opening the door to the VIP lounge and stepped aside while slightly bowing his head.

"Thank you."

The young lady thanked the attendant and slowly entered the VIP lounge.

The VIP lounge was not overly decorated.

There was soft music played in the background and the whole place had a calm and relaxing vibe to it.

The truly rich did not care much being too extravagant, most preferred a quite and relaxing environment.

The young lady also seemed quite pleased.

Just when she was about to head further in, she noticed the presence of someone else in the corner of the lounge which caused her to pause.

The cold looking maid also noticed that there was someone in the VIP lounge and frowned.

The maid knew that although the young miss was always smiling and looked quite social she very much preferred to be alone.

Just as the maid was about to make a move, the young lady raise her hand, signaling the maid to stop.

The maid was surprised but did not speak, quietly obeying the young lady's orders.

The young lady wore a smile and slowly resumed walking.

Surprisingly, she was heading towards the direction of the stranger much to the maid's shock.

The maid looked at the stranger and could not help but become curious.

The stranger was a young man wearing a black suit and white shirt, paired with black fitting pants and shoes.

The young man had one of his legs over the other and had a focused expression on his face seemingly very much absorbed in the book he was reading.

Even the though the maid did not have much of  a favorable impression of men in general, she could not help but admit that the young man was quite handsome.

He had an angular face with a sharp jawline and smooth brown skin without any blemish. His black hair was short and neatly parted to the side giving him a very refined look.

Although she had seen many handsome men due to following her young miss to all those extravagant parties, they just
seemed to pale in comparison to the young man in front of them.

He had a mysterious aura around him and not to mention he dressed in a simple but classic manner, very much in difference to those pompous young masters who were all hell bent on showing off their wealth trying to court the young miss not knowing the difference between heaven and earth.

The young lady had no idea about her maid's thinking and smoothly walked towards the young man who had earned her interest.

The young lady reached before the young man, put on a sweet smile and softly tapped the wooden table in front of the young man twice with her well maintained long nail.

The young man seemed to have finally noticed someone near him and looked up at the young lady.

The young lady could not help but be somewhat dazed when she looked into the piercing black eyes of the young man, but she hid it well, maintaining a smile she composed herself and asked politely while pointing at the empty seat opposite the youth.

"May I?"

The young man looked at the young looked at the young lady for a second and slowly closed the book in his hand, he softly placed it on the table and pointed at the mentioned seat granting permission.

"Please."

The young man's voice was not too deep and quite pleasant to hear and one could tell that he was quite young just from his voice alone.

The young lady smiled and took her seat, she placed her bag on her lap and crossed her legs getting into a comfortable position.

The young man observed the young lady quietly without much change in his emotion. He leaned on his seat and looked at the young lady with slight curiosity in his eyes.

The young lady saw that the young man did not seem like he was going to take to initiative to speak so she spoke in a somewhat embarrassed tone.

"I would like to apologize if I disturbed you..."

The young lady was clearly not used to taking the initiative to speak and especially to the opposite sex and
seemed quite nervous.

The young man seemed to find it quite funny, he smiled and spoke while looking into her eyes.

"Don't mention it. I was just about finished."

The young man was referring to the book.

The young lady seemed to gain a bit of composure by now, she smiled charmingly and introduced herself.

"I am Emma Scarlet by the way. A freshmen on my way to The Dawn Academy."

The young man slightly narrowed his eyes after hearing her introduction, but he did not show much reaction other than that, he then smiled and spoke slowly.

"Sky"

The young man paused for a bit and looked at young lady with his piercing eyes.

"Valor Sky"

Emma was surprised. The moment Valor spoke of his name his piercing black eyes glowed white for a brief moment and his aura seem to change subtly, if he had a somewhat calm and mysterious aura around him before then for a brief moment his aura changed into something vast and boundless although it looked harmless at first glance, her instincts told her that she stood no chance against him in a fight, it was like facing the heavens themselves, there was no room for any struggle.

As Emma was lost in thought, Valor wore a somewhat amused smile and continued,

"What a coincidence, we seem to be heading to the same place."

Emma snapped out of her thoughts when she heard his last sentence, she did not know why but she was somewhat happy he was also heading to Dawn Academy.

Emma took a deep breathe and composed herself, her face went back to carrying her signature smile and asked curiously.

"Are you also a freshmen?"

Valor nodded his head.

"Yes."

Emma could not believe she had just met a fellow classmate by chance.

'Maybe its fate...'

A slight blush formed on her face when she thought of that, but she quickly controlled it not wanting to embarrass herself more in front of the young man.

Valor did not seem to notice anything strange and continued smiling gently.

The maid who had been standing behind the young lady could hardly believe what was happening.

Even her cold face could not help but crumble a bit due to her shock.

What had happened?

Her ever confident and aloof young miss seemed to be flustered?

The poor maid had no experience talking to the opposite sex so she was absolutely clueless about what was happening.

Valor took the initiative to speak seeing that Emma seemed to have run out of things to say.

He slightly leaned forward from his seat and spoke while pondering for a bit.

"Ms. Scarlet, I am actually not that familiar with The Dawn Academy. Do you have any suggestions for me?"

Emma saw that she had finally caught his interest and immediately capitalized on it.

"Yes. I do know a bit about The Dawn Academy."

The young lady sounded quite confident even though information about The Dawn Academy was well hidden by the United Aiag Government and the other major superpowers.

It was covered in a veil of mystery and the only thing know to the public was that it nurtured the future generation of leaders who would lead humanity if they graduate and grow to their full potential.

Valor seemed quite happy hearing her answer and listened closely.

Emma was also happy to help him and shared her knowledge.

"The Dawn Academy is the cradle of humanity's top talents, its purpose is to nurture the next generation of leaders and bolster humanities strength against the Myriad Races. Almost all the current leaders in all important fields have graduated from The Dawn Academy. It could be said that just graduating from there is a huge ticket to enter the elite circle of humanity. The Dean of The Dawn Academy is also quite mysterious and his strength is rumored to be at least S Rank. He is also a highly knowledgeable, and a renowned Grand-master Alchemist. There are rumors that he is over 150 years old but still looks like he is just 60 year old. He was the one who founded The Dawn Academy and his students have all grown up and are now leaders in various fields of study. He may not be the strongest human but is definitely  the most influential human ever."

Emma clearly had a lot of respect for the Dean which is to be expected as he was one of the main pillars of humanity and his Dawn Academy was the foundation of humanity.

Valor listened carefully absorbing all the useful knowledge.
