I close my eyes as I recall the card I drew from the [Lucky Draw] skill the night before my battle with All for One.

When I first got this card I was completely confused. The fuck was I supposed to do with this? Probability? What’s that? Can you eat it?

The description doesn’t say anything whatsoever! What the hell is this! But I decided to just use it anyway. With my luck, it shouldn’t be harmful to me at the least.

But when I did, I realised what exactly this ‘probability’ is.

Probability: The “chance” of something happening.

This seems like a simple explanation that will make people say ‘well no shit’, but it’s a lot more than that.

Let’s say you flip a coin. There’s a 50% chance it will land on heads, and a 50% chance it will land on tails. Nothing can change that result unless you add another coin or rig the flip in some way. But otherwise, it will always be at 50% for each result. That is the ‘probability’. The ‘chance’ of it happening.

But with this [Probability Allowance] card, it will let me obtain ‘probability’ that can let me ‘affect the chance of something happening’.

With this probability, I can now ‘add’ the chance the coin will land on heads to 70%, instead of it just staying at 50%. Hell, I can even make it a 100% occurrence. Of course, there’s only a limited amount of probability, and the more severe the changes, the more probability will be consumed. But many things are possible. For example…

Changing the timeline.

ROB said that once an error in the timeline occurs, the world will freeze itself in what I'm guessing to be ‘self-preservation’ to prevent the timeline from getting damaged any more. Once something goes missing in the time stream, something that’s not supposed to happen will happen, and something that’s supposed to happen will no longer happen.

But what if it’s ‘meant to be like that’ in the first place? Hear me out. Originally, All Might was supposed to live and support Izuku from the back. But now he’s completely dead. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

But what if it WAS supposed to happen? What if All Might dying was supposed to be a guaranteed occurrence? Then there’s nothing wrong with him dying in the first place, and the world will continue on its path regardless.

That’s where the probability comes in. Using probability, I can make it so All Might was SUPPOSED to die in that battle. This way, the world will see no problem in its timeline and will continue without anyone else the wiser.

That’s what I just did. Because I messed up, the probability I had was completely consumed to try and make up for the loss. Of course, changing the timeline consumes an ungodly amount of probability, there’s no way I can get enough from just a single card. Maybe if I draw more cards…

But the world saw the possibility of its timeline being restored. In the end, the world didn’t freeze, and things continued as it should have. Of course, if I can't make up the ‘probability debt’ I have (from missing the needed probability to change the timeline) within a certain timeframe, the world should just say ‘fuck this shit I'm out’ and just yeet itself into frozenness.

Or at least, this is my theory. It makes the most sense if you think with the thought that the world has its own will.

But he didn’t know any of this. At least this confirms my suspicions that those ROBs can't do anything to affect me or my skills. Especially if they’re unaware of a skill like [Lucky Draw]. But then, how powerful must the being who suppressed my skills be…?

Rumi- “Arata!”

Rumi slides open the door with such force I swear I hallucinated it flying off.

Arata- “Yo!”

She jumps forward and sends a deadly flying kick my way. Normally, we would both just laugh it off. We both know she’s not serious and to her, it’s just a light tap. Of course, her ‘light tap’ could knock a normal man out.

But for me, with my weakened state, this is something that CAN BLOW MY FUCKING HEAD OFF.

That is, without my [Vector Manipulation]. Reflecting the kick away calmly, Rumi instantly loses momentum and falls to the ground. But, she’s used to instantly losing all her momentum during our fights, so she easily lands on her feet.

Somehow, I can see her do that. When I told her about all my secrets, I also told her about major events that will occur. That includes All for One and the unofficial empire he raised in the past during the age of chaos.

Rumi, hearing that, wanted to have a go at the guy, but I managed to dissuade her… at the time. She ended up coming anyway.

I swear, this woman will be the death of me. I feel like I've been saying that a lot recently…

Ah, that makes a lot more sense.

The Gamer ability has many functions that make things seem like a game. The party function is one of them. You can then use the map to locate other party members. But I barely use the map because I can sense all enemies in my surrounding in much higher detail than a 2d map could tell me, so I forgot about the party member locate function.

Yes, Rumi and I are in a party. Now she has access to the [Gamer’s Body] skill and now I can rest easy that she won't end up…
