Chapter 700 – Death Game of Mu-Nyang, Survival Game of Pangu
"What do you want?!"
The five players panicked. None of them understood how they were transmigrated into the game world.
"Don't just copy Saw's line, you freak!"
One of the players was a gladiator. He wore ancient roman plate armor, a metal helmet, and a spear. He waved his spear around, attacking the screen panel.
RUMBLE
An invisible hand pressed the gladiator down to the ground.
Now that the troublemaker was handled, Mu-Nyang explained his game.
The sole female player came back to her senses first. She was a blond elf mage, but she used a dagger instead of wane or staff.
Her in-game name was also unique. She called herself Blowmaster.
"What choice?" She asked.
This type of MOBA game required defensive buildings, towers, and creeps to support players to prevent the winning side from ending the game too early. The same as in this game, Mu-Nyang offered the players a chance.
The female player caught on fast as she had experience in playing a similar MOBA game. She nodded.
"What do we have to do?"
Suddenly, portraits of all captives of Player Faction appeared on their screens.
As soon as Mu-Nyang said that, the female player's face turned pale.
"Will they really die?"
"Die in this case… Will they really die for real?!"
"…"
Meanwhile, Pan Mei and Hiiro heard everything. Their expression turned dark as they had no power to control their fate.
Pan Mei struggled to free himself from the strange hook, but the pain from the wounds was too realistic. He couldn't muster his strength.
Hiiro, on the other hand, seemed fine. Compared to the million years' worth of experience in the green cave, this much was nothing.

However, he only prayed that the RNGesus wouldn't pick him as one of the 70.
While Pan Mei, Hiiro, and 98 other hostages were praying for their gods, a fat player laughed.
The third player played a mace knight. His round belly, pimple-ridden face, and oversized armor made him stand out from the rest.
The player's name was Ke Lin Ji, which could be pronounced as Cringe with a Chinese accent.
Ke Lin Ji immediately agreed without consulting anyone.
"Sacrifice them! Sacrifice them all! Build all the structures, of course!"
The other players on the field glared at the fat knight. Blowmaster and the teammates were surprised that the fatty wanted to kill them all.
RUMBLE
Nine defensive towers and three inhibitors appeared. Aside from the inhibitors, the turret towers were positioned on the path of their main roads.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!"
Instantly, 70 hostages on the player's side were dismembered by the hook machine! Now, 30 of them remained.
Pan Mei and Hiiro gulped and stared at the saw in front of them. Fortunately, the RNGesus was on their side, and they survived.
But then, system panels appeared before them.
Hiiro was surprised, "What game?"
Pan Mei scoffed, "What should I sacrifice myself for the likes of them?!"
All hostages agreed. There was no point to sacrifice their precious lives for strangers.
"Oh?"
Now, everybody leaned toward volunteering. Unfortunately, Mu-Nyang hadn't finished explaining.
The hostages nodded. It wasn't so bad to forget everything here.
Again, the hostages had no problem with it. Saving their lives was better than keeping godforsaken items from a dangerous game.
As if someone splashed them with cold water, the hostages stopped being delusional. They hesitated if volunteering was a good idea.
The hostages laughed, "Let them die then! Those heartless bastards killed the others without hesitation! None of them is worth saving!"
"…"
Mu-Nyang stopped sending messages as he had done messing around and ruined Player Faction's psych. He also let the gladiator go.
Now, the players no longer treated this world as a game and were forced to take things seriously. The cat easily ruined their only mental strength advantage.

Hiiro bitterly smiled. He observed the players below, evaluating their team composition and abilities.
Looking at how flustered they were, Hiiro sighed.
None of them was reliable enough to carry the team in this game.
'I should volunteer as soon as I have the chance.'
BEEP
While the five players on the field were still shocked and confused, the world sent out a warning.
…
Heavenly Dao Faction
All-Heaven Sage, Hades, Eve, Sun Crow, and Xiang Yu were Hongjun's backup fighting force.
Hongjun, Zhunti, and 98 allies of their team were trapped on a hook machine, unable to move. They gazed at their chosen representatives, expecting them to win this game for Heavenly Dao Universe and Pangu.
While Hades and others looked around and inspected their pre-built structures in their base, Pangu gave them game tips.
'Make sure to work together with the Player Faction and get rid of Chaos Realm Faction first! Concentrate on delivering finishing blows to their minions and increase your strength as quickly as possible. Also, don't forget that you get gold coins from killing minions and your opponents. You can use them to purchase artifacts from the shop at the fountain!'
Hades and the fighters looked at the fountain area, where a humanoid toad had been sitting behind a counter, fiddling with his potions.
'To win the game, you can either destroy their bases or kill them until they can no longer be resurrected. Now, go, my children! Get rid of Mao Miaomiao and Mu-Nyang's scourges and protect our universe!'
The fighters nodded. They rushed out of the base to their assigned role that Hongjun had taught them.
But they forgot to purchase basic items on their way out. They left with gold coins in their inventory.
Hongjun wanted to facepalm but he couldn't. He could only sigh as these sages had never learned how to play a mortal's MOBA game, and they didn't understand the core mechanics of the game.
…
Chaos Realm Faction's Base
Miaomiao inspected his game panel. Currently, it showed a mini-map at the right bottom corner of the screen while the main menu showed which items he could buy from the fountain shop.
He purchased a blade and a set of healing potions with all his money and then picked a free vision ward as if it was natural.
Ma Moxi, on the other hand, took two pieces of equipment to boost his character's stats. Then, he turned to the other three newbies.
"Don't forget to buy items to boost your power. You can check their status from the menu. Also, at the bottom right of the system menu, you can see the minimap that shows the location of yourself and your enemies that you and others can see. Also, don't forget to grab free vision wards from the shop and place them in bushes to expand the vision range in the mini-map for others."
Clem clicked her tongue and complained as she couldn't feel her Providence Law or Qi, "This sounds troublesome. Also, how the hell am I so weak?! Why am I a mortal?!"
Currently, Clem appeared as a human-sized lizard with two heads. Upon standing straight, they were a head taller than average humans.
Meng Xin noticed the changes in his body. He also didn't feel his Providence Law. However, he quickly sensed the flow of his Yang Qi.
"How nostalgic. I'm a muscle tempering realm again."
Meanwhile, Xie Tian was calmer than the two newbies. He simply closed his eyes and recall the memory that Miaomiao and he shared. The next moment, Xie Tian picked up items as if he had played this game a thousand times in the past.
Ma Moxi was surprised, "You know the drill, Xie Tian?"
Xie Tian shrugged, "I and my master share our memory. It's useful."
"Alright. You homo can get a room after this. I'll take care of these two noobs myself. Clam, Meng Xin, buy gears that increase your attack power and follow me!"
The two newbies, Clem and Meng Xin reluctantly followed Ma Moxi's instruction and rushed into the forest in front of their base.
Xie Tian left the base and followed the west road, heading toward the border between Chaos Realm Faction and the Player Faction.
Miaomiao glanced at the buildings in his base one more time. The main base was his Temple Command Center while his inhibitors looked similar to a barrack of the system sect building. Aside from that, four MRL turrets stood in front of the command center while five others protected the main three entrances of his base.
One turret guarded the west and east entrance. As for the middle lane, two turrets stood tall.
The structure was different than regular MOBA games. There weren't supposed to be this many towers.
Miaomiao smirked as he believed that Mu-Nyang might have rigged the game for them. He burst into laughter when he found the sect's main hall and a siege engine factory by the sides of the command center.
'Yeah, this game is so rigged that it hurts. Well, I can't complain.'
Miaomiao dashed out toward the center of the map, where the middle road of the three factions intersected.
As soon as Miaomiao reached the center, he discovered a joint stone bridge. On the other side of the bridge, the turret towers of Heavenly Dao Faction and the magic tower of Player Faction stood tall, stopping Miaomiao from proceeding further.
Miaomiao rubbed his chin and drew Killer Queen.
As soon as she came out, the katana complained.
"Why the hell am I so weak?! What on earth did you do to me, damn hooman!?"
Miaomiao rolled his eyes, "Where have you been? We are stuck in the game world for 10 days already."
"I was sleeping so I don't know! Where are we? What is this place?"
"Another game world. Our cultivation is suppressed to a mortal realm."
"Huh?"
"Yeah, I know it's confusing. Heads up. Our opponents are coming!"
Rushing from the Heavenly Dao's side was Xiang Yu, who came here with his warhorse and a halberd.
Miaomiao glanced at the west intersection of the bridge. A roman-like warrior stood in front of his magic tower, staring at his two rivals.
