Kylian frowned as he was put into the same cell again where he had been thrown in a few times in the past few days.
The first time he came here was when he mistakenly jeopardised an undercover Operation of the Police by trying to save a Police Officer who was seemingly being kidnapped.
The second time he was put here again was on the very next day, a few hours after he got his bail.
His offence was that he had used a little too much strength whilst teaching a lesson to the Young Master of a powerful family in Arkton City. The guy was still mad at him for sleeping with his girlfriend a few weeks ago, and Kylian was sure that after the beating, he hated him even more.
Thanks to the Dean and a few connections he developed in the last month, he got bailed after spending a night in the cell again.
As he recalled the day he left the station for the second time, he now regretted being so frustrated over it.
He was so dumb that he ended up in a bar, determined to pick up a girl. And as if the heavens were playing a joke on him, he really got drunk and picked up a Filipino tourist for the night.
It was only the next morning that he regained clarity and realised that the lady he slept with last night used to be a man once, and in his flustered state, he pushed him/her away a little too hard when they came in for a hug, and they ended up hitting their head on the wall.
He really thought that it was not much, and he quickly took his leave, but a few hours later when the police arrived at the Hospital to arrest him, he learned that the Filipino Tourist he had bedded last night was in intensive care due to internal bleeding in their head.
Kylian had never been in his life so ashamed of himself as he was when he got dragged out of the Hospital he worked at with his hands cuffed.
He even caught Emiko throwing him a disgusted glance, and he felt even more embarrassed about it.
To be put in the same cell for the third time in just four days was ridiculous, and he was not even in the mood to tease the beautiful Police Officer, who was also looking at him with disgust now.
He had never been so relieved in his life when the news came out that the Filipino had survived, but that did not mean that the charges against him would be dropped.
However, it did help in getting him bail on Friday morning.
This time, he was very careful about his actions, and he went straight to his home to take a shower and get some much-needed sleep. He did just that, unaware of the hell that was about to break loose on him later that night.
Seven Aurors attacked him that night, and if he did not have this mysterious ability to see through walls and everything, he would really have died there.
He survived, barely, with grievous injuries, and he had unlocked another ability of his eyes during that fight. He could now tell a person's Cultivation Realm just by glancing at them, and could now see all their Aura Channels as well.
But before he could take a sigh of relief, he was attacked again, and another rich brat, whom he had offended a few days ago by saving his dad's life and preventing him from getting his hands on the family fortune, decided to teach him a lesson.
He was far too angry at that time at everything that had been happening to him for the last few days, and he snapped, killing everyone.
Kylian clenched his fists as he held back the urge to punch himself in the face. He was too dumb, and he had been successfully framed by someone.
Yes, he was certain now that someone was after him, otherwise, everything would be too much of a coincidence.
How come he had a camera inside in own house that he was not aware of?
The footage Police had acquired was from an angle where he had no CCTV Camera installed at home, and how was it that all the other cameras were off but only this one was working?
And the only clip that the police obtained was of him strangling the rich brat to death.
Now, for the fourth time in one week, he was back in his Cell; and this time, none of his connections were willing to come forward to rescue him.
He had been fired from the Octavia Hospital as well, and Dean Graham, who had looked after him as if he was his son, now declined his calls and even blocked his number.
There was this urge inside of him to just break out of this place and run far away, but he had already made too many wrong decisions in the last few days that he no longer wanted to jump on the first thought that crossed his mind.
Lowering his head, he walked towards the back of the Cell and lay down on the uncomfortable bed, closing his eyes and getting some sleep.

At least, here in this quiet cell, his rest would not be disturbed.
Miles away from the station where Kylian Dusk was sleeping inside now, a tall young man was sitting at the bottom of the pool, holding his breath for the last hour as he regulated his Aura through his Aura-Channels.
However, his mind was occupied with other thoughts right now.
After a week-long fun, he had successfully managed to strip Kylian of nearly seven hundred points in Fate Value, and now, he could feel that there was nothing more he could do about it. Stripping more Fate Value was simply not feasible anymore.
He had also pushed the Child of Destiny into a corner, making him a little too apprehensive, and leaving Kylian no possible way to get out of the situation he was currently in. At least not the one that Kylian could expect.
But this was something Keith knew that he could not force Kylian to stay in for longer. If the Child of Destiny was made to feel any more hopeless than he already was, he was certain that it would trigger the Spirit Eyes to warp him out of this world to a new one.
If that happens, Keith knew that the Quest would be marked as a failure, resulting in a loss of substantial Experience Points. The System had warned him that it might devolve into Level 1 if that happens.
Keith brushed all the thoughts aside and just focused on all the abilities of the Spirit Eyes that he had come to know about from reading the Plan of Destiny.
He knew that he did not have to worry about losing to Kylian when they face off, but he had to stay wary and make sure that the Child of Destiny does not escape him at the time of his death.
In case Kylian does manage to escape his death, the next time they would meet each other might be when the Spirit Eyes have fully awakened, and Kylian would be very powerful at that time and a much greater danger than he was right now.
Opening his eyes, Keith stopped regulating his Aura and then jumped off the bed of the swimming pool, coming out of the water and finally taking a breath.
"Thank you!" He smiled as sat down at the edge and Minami approached him with a towel to help him dry up.
"It's my duty, Master." She blushed and replied, focusing on her task, and she wholeheartedly enjoyed every moment of it.
Keith did not miss the extra touches where her hands lingered on his skin, but he did not tease her about it, which would only flare up her curiosity and make her bolder. Something he was very much looking forward to.
"Senpai," Iseul walked up to him and handed him a tablet. "The Patriarch of the Sect of Dusk has arrived in the city. And he is using his connections to bail his son out."
"I see." Keith smiled, glad that the old man had made it in time.
It was something Keith had arranged for a couple of weeks ago. The Sect of Dusk had been informed through their trusted channels that Kylian Dusk could now cultivate and that he was a rare talent with an outrageous Cultivation speed.
He was sure that the Patriarch of the Sect had been keeping a close eye on his estranged son, and he was well aware of everything that happened in the last week.
And after what happened last night, where his son survived the assassination attempts by several Aurors, proving that Kylian could indeed cultivate now, he must be determined to save a potential asset for his sect.
"Don't interfere. And arrange for Kylian to get the bail sooner."
All this meant that he could start another round of stripping the Child of Destiny of some more Fate Value.
"Yes, Senpai!" Iseul nodded to him without asking any questions, and then silently entered the house again.
"Minami."
"Yes, Master?" Her hands stopped as she subconsciously replied. "Ehh!!!" But the scream as she was suddenly grabbed and pulled into the water by Keith.
When she surfaced, she found him sitting again at the edge of the pool, playfully smiling at her.
"Come. I will help you dry." He said, and his cute and loveable maid burned in a scarlet blush.
"Mhm.." She meekly nodded to him before she let him grab her arms and pull her out of the pool.
