"Good night." He planted a kiss on her head, and Amelia closed her eyes, giving in to his comforting caresses.

There was a sweet smile on her face. content at finally getting a chance to sleep with him alone at night. She had terribly missed his warmth and the touch of his skin, and now, after a fervent love-making session, that lasted for nearly the entire night, she blissfully drifted off to her dreams.

Keith waited for a while until she was soundly asleep, and then he poked some key acupoints on her body, ensuring that she would not wake up for a while.

He was just taking precautions as he wanted to avoid the questions he could not answer yet.

It was the same reason why he had not told Venessa that he had given her the Nine-Yang Divine Physique. Some things were better kept secret.

"System, how long would it take for the Eyes of Spirit to successfully integrate with her?"

{With the System's Halo, the estimated time is 3 to 4 hours, Host. Otherwise, it will take her nine days, and she would feel immense pain as the Eyes of Spirit make changes to her Blood.}

"And how much is it going to cost me?"

{Since she has a 100% Affinity for the Eyes of Spirit and the Divine Laws would not resist the process, it will not cost any Fate Value.}

Keith nodded to those words and then took out the Golden Orb that was resting inside his System Inventory.

These were the Eyes of Spirit, and just by holding them in his hand, he could feel the Power that ran through them.

Gently, he brought the orb over the face of his wife, who was now floating in the air, and then he pressed it down on her forehead.

The moment it touched her forehead, it started sinking into her without any resistance.

"Start." He gave permission and the System got to work.

{Initializing Host's request..."

A halo appeared around Amelia as the System helped her integrate the Eyes of Spirit much faster than it was supposed to take.

And only a minute later, the Realm Sealing Bracelet on her left wrist got to work, storing all the excess Aura that her body had started refining at an alarming rate, and prevented her from the awaiting Law of Judgement.

Keith smiled when the Runes on her body suddenly lit up in excitement, and he took his time taking a careful look at them.

For the next four hours, Keith stayed right there, watching the process and observing the changes in his dear wife.

There were not any visible changes that people could pick on.

Her eye-lashes were slightly longer than before, but it was not to a level that would make the change stand out.

There was no sudden gain in height as he was expecting, which was a good thing as it would not rouse her curiosity more.

And the only other change was in her Aura, which was a more lustrous golden now.

After the phenomenon ceased, he gently brought her down on the bed before lying next to her. He then wrapped his arm around her, scanning her body with his Aura, and searched for any internal changes.

The most obvious change was in her immune system, which was much stronger than ever, and then there were the extra Aura Nodes that had appeared inside her eyes and forehead.

She had a total of 88 Aura Nodes on her body now instead of 81. And it was only a good thing as it would aid her in Aura Circulation and also let her refine more Aura at the same time.

And Keith knew that as her Bloodline manifests itself, the number of Aura Nodes in her body will keep increasing.

The jump in her Fate Value was surprising, but it was expected, after all, she had gained a Treasure that was capable of powers that even the most powerful of the Gods would envy.

"How long would it take for her to awaken the first power of the Eyes of Spirit?"

{A few weeks, Host.}

Keith then proceeded to look at his own Fate Value, and the boon in Amelia's Value had aided his as well.

[Fate: 666 (Black) + 9345 (Rising Trend).]

He had gained a 1000 Fate Value, which was almost one-fourth of the Fate Value that Amelia had gained after integrating the Eyes of Spirit.

Planting a kiss on her head, he closed his eyes too, deciding to get some sleep.

Unfortunately for him, his rest was short-lived as he was woken up by the girls a couple of hours later.

"Keith..." Kiara whispered in his ear for the fourth time, and he finally opened his eyes.

He could see her teasingly smiling as she could tell that Amelia and he were naked under the sheets. But Keith was not the one to feel any embarrassment over it and curiously raised his brow.

"Yes?" He softly asked as he looked at his little sister and his blonde wife who was standing behind her.

"There's someone special coming over today," Kiara informed him.

"Who?" He curiously asked. "Alana?"

"Heh... If you miss her, I could give her a call. I am sure she would be more than happy to come over and meet you."

"I am going to see her in a few days anyway." He told her as he carefully got out of bed, not ashamed of his nakedness.

Though both Kiara and Rebecca blushed slightly, they were quite used to seeing him in this state now, and his little sister simply hugged his arm as she led him to the dressing room.

"Who's coming over?" He asked again.

"It's a surprise now." She pulled her tongue at him. "Go freshen up. We will leave for Noxville Airport in half an hour."

Her words made him more curious as Noxville Airport was not yet operational. Only the very special people were allowed to use it.

Suddenly, an enchanting and adorable face popped up in his mind and he smiled.

"I see." He planted a kiss on her cheek and entered the dressing room.

Kiara and Rebecca both giggled as they could tell Keith had guessed who it was and then they both left the room.

Others might have missed it, but Rebecca did see that the length of Amelia's eyelashes was slightly longer than last night, but it was not enough to make her burn in curiosity.

The two of them only had to wait for twenty minutes before Keith met them in the living room. He seemed to be in no rush as he sat down and enjoyed the breakfast Minami prepared for him. And then, after checking all his messages and looking at the news and memos about their business, he got up and left the Manor with the two of them.

At exactly 11:30 am, a private plane landed at Noxville Airport, and Keith smiled when he saw a snow-haired girl come out, wearing a beautiful blue frock.

She was around thirteen, quite tall for her age, and her beautiful smile could warm the heart of even the most depressed souls.

"Lord Keith." The girl suppressed her excitement very well and courteously greeted him as a Princess would greet another Royal.

"Princess Avriel." He slightly bowed to her and then offered her his hand.

It was not something that should be done, but he did not care, and neither did Avriel as she happily placed her hand on his, letting him plant a kiss on her knuckles.

"You are more beautiful than ever." He smiled at her, looking right into her eyes, and was quite amused by the blush that crept on her face.

"Thank you, Lord Keith. And you are still the most handsome man in this world." She replied, much to the amusement of Kiara and Rebecca, who giggled at her words.

"Of course." He nodded his head and then took a good look at the two maids behind her, and the Man who was standing a respectful distance away. "Leah, Bonnie."

"Lord Erebus." The two maids bowed to him in unison, returning his greeting.

"Sir Aulon."

"Lord Erebus." The bearded man, who was well over seven-feet tall bowed to him, and when their eyes met, he could tell that he wanted to speak to him alone.

"Show Avriel around the Castle. I need to talk to Sir Aulon about something." He turned to look at his little sister, who nodded her head and then stepped forward to grab the Princess' hand and lead her to the car.

Rebecca nodded to him and left too, and when the girls were gone, Aulon stepped forward and bowed to him again.

"What happened?" Keith straightforwardly asked.

"We were on a mission in Austria. It was to recruit a few capable Espers that we had discovered, and one of them was very promising."

"And powerful?"

"Yes." Aulon nodded his head. "Since we could not recruit a person who was so powerful without understanding him and his motives, the Princess accompanied me on the mission. However, the boy had enemies of his own, and he was on the verge of death when we arrived at the scene. There were too many enemies..."

"And she lost control of her Powers and saved everyone and that boy."

"Yes." Aulon nodded his head.

"Where's the boy?"

"He was unfit. His mind was consumed by vengeance."

"I see." Keith smiled in his heart. "Did you eliminate him?"

Aulon frowned at his words but then shook his head.

They did plan on eliminating the boy after they found him unfit, but they could not do it in front of the princess.

As dictated by the Plan of Destiny, its favoured Child was gone by the time Aulon returned to kill him. And there were no traces of him now.

"Sir Aaron has been pressing the King to let him take care of the Princess. He has gone as far as to say that she is a danger to the Royal Family."

"I see." Keith understood what was happening and why they were there. "You can stay here for as long as you need. I will help the Princess with her powers."

"Thank you, Lord Erebus."

"No need." He shook his head and then turned around to walk towards the car.

There was really no need to thank him. After all, it was only beneficial to him that a Heroine of Destiny stays by his side on her own accord.
