Eve's Kitchen, Adaline Street, Mystich City, Oldwyn, Netheria.

It was a famous restaurant in the city, situated right next to Mystich University, and since it was late in the afternoon, there were lots of people present there.

On a table in a corner, a very handsome young man sat across a pretty lady in an office skirt.

The man looked to be around the age of 22 with dusty brown hair and green eyes. His aquiline nose, coupled with his high cheekbones and thin lips could make any maiden sneak a glance at him. And he was tall too. Even though he was sitting right now, it was not hard to guess that he was around six feet in height.

Across him, the lady who was wearing an office skirt with her black hair tied up in a ponytail looked to be in her early twenties too. She might not be beautiful enough to take a man's breath away, but she was beautiful in her own right. Her light brown eyes, which were big and adorable, could make a man sink into their depths if they looked long enough into them.

However, right now, their expressions marred their charm a little.

The silence that lingered between them indicated that they were not discussing anything pleasant, and the mistiness in the young man's eyes showed that he was a lot more affected by their talk than the lady who sat across from him.

"I am sorry Mathew, but I am no longer in love with you. The time we spent together will always remain close to my heart, and I promise you that things are better off this way."

"Huh..." The young man scoffed before he sadly smiled. "It is only because I am a poor man when compared to the one your family has found for you. Isn't it, Mel?"

The woman frowned at his words, but instead of replying to him, she sighed and stood up.

"Six years, Mel. Six years..." He lightly said, and his body trembled slightly as he found it hard to contain the sorrow in his heart.

"Life is not about love alone. Yes, money is important, and from where I belong, it is much more important." She paused and then met her ex-boyfriend's eyes. "I also have my dreams. I am not ashamed to admit that, for a while, I was ready to give them all up for you." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. " But we grow out of our naivety as we grow older. You will too. Goodbye, Mathew."

She could no longer stay there and then steeled her heart as she walked out of the restaurant without even turning to look at him.

An elderly couple at the next table audibly sighed when they caught Mathew shedding tears.

They had heard the conversation and witnessed the break-up that just took place, but after shaking their head, they returned to their mundane chat.

It was not their place to go forward and comfort the young man. From their experience, it was better if the person dealt with their sorrow on their own. It would only make them stronger, and life was filled with heartache at every corner. So, a person must learn how to deal with their pain.

Mathew did not realise how much time had passed. The sky outside had already dimmed down, and it was only minutes away from embracing the darkness.

Finally, sorting out the thoughts that had been running through his mind, he picked out the cell phone from his pocket and dialled a number.

The phone only rang twice before it was picked up.

"Have you decided?" An elderly man asked.

"Yes, Grandfather. I am ready to inherit and bear the responsibilities of the Family Business," He resolutely spoke, and the old man on the other end stayed silent for a few seconds.

It was as if the old man could sense that the Young man was not in his right mind, and was waiting for Mathew to think over his decision again.

"I am ready, Grandfather." He spoke again, much softly this time.

"Good." The old man acknowledged his words. "I am in Eden right now. We will deal with the procedure tomorrow after I return."

"Yes, Grandfather."

"Do you want to return to your father's house tonight?"

"No."

"Alright. You will be contacted by the head butler of our family in a few minutes. And then he will come to pick you up."

"Thank you, Grandfather."

"Hmm." The old man nodded to his words and then ended the call.

As promised by his maternal grandfather, the butler of the family called him two minutes later, and then half an hour later, a Rolls Royce Phantom arrived outside the restaurant, catching a lot of eyes.

Vehicles were not allowed to enter this street, and thus, it attracted everyone's attention.

"Master Mathew." The old butler opened the door for him, and on the street, the few people who recognised him could not help but look at everything in surprise.

Mathew had gone to the Mystich City High School and then attended Mystich University. He had spent 7 years on this street and had been a frequent visitor to a lot of shops here. Therefore, it was not a surprise that people recognised him.

And some of them were his juniors at the University, who were sitting outside a cafe and watched him enter the car after the butler bowed to him.

In today's age, it was not hard for the news to reach the masses, and it was likely that the next morning, the news would reach his friends and his ex too.

Lost in his own troubles and thoughts, the gossips about him were the last thing on his mind.

"Your grandfather had asked me to prepare for this day, Master Mathew." His butler, whose name was Albert, spoke after the car returned to the main road. "Would you like to spend the night in the arms of a maiden?"

Mathew frowned at those words, but just when he was about to refuse, he stopped and closed his eyes as his heart ached again.

"Yes." He lightly answered.

"Very well." Albert nodded and then drove towards a high-end club which was owned by the Oscar Family, Mathew's maternal family.

Never in his life had he imagined that he would step inside Viselda, the most famous playground for the young men and women, and even the old of the filthy rich in the city.

It was a strange feeling to have everyone bow to him. They were the workers at the club who had been informed of his identity, and he was sure that they were instructed to do it. Even then, the feeling was surreal, and it made him feel powerful.

'A son of Baker was never supposed to receive this treatment.' He laughed as he reminded himself in his heart.

It was not that he was poor and had no money. In fact, he had a lot of money as his father owned several successful bakeries in the city. But they did not have the kind of money that he could indifferently splash at the luxuries of life.

When he was guided into a suite on the top floor of the club, he immediately regretted the decision he had made.

He had said yes on an impulse, and now, he felt a little agitated.

Never in his life did he think that he would be losing his virginity to a prostitute, but he could not turn around and walk out of the room even after debating over it for a minute.

Mathew was 23 this year, and he was still a virgin. It was all thanks to his ex-girlfriend of six years, who had never chosen to go all the way, and as someone who deeply loved her, he had restrained his urges.

Now that these thoughts ran through his mind, the anger he had been holding back finally started boiling.

To him, it was now clear that Melissa never loved him as she was never sure about him. Why else would she have insisted over and over again, even in the heat of the moment that she wanted to save herself for their wedding night?

"Huh..." He clenched his fists as he recalled her words that rang in his mind.

"I am getting married next month." Those were the first words she said to him when she invited him for lunch today.

He had felt the alienation in her behaviour for the past three months, and he had been consoling himself by blaming it on her job, which she had successfully bagged last October after graduating from the university.

Mathew laughed at himself at how naive and happy he was in the morning when she texted him to meet her over lunch.

His train thoughts came to a halt when the door of the dressing room opened, and out walked a young girl around the age of 16 or 17, and he could not help but stare at her.

She was beautiful and looked so innocent, but at the same time, her slightly trembling body, which was wrapped in a pink bathrobe, ignited the fire in his loins.

"What's your name?" He stood up and asked, already unbuttoning his shirt, ready to just get on with the deed and distract his mind. However, the girl shied her eyes away, which made him a little curious.

"Julia." She replied after she lowered her head, and then her trembling hands undid her robe as the lady who had brought her here instructed her to do.

Mathew had no care for her name. He had only asked for it out of courtesy, but as his emotions and lust started to swell, coupled with everything that happened today, his mind became hazy.

Walking over to the innocent-looking girl, who had been brought here to do not-so-innocent things with him, he grabbed her and then pulled her into the bed.

She looked perfect to him, so very perfect, and after taking off his pants and throwing them away, he got between her legs and rubbed his glans over her freshly shaved mound and puffy lips.

His eyes were too hooked on her body that he failed to notice a tear slip out of her eyes, and it was only when he pushed inside her and broke past the resistance that his mind regained clarity.

Her painful groan thundered in his mind, and when he saw some blood leak out of where they were connected, he froze.

Julia was in pain, but more than that, she was fearful after she found him frowning. She knew she was brought here to please this man, and if she failed, she would not be able to get the rest of the money.

Taking the initiative, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him on top of her, and then she thrust her hips forward, taking more of him inside of her.

It was too much for an inexperienced man like Mathew, whose lust won over his conscience and he started moving inside of her, indulging in the exquisite pleasure that he had never experienced before.

After nearly an hour-long indulgence, where he pulled her into his arms and then stared at the ceiling, he could not help but be curious about her reasons for selling herself.

He was sure that she was not a prostitute. She was even inexperienced in kissing, but he decided to not ask her these questions and talk about it with Albert in the morning.

Just when he was about to close his eyes, a voice rang in his mind that made him open them wide in alarm and confusion.

[Ding! All Requirements have been met!]

[The Flower Cultivation System has been unlocked!]

[Congratulations Host on finally graduating from his virginity!]

[A reward for awakening the system and losing your virginity has been sent to the System Inventory in the form of a Novice Gift pack. The Host can open it anytime he wishes.]

A series of four prompts sounded out in his mind, and Mathew failed to make sense of what was happing.

"Flower Cultivation System?" He confusedly spoke and immediately received an answer.

[The Flower Cultivation System is the result of the Will of the last Flower Emperor. And the job of the Flower Cultivation System is to help the Host become the next Flower Emperor by conquering the finest women in existence.]

"What?"

He had no idea what the voice in his mind was speaking about, but as the System continued explaining things to him, he finally accepted that he had not gone mad.

What he learned were very strange things which could be considered straight out of some fantasy, but curiously enough, he found himself taking it very well.

After a while, there was a strange smile on his face as he closed his eyes.

It was the beginning of a new life for him, and he was expectantly looking forward to it.
