When Iseul opened her eyes, she found herself lying in a familiar bed and under a familiar ceiling, and she immediately pouted at the man who was sitting at the study table in the room, reading his Tome in an unknown language.
"Why did you do it, Senpai?" She grumpily asked.
"You let your guard down." He lightly said, and she frowned.
"He had no chance of escaping."
Keith smiled at her words but did not answer her, and Iseul turned to look at the clock to find that it was nearly dawn.
"Get ready, we are leaving after breakfast."
"What?" She looked at him in surprise. "Where?"
"Eden." He replied, and though she was curious, she got up and entered the dressing room to get ready.
When she exited the room after taking a shower and dressing up for the day, she started packing her important stuff.
"Are Naomi and Julian coming too?"
"No." Keith closed the Tome of Alchemy and put it back inside the System Inventory. "There is going to be a war, and I have a meeting with Volos and the Governor General."
"A war?" She looked at him in surprise. "Oh, you are talking about Hades and Nergal." She nodded her head and then excitedly smiled, but his next words shocked her.
"No." Keith smiled at her. "A war between me and Nergal."
"Really?" The excitement in his voice was now far greater than before. "I will get to watch it?"
"Yes." He chuckled and then walked over to her, curiously looking into her light brown eyes. "Choose." He held out his hands, with a Dagger in one and a Pendant in the other.
Iseul recognised the pendant as the one Keith had made Albert steal from Mathew, and she frowned.
It was beautiful and tear-shaped, made out of a shining metal that resembled platinum but was more lustrous, and on it were strange Runes that she could not understand.
"What does the pendant do?" She really wanted to take the Dagger, but she could tell that the Pendant was very special.
"I will tell you after you make your choice." He playfully said, making her pout in response.
Keith smiled when Iseul reluctantly took her eyes off the Dagger and picked the pendant from his hand, praying that she had made the right choice.
"Good choice." He flicked her nose. "Now, prick your finger and pour a drop of your blood on it. Make sure it contains a hint of your Aura."
Iseul no longer asked any questions and did what Keith told her.
The moment her blood touched the pendant, it was mysteriously absorbed by it, and then it exuded a very comforting feeling that calmed down her nerves and also helped heal the small cut she had made on her fingertip.
"What does it do?" She curiously asked.
"It's a Magical Treasure that helps the wearer keep a clear mind, and it also augments their Physical and Mental strength to an extent. It also contains a lot of Yin and Yang Energy. The Yang energy will help in the healing process as well as provide you with more endurance. As for the Yin energy, it will increase your libido and will protect you against ailments. It will also provide you with Poison Resistance." He smiled as he watched the surprise on her face. "Additionally, it has a defensive mechanism, and it will catch on to your fear and the danger that surrounds you, and it will conjure up a protective barrier around your body. The barrier would be strong enough to shield a few blows from someone two to three times stronger than you."
"Awesome!" She excitedly hopped on her feet and hugged him. "Thank you, Senpai!"
"You're welcome. But remember. It has its limitations, and there is no guarantee that it will be able to completely shield an attack. So, don't be reckless."
"I won't be reckless!"
"That's a lie." He smiled at her and she playfully stuck her tongue at him.
Keith knew that she was smart enough to heed his warning so he did not talk about it again.
"Also, it only works as long as you are wearing it." He reminded her. "And as you have seen, someone can take it off you."
"I understand." She nodded her head and then looked at the Dagger. "Is it more special than the Dagger?"
"Yes." He chuckled at the smug look on her face.
"I chose well." She nodded to herself. "But what does the Dagger do?"
"It's deadly sharp and can cut through the Aura Defence of anyone in or under Primal Desolation Realm, even if you do not imbue your Aura in it." He chuckled when her mouth dropped open in shock. "And a single cut can burn the blood inside the body, which is excruciatingly painful. And only someone in Nascent Profound Realm or above can negate it with their Aura, however, if there are multiple cuts and a fatal injury, then even they might not be able to prevent their blood from burning."

"How is that less special than the pendant?!" She pouted and then longingly looked at the Dagger.
"It is not as special as the pendant." He shook his head and refused to explain more to her.
The Dagger had its limitations and was not going to be useful against some special people. However, these things were not something Iseul could understand and judge right now.
"Wear it." He ordered, and Iseul held out her hand to him, asking him to put it on her.
Keith sighed but helped her put the pendant on her neck, and to her glee, he planted a kiss on the back of her neck too.
"It feels good!" She admitted that she felt calm, very calm, and she also sensed that it was feeding on her Aura. But it was half the rate at which she could replenish it, so she was not bothered by it.
"Looks good on you." He commented and then put the Dagger inside the storage ring.
The two walked into the dining room a few minutes later and found Amelia, Yingying, and Minami already waiting for them.
Good morning!" He planted a kiss on their foreheads and then took his seat as his dear daughter helped him plate his food.
"When are you leaving?" Amelia asked.
"We have a flight to catch at 7 a.m." He informed her.
His wife nodded to him and then she curiously looked at the pendant Iseul was wearing on her neck.
It was not its beauty that attracted her to it, but the Runes that were carved on it.
She was tempted to ask Iseul to let her borrow it to study it, but she kept the urge in her heart and focused on her meal.
Keith smiled at her behaviour but did not say anything.
"You are taking Minami with you?" Amelia asked after a while.
"Yes." He nodded, and his wife could not help but smile.
"Be careful. Some might start thinking that she's your favourite." She playfully said, and everyone at the table smiled at her words.
"They might not be wrong about it," He teasingly replied, and Minami blushed a little.
An hour later, all five of them reached the Airport, and Keith kissed Amelia before she entered the Demiliore Family's Private Jet and wished him a safe trip.
Keith later embarked on the other Private Jet that was waiting for him, and it was Iseul who was going to fly it.
He sat on the comfortable seat, smiling at his beautiful Shadow, and Yingying curiously looked at him as she sensed he had something to say to her.
"Want a new sword?" He asked, and she raised her brow before shaking her head.
She loved her Jian Sword that she had carried with her ever since it was gifted to her by Venessa, and she quite loved it.
"Sad." He shrugged as a sword suddenly appeared in his hand.
It had a simple back scabbard with intrinsic Runes on it, and the hilt was black too. It had a pommel of a roaring black cat, and a beautiful diamond-shaped guard.
He had just bought it from the System Shop for her for 100,000 System Points, and it was a very special weapon. Well, at least, special at this stage of the Cultivation.
Yingying's eyes flickered in longing as she looked at the sword in his hand. And it was clear that she was now regretting her answer.
Keith smiled at her and then pulled the sword out of the scabbard, showing her that he was a Jian Sword.
And both Minami and Yingying marvellously looked at the beautiful silver blade that had Runic-Patterns all over it.
"Still don't want it?" He teased her and chuckled when she drew her hand forward, asking for it.
"Good girl." He grinned at her as he handed it to her, and then let her inspect it.
"It is a special sword, and it will require a name." He informed her.
"Queen..." She immediately whispered and smiled. "Thank you, Master."
"You are welcome, Ying'er." He smiled at her and then pulled her in his arms, capturing her lips in a soft kiss.
