After my suggestion to Celes, we walked back to my house in silence. Her, thinking about my request, and me thinking about the logistics and reasons.
Sensei was the type of woman who wouldn't take handouts. Even if I asked her to join and help me make a vtube idol agency, if she thought I was doing it to help her, she would refuse.
But.
If I made it a situation where I needed help making it be a reality, I could probably convince her to do it.
...Though it might have to involve Ren.
But anyway, idols.
I hated the fact that I'd have to stream at least once a week as Azura, but money *was* money. And I hated owing Ren a lot. Then there was Celes to take care of now too.
I sighed and pulled out a notebook from my bag to take some notes and organize my thoughts.
At the moment, I was sitting in the kitchen with a cup of green tea to relax and think.
Celes was currently upstairs in my room, both practicing with the streaming equipment and rewatching my stream as Azura to get a gist for what it meant to be a VTuber.
...And I was doing my best not to think about that last bit.
But anyway, logistics.
I flipped open a page and grabbed a pen to start writing stuff down.
First off: The System.
It was blatantly biased before and tried to shove me towards being a girl. Both in streaming and in real life, judging from the compensation messages I got.
Fortunately, the higher ups noticed and were fixing things... Which included giving me enough achievement points for a hundred gacha pulls among other things.
I was staying away from that though. Gacha was bad civ. In fact, I planned to stay away from the system in general for a few days. Better to not tempt fate... or in this case, the sentient AI that was running the thing that could literally change my life overnight.
Still, the fact was that I got a bunch of useful stuff for streaming as well as a good start on cash.
The best thing to do later would definitely be to use the system to get things and bootstrap my way up, but considering how easily things got out of hand by relying on it... yeah, slow and steady.
Besides, I was just entering high school... I had my whole life ahead of me, so there wasn't a need to rush for world domination or anything crazy like that.
A comfortable, carefree and easy life. Yep. That's what I was aiming for. Especially now that Celes was here to help me out-
"Oh yeah..." I frowned. "That'll be a problem, huh?"
I made a quick note and muttered, "Celes is a princess. I saved her and she hasn't brought it up, but there's probably some issues... And we need to settle her identity too."
Japan was super strict on foreigners. And Celes was definitely a foreigner... without paperwork or anything too.
I pulled out my phone, hesitating. "Should I call Dad...?"
I didn't know what kind of shady job my dad did, but I knew that he could probably fix this.
He liked messing with me, but when it came to things that counted, my dad always pulled through. And if I was serious about this, then he would definitely do his best to help me out.
...But he was also busy. Not to mention that he already did a lot raising me by himself too...
I tapped my pen against the table and then muttered, "I'll think about that later."
The System definitely had a fix for this. After all, it marked Celes as a 'Platinum-Grade Talent', so it wouldn't want me to lose her.
Things would probably be fine for a while. And if it wasn't, I was sure I could buy a fix with the amount of compensation they gave me.
So for Celes, I wrote a 'think about it later' note.
Next up, Sensei.
She was definitely in a tough spot and too caring for her own good.
I wasn't in the habit of worrying about girls like Ren was, but even I felt bad about someone as kind as Ayumi Sensei getting hurt or getting into trouble.
I was just a high schooler, so I couldn't do anything tangible to help her. But if I started up the idol agency... and if that transformation ability worked properly this time, I could set things up to help her out.
But that required setting things up. Fortunately, I had until the end of summer break... which was about a month since we were near the end of July and we started school again at the end of August. Not long, but also not too short that I had to rush.

Which brought me to the main objective.
"...How the heck do I make money?"
I tapped on my notebook and frowned.
At the end of it all, it came back to that.
If I was an adult again, there were lots of things I could do. Open a business, work, do some free lancing-
Wait.
I stopped and then muttered, "Main Menu."
The moment I did, a familiar light blue window popped up in front of me.

"Hm..."
There were a lot more skills now. Before, it was just karate and cardio. Now though, I had a lot of weird ones.
But I could check those out later. For now...
I tapped on <Expert Singing> to confirm something.
[Expert Singing]
A skill that corrects your singing technique and abilities to an expert. It grants singing prowess equivalent to an average professional singer.
"I thought so. It wasn't just the system doing it last time then, huh?"
As Azura, I managed to pull off a decent cover song. It was a parody, but the singing was top notch.
In that case...
"...Ugh. I'm going to hate my life, but money is money..."
I had a beautiful VTuber avatar, could sing just as beautifully with a charming a cutesy voice, and had all the gear to set things up.
And I *was* getting bored with relearning everything in school... not to mention that this was the best way to gather resources to make sure that Celes was safe and that I could help out Sensei...
"...Right." I nodded and then glared at the floating window. "I'm not doing this because I like it. I'm doing this because I need to in order to help people. Got it?"
I didn't get a response from it. But that was obvious. After all, the person... or the AI behind the <Notes> system that kept giving me cheeky commentary was on time-out.
"Sen-sama?" Celes's voice echoed from my room.
I looked up to see her walking over. "Yeah, Celes?"
"I think I understand what you want me to do... But how exactly do you want me to do it? And why?"
"To answer your questions... By my side, and because we need money."
Celes turned a deep red and started shifting in place. "S-Sen-sama. T-That... I did not think it was that sort of job. B-But I suppose that is a fast way to earn money... A-And if it is with you, t-then..."
I paused and then covered my face. "Okay. Maybe I could have worded that better..."
