After an hour of walking and complaining, we finally arrived at the city wall with two armored men guarding the front gate. We walked up to them as they stared at us, or more specifically leered at the women in my party.
"Oh wow! I haven't seen any of you ladies around here before. Are you here for business or ''pleasure''?" One of the guards calls out asking them while the other guard ogles them for a second before returning his gaze towards the only guy in the group. He then looked around making sure there were no other witnesses which he didn't find any and nudged his partner.
"We're here for business, which is none of yours," Kalawarna told them, which caused the first guard to grip his weapon harder in anger, though he kept the smile on his face.
"I'm sorry to inform you, but we need to inspect you quite thoroughly to make sure you don't have anything demonic or illegal items on you. Or trying to sneak in someone your not supposed to." He said hinting at Celestine who kept her hood up.
"Don't worry we do this all the time. You could never be too careful with demons running rampant everywhere." The first guard tried to be convincing but fell flat with how obvious his intentions are.
"Hey boy, why don't you stay here and wait for us to finish checking them? It wouldn't take more than a few hours. On second thought, we may need help from a few of our colleagues, so it'll take a few days. Don't worry though, we'll take good care of them in the meantime." The second guard sneered at me. He was about to grab Kalawarna's arm when she smack his hand away.
"Don't you dare touch us you sorry excuse of men! Only our Ashikabi can touch us." Yumi yelled in outrage out while spinning her scythe at them. She wanted to attack them, but she held back, keeping her ashikabi's plan in mind.
Before the guards could say anything back, most likely from shock, they were knocked unconscious from behind. Everyone waited with baited breaths for an alarm or something to happen, but nothing did.
"Huh, that was easy." Kanae pouted dropping her invisibility and reappearing behind the guards giving them a dark look. She crouched down picking their pockets and taking their money, armor, and any items they have. Which she then gave to me for safekeeping.

Kalawarna kicked the guards in the stomach as they walked past into the city. I stayed back, waving for them to go on ahead. I waited until I couldn't see them and created a very thick earth wall around us. I then used the light of reflection to hide us from sight.
I looked at the cards noticing that their level was only 27 and 28 respectively. Most of the stats are in the mid-'30s, which doesn't help tell me anything if it's high or low since the story doesn't go into any details about that.
I shrugged my shoulders used lighting hand for a second between their legs just to be on the safe side.

Which was a mistake once I saw a large wet patch forming on their underwear. A second later I started smelling it which I quickly dropped the earth wall and ran while keeping the invisibility on myself.
I left the guards alone after that, which Kalawarna took advantage of that to appear. She sneered at the guards, crouching down with her glowing hands at their heads, "Your lucky that your deaths would cause us unnecessary trouble, otherwise, I'd kill you. Although losing the last few hours of your memory is at least a small compensation."
After that, she caught up with the rest of her group who gave her a curious look, but she ignored them. Not a minute later, they approached an older woman to ask for directions. She was carrying her groceries and trying to keep an eye on her child who was running around her.

"Excuse me, ma'am?" I asked hoping the language Aqua put into my head works.
She turned towards us, giving Kanae and Kalawarna a curious look, before looking a little weary at Yomi who held her scythe in a light grip. When she looked at Celestine, she blushed lightly before she looked back at me.
"How may I help you?" She asked, putting down her bags. She grabbed hold of her kid who was trying to touch the scythe, "Luca! You know you are not supposed to touch other people's things. Sorry about that. This child is always curious. Don't mind him."
"It's no problem, ma'am. Kids will be kids. Um, we're in Axel, right? We've lost our map and gotten lost in the woods." I spoke before Yomi could say anything bad.
"Yes, you are. Welcome to the town of novice adventurers, Axel. Are all of you traveling together to become adventurers?"
"Not at first, no. We met by coincidence and decided to form a party for safety's sake." Celestine said with some of us nodding in agreement.
I was kind of reluctant to believe her that we arrived, but I was hopeful. Though I wouldn't drop my guard for a few days just in case it was a trap.
Maybe I should use the tickets for more accessories and miscellaneous stuff. My luck did increase by a bit and having more is always better. Or I could wait for Aqua to arrive and have her increase my luck with her spell then do it. I turned my attention back to the conversation, but weirdly enough nothing was said.
It turned awkward for a few seconds as the woman, her kid and a few people nearby were in a trance from Celestine's voice. Kalawarna, who was annoyed decided to do something about it and cleared her throat bringing them back to their senses.
*Cough Cough*
The woman stuttered awkwardly before speaking, "S-sorry about that. I didn't know what came over me."
"It's fine. Could you point us towards the Guild by chance?" Kanae asked hoping to get away from there. She's hungry and curious about what kind of food they serve here.
"Uh, yeah. Just go down this main road, turn right, and after that go on straight. You can't miss it, it has adventurers guild written in big letters on the front of the building. If you get lost, ask for directions." She informed us, pointing behind herself.
"Thank you, ma'am. We appreciate the help."
"Oh, it's no trouble, dear. Good luck to you young adventurers."
We followed her directions and arrived at the place. The Adventurers' Guild looked the same as in the anime, though why do I faintly hear in the background Shang Tsung saying, "It has begun... finally."
