There is even a male counterpart for the protagonist who is a fallen noble ,well his story takes place in the neighboring country.

The reason Leon Bardwin is famous is because of his pitiful back story.

In the extra scenes it was revealed that Leon was in love with the villainess and was ready to do anything for her.

It was also the reason he could not be captured even though his appearance was on par with male leads.

Leon knew that the girl he loved was engaged to the crown prince and that there was no way he had a chance but still decided to support her although he didn't agree with her methods. 

He pledged himself as the knight to the villainess.

He dutifully followed all her commands even if it meant going against his morals and principles.

There are even cut scenes showing him dissuaded the villainess from her rash actions.

 The original Leon was quite smart but he had a big fault.

Sigh I didn't want to be such a sad character.

Ahhh the villainess has a really sad backstop as well.

The creators had said that they wanted to give a dilemma to the players as they were made to sympathize with the same characters they had to defeat.

The creator has even said there is a hidden scenario called the 'PERFECT SCENARIO' which is almost impossible to achieve where everyone is supposed to be happy.

This world also has magic.

Hmm I hope I can get a happy life again

Damn I feel like crying remembering my old family.

Are all isekai mcs depressed loners with bad families that they do not miss their families and friends?

Damn I don't even feel like making a harem.

I feel tried I should lie down for a while.

It is a lot to take in.
