Chapter 1476: To The Inner Tribe

Su Mo shut his eyes as he sat at the ninth level of the Pagoda and tried to understand the Devouring Ultimacy.

He felt at peace in the Pagoda and his mind was empty. He was able to have a better understanding and he had also recovered well from the injury that he had suffered on his Spiritual Soul and mental strength.

Su Mo had been recovering gradually from his Spiritual Soul and mental strength wounds but he still required a long period of time to have a complete recovery.

Although his Spiritual Soul and mental strength had been injured, his physical strength had not been affected.

Su Mo activated the Devouring Fighting Soul to sense the mysterious devouring power and as he continued to ponder on the Devouring Ultimacy, he gained a deeper understanding of it.

Time passed quickly as Su Mo spent his time on cultivation. After about half a month, Su Mo had reached the second level of the Devouring Ultimacy.

When Su Mo’s Devouring Ultimacy advanced in level, it would help him greatly. Every advancement would increase his devouring power when he displayed his Devouring Fighting Soul.

The Devouring Fighting Soul was his base and it had helped him become more powerful. As long as his devouring power was mighty enough, his combat strength would be greatly enhanced.

For the Fight meet, Su Mo did not even activate his Devouring Fighting Soul. If he had done so, all the gifted geniuses from the six forces would not be able to take him on for even one round.

Su Mo continued to ponder on the Devouring Ultimacy but it became more difficult and took him a longer time to understand at the later stage.

One month passed by in the blink of an eye. Su Mo slowly opened his eyes and his Devouring Ultimacy had reached the Complete Rank 2 stage. Although it was still not perfect, it was time for him to end cultivation.

Yan Lantian and Yang Tiancheng, who were nearby, had ended their cultivation as time was up for them as well.

The few of them stood up and left the Pagoda for the Tribe Quarters to collect their reward.

“Ha!” Yang Tiancheng snorted and curled up his lips to sneer at Su Mo when he walked past him.

When Su Mo saw his behavior, he rubbed his nose and felt that Yang Tiancheng had not learnt his lesson!

He then left the place and headed for the Tribe Quarters. The Tribe Quarters was where Sun Moon Tribe handled the affairs of the Tribe and it was located at the centre.

Su Mo followed behind Yang Tiancheng and Yan Lantian and they were soon at the Tribe Quarters.

The Tribe Quarters was a simple and majestic mansion and it was bustling with people.

Su Mo and the rest received their rewards at a hall in the Tribe Quarters.

As Su Mo had obtained the number one position in the Fight meet, he had received an Upper Honorable Martial Arts Technique and an Upper Honorable Weapon.

After collecting their rewards, Yan Lantian and Yang Tiancheng left Sun Moon Tribe and headed back to their respective tribes.

Su Mo stayed on and went back to the mansion meant for Path Sect as he still had one more reward to collect. He could receive a one-off guidance from the Empty God Realm master.

Before Su Mo had left the Tribe Quarters, the deacon had informed him to go back to the mansion and wait to be called on to receive the guidance from the Empty God Realm master.

Su Mo had no choice but to follow the instructions.

The mansion for Path Sect was empty as all the disciples and elders from Path Sect had returned home.

After Su Mo went back to the mansion, he took out the rewards that he had received from the Tribe Quarters.

He had not checked on the rewards earlier and he could now take a good look at the Upper Honorable Martial Arts Technique and the Upper Honorable Weapon.

Su Mo was allowed to select his own weapon and he had chosen a longsword.

The sword was grey in color and it was around four feet long. It looked ancient and ordinary and there was no radiance in it. It looked like a stone sword.

If Su Mo had not known that the sword was an Upper Honorable Weapon, he would have thought that it was an ordinary sword as there was nothing special about it.

He held the long sword in his hand and infused his Dark Force into it.

Suddenly, a sharp sword radiance shot up from the long sword and it pierced through the ceiling, up into the sky.

The sword radiance was condensed and sharp and it had a horrifying aura.

“This is a good sword!” Su Mo’s eyes lit up and he was impressed by it. The sword was much more powerful than the one that he had.

Apparently, they were of a different grade.

With this sword, his strength could be enhanced up to 30 percent.

Although it might not seem like a lot given his cultivation, it made a great difference to his strength.

If Su Mo’s opponent was on par with him and if Su Mo’s strength were to suddenly increase by another 30 percent, he might not be able to kill his opponent instantly but he could easily defeat him.

Su Mo then took out a Jade Slip which contained the Upper Honorable Martial Arts Technique.

As Su Mo was a swordsman, he had been awarded with a martial arts technique that complemented his cultivation. Thus, he had received an Upper Honorable Swordplay.

Su Mo triggered his thoughts and spent a few hours reading through the Jade Slip.

A few hours later, he then withdrew his thoughts and broke into a smile.

The Swordplay that was recorded in the Jade Slip was known as the Seven Calamities Swordplay. It belonged to the Upper Honorable grade and it was mysterious and powerful.

There were seven strokes in the Swordplay and the attacks were like calamities. Every stroke represented one calamity and it was powerful.

“Great!” Su Mo nodded. He was pleased with the Swordplay as it went well with his current cultivation.

He had not cultivated his martial art technique for a long time. He seldom used the martial art technique that he had previously cultivated as it was not powerful.

However, he could use the martial art technique that he had just obtained for a long period of time. He would have to spend some time to cultivate it though as it was not easy to master.

After a while, Su Mo stowed the sword and the Jade Slip away. It was not an appropriate time for him to work on his cultivation at the moment. He would work on it after he returned to Path Sect.

He would soon be able to receive guidance from the Empty God Realm maser and he took it seriously.

The Empty God Realm was the highest realm among the stars. It had been rumored that the Empty God Realm masters could travel through the void and move around the universe. They lived a long life and were considered semi-deities.

Su Mo had never met an Empty God Realm master before and he was curious about them. Soon, he would have the opportunity to meet one.

He started to meditate and condense his Dark Force in order to build up his foundation.

Time passed by quickly. Three days later, an elder robed in brown came to the mansion to look for Su Mo.

The elder was the same one who was in charge of the sparring at the Fight meet.

“Su Mo, follow me to the Inner Tribe to receive guidance from the Grand Elder!” The elder robed in brown said.

“Yes!” Su Mo said and nodded.

“Good. Let’s go!” The elder called out to Su Mo and brought him out of the mansion toward Sun Moon Inner Tribe.
