Su Mo first eliminated Second Princess from his selection. This wasn’t because she was a lady but because she had made a good impression on him, a far better impression than the First Prince and Zhu Tong gave im.
As such, Su Mo was choosing between the First Prince, Third Prince, Zhu Tong and Xu Feng.
The person that he was most itching to challenge was the First Prince. After all, Su Mo had wanted to challenge the First Prince at the birthday banquet but the First Prince had rejected him by saying he didn’t have the qualifications to do so.
Su Mo was not going to rush to take action. Instead, he would observe the strength of the others. Although his current strength was definitely stronger than the average Rank 9 Martial Honorable’s, he would not underestimate his opponents.
In the subsequent moments, a continuous stream of challengers emerged from the Dragon Pillar platform. Xu Feng, Zhu Tong, Second Princess and the Third Prince constantly accepted challenges from contestants.
However, the four of them were strong and they could virtually defeat all their opponents with a single strike. No one was a match for them.
The Second Princess seemed stronger than the Third Prince. With a casual flip of her palm, a palm print as strong as a mountain pushed off each of her opponents.
Numerous contestants faced downfall after downfall.
However, until now, no one had challenged the First Prince. The First Prince was publicly known as the strongest martial artist in the younger generation and no one would seek their own demise by challenging him.
Shoosh!
Right at that moment, a tall, muscular figure swooped down onto the Dragon Pillar that Zhu Tong was on.
As the crowd squinted to get a closer look at this figure, their hearts jumped in surprise. Finally, a battle between experts was going to occur. The person who challenged Zhu Tong was the Red Dragon Camp’s Second Platoon Leader, Ren Tianya.
Su Mo’s interest was also piqued. Ren Tianya had been his Platoon Leader previously and he wondered how strong Ren Tianya was.
Based on cultivation alone, Ren Tianya’s would be stronger than Zhu Tong. Ren Tianya’s cultivation rank was at the later stages of the Rank 9 Martial Honorable Realm and it was close to the peak of the Rank 9 Martial Honorable Realm.
“Zhu Tong, let’s battle!” The burly Ren Tianya stared at Zhu Tong with a stern face.
He chose Zhu Tong after careful consideration. It wasn’t wise of him to challenge any of the princes or the princess and hence he could only challenge either Zhu Tong or Xu Feng.
He knew Xu Feng’s strength as Xu Feng was in the same Red Dragon Camp as him. Although he did think that he was stronger than Xu Feng, defeating him would be a tough process and so he took the risk of challenging Zhu Tong.
“Ren Tianya, I have already surpassed your strength.” Zhu Tong maintained a serious expression but his eyes showed his confidence.
If it was a few months earlier, he definitely wouldn’t have been a match for Ren Tianya. However, he was no longer afraid of Ren Tianya now.
“Defeat!” Ren Tianya shouted out as silver gloves appeared on both his fists.
Thick aura surged out of Ren Tianya’s body and spread through the empty space.
On the other hand, Zhu Tong smirked and a red longspear appeared in his hand
with a brilliant flash of light.
“True Sun Fire Snake!” Zhu Tong yelled and attacked first as he pierced his longspear out.
Fire blazed and raged along the red longspear and instantly turned into three 10,000 foot long fire snakes that shot towards Ren Tianya.
These 3 fire snakes were fierce and strong. A massive fire-based energy enhanced the fire Ultimacy and heated the air.
It was the same attack that he had used at the Second Princess’ birthday banquet that was more than ten times weaker than Su Mo’s attack back then.
“Break!”
Ren Tianya remained relaxed and calm as he punched his fist forward and a blinding purple Fist Radiance shone brightly with purple light as it tore through the sky and broke apart the Empty Space. Instantly, the 2 attacks collided against each other.
An earthshaking explosion occurred as strong shock wave swept through the air.
However, the Dragon Pillar seemed to be able to absorb shock waves and hence, the shock waves from the collision did not sweep out too far and was controlled within a radius of a few kilometers.

In the next few moments, Zhu Tong began a crazy downpour of attacks that flooded the entire Dragon Pillar with fire blazes due to the dancing of his fire snakes around the pillar.
Terrifying fire-based energy burned all of the empty space within a kilometer of him into ashes.
However, Ren Tianya was also very strong and he was as still and calm as a large mountain. His full body brimmed with purple light as bright Fist Radiance destroyed everything that attacked him.
The two exchanged blows unstoppably as layers upon layers of aura and shock waves swept through the sky. Explosions sounded like fireworks, shaking the space.
No one was challenging on the other 4 Dragon Pillars as everyone stared at the ongoing battle and temporarily stopped their fighting.
The king nodded his head approvingly. The two of them were strong and they should be considered above the average Rank 9 Martial Honorable.
Ren Tianya and Zhu Tong’s battle against one another stretched on for 15 minutes and then to 30 minutes before the winner finally emerged.
Ren Tianya lost in the end and he was thrown a few hundred meters out of the Dragon Pillar platform.
Zhu Tong stood tall and domineering after he won and scanned the crowd, daring anyone to challenge him.
Everyone sighed inwardly. Even the Rank 9 Martial Honorable Ren Tianya was unable to get the Dragon Pillar for himself. Their hopes were dashed.
Su Mo’s eyes narrowed and he formed a resolution in his heart as he observed the match between the two.
On the other hand, a helpless flash of light crossed Gu Tianyi’s eyes as he stood beside Su Mo. Ren Tianya had lost, but he still had a chance to challenge the others.
Shoosh!
The battle between Ren TIanya and Zhu Tong was a watershed and another Rank 9 Martial Honorable stepped forward onto a platform to challenge Xu Feng.
This Rank 9 Martial Honorable was a thin young man and he was one of the disciples of the powerful families in the Imperial Ancestor Court Factin.
“Xu Feng, it is time to give up your place!” The young man looked a Xu Feng and gripped the long sword that glowed with dark light.
“You will lose!” Xu Feng confidently said as golden light flashed in his hand and a golden war sabre appeared that carried a light sense of sacred aura to it.
“Sacred Weapon!” The young man’s eyes narrowed before his face darkened.
He had not expected that Xu Feng would have a Sacred Weapon.
Everyone was taken aback by what they saw. If Xu Feng had a Sacred Weapon, his strength would be increased 1 to 2 times.
“Defeat!” Xu Feng yelled out madly as he flew up and immediately attacked. With a heavy strike of his sabre, a large, sharp golden Sabre Qi that was like lightning from the nine heavens split the sky and whipped down onto the platform.
The skinny young man hastily avoided the sabre strike just in the nick of time.
Xu Feng attacked a second time and the skinny young man retreated back a few dozen meters. With the third strike, the young man had no choice but to leap off the Dragon Pillar platform.
With the Sacred Weapon in his hand, Xu Feng easily obtained victory and, at that moment, the 5 experts on the 5 Dragon Pillars were unmatched and no one appeared to be able to stand up to them.
This made many who wanted to be selected for the Sky Dragon Contest feel helpless. The 5 people on the Dragon Pillars were too strong and there was no way one could attain victory over them. Perhaps the few other Rank 9 Martial Honorables who had yet to challenge would still have some hope.
A few stares fell on Su Mo. Why had the famous godly genius of the Ancientspirit Galaxy still not attacked?
Was he not confident of winning?
Or was Su Mo not as strong as the rumors said?
“Su Mo, you have all seen their strengths. Aside from my First Brother, who do you want to challenge?” Gu Tianyi couldn’t help asking after seeing Su Mo’s inaction.
The First Prince was simply too strong and he could not be a candidate to challenge. As such, it would be best to challenge the other 4 contestants.
In actual fact, Gu Tianyi wasn’t too confident in Su Mo. Although he knew that Su Mo had exceptional strength, the difference between 3 ranks was great and he didn’t believe that Su Mo could win if he didn’t see it with his own two eyes.
Su Mo only smiled lightly upon hearing Gu Tianyi’s words. He did not reply to Gu Tianyi and decided to use his actions to answer Gu Tianyi’s question.
With that, he raised his leg and stepped into the empty air. Shooting across a few dozen meters, he headed towards a Dragon Pillar.
