Inside the cultivation room, Su Mo closed the doors and entered the Bangle Space with a mental thought.
He took out the craftsman cauldron and a large mass of cultivation materials as he began to craft the Natal Spiritual Swords.
He could not delay crafting the Natal Spiritual Swords any longer as it required his Blood Essence to be constructed.
Once he had crafted a large amount of weapons, he would also use a large amount of Blood Essence and this would make him very weak.
As such, he had to leave himself a period of recovery.
The crafting of the Natal Spiritual Swords to Su Mo was a comfortable task once he had practiced it long enough. With everything prepared, he began to use the blacksmith hammer to craft everything.
Time passed by slowly, and one after another, Natal Spiritual Swords were crafted.
2 days later, Su Mo took a break after he had crafted 30 Natal Spiritual Swords.
His face was pale after using a large amount of Blood Essence and he needed a few days to recover.
At that point, his mind jerked and he received a message from Su Yi through their mind link.
“Father-in-law really doesn’t mind spending!” Su Mo shook his head helplessly as he was informed by Su Yi of Emperor Shi’s actions.
Emperor Shi was prepared to use half of the wealth of the Firmament Palace to bet on Su Mo winning the Sky Dragon Contest.
Half of the wealth of the Firmament Palace was an immense sum. After all, Su Mo had given a large amount of resources to the Firmament Palace after he had devoured the few cities of the Sorcerer Tribe.
The higher-ups in Firmament Palace all supported Emperor Shi’s actions and no one opposed what he did.
In the Firmament Palace’s peoples opinion, Su Mo would definitely win the contest and they had absolute trust in him to do so.
This trust was a blind trust, built upon their long relationship. Despite Su Mo’s current cultivation rank falling short of his competitors’, they all believed that Su Mo would be able to win.
Su Mo laughed bitterly. He himself didn’t have the absolute confidence of winning but Emperor Shi fully trusted him.
However, he did not stop Emperor Shi’s actions. After all, although he had bet a large amount of wealth, the wealth was stolen from others and Su Mo was willing to part with it.
In case he really won the Sky Dragon Contest, Firmament Palace would be sustainable in the future.
If they won a betting ratio of 20 to 1, the wealth they would receive would be more than enough for the Firmament Palace’s future activities.
However, to be safe, Su Mo also informed Su Yi to instruct Emperor Shi not to bet all the wealth on one merchant and to split the bet up with other merchant houses.
If Su Mo really won the contest, a single merchant house might not be able to pay the winnings out.
With that settled, Su Mo rested for two days before he continued crafting the Natal Spiritual Swords.
This cycle continued as he continuously crafted the Natal Spiritual Swords and once his Blood Essence was depleted, he would rest for 2 days.
Once he had completed crafting all 600 Natal Spiritual Swords, 2 months had already passed by.
Su Mo’s face was pale as he sat cross-legged on the floor. He had used too much Blood Essence.
Typically, one would craft such a large amount of Natal Spiritual Swords over a long period of time, not craft it all in one shot like him.
“I have actually used so much time!” Su Mo sighed helplessly. After using so much time, it would be virtually impossible for him to raise his cultivation rank to the Rank 8 Martial Honorable Realm before the Sky Dragon Contest started.
However, he didn’t regret his actions. Even if he did not take such a long time to craft the Natal Spiritual Swords, raising his rank to the Rank 8 Martial Honorable Realm was a hard task.

Shoosh shoosh shoosh!!!
With a mental thought, numerous rays of light flashed before his eyes as the Natal Spiritual Swords appeared in a huge mass and danced about in the sky like a long Spiritual Sword Dragon.
These were all Natal Spiritual Sword and in addition to the Natal Spiritual Swords that he had previously, he had a total of 722 swords.
Using more than 700 Natal Spiritual Sword at once was no problem for him.
“I’d better raise my cultivation rank as much as I can!”
Su Mo sighed and with a mental thought, he channeled all the Natal Spiritual Swords back to his mind.
Thereafter, he entered the Bangle Space and began his cultivation.
Time flew by and days passed continuously.
Two months later, Su Mo slowly opened his eyes.
“About there!” Su Mo muttered to himself. He waved his hand and an innumerable sum of Spiritual Crystals appeared in front of him.
Su Mo released the Devouring Fighting Soul and devoured all the Spiritual Crystals in front of him to break through to the Rank 7 Martial Honorable Realm.
The increase in power once he was a Rank 7 Martial Honorable would be a huge leap for Su Mo. Traversing from Rank 6 to Rank 7 Realm was a large step as it was like a stepping stone from the middle to the upper ranks of the Martial Honorable Realm.
Aura surged thickly from Su Mo’s body as he sat cross-legged on the floor. As though they were kilometer-wide waves, they crashed about the Bangle Space.
Since he had just broken through, he was unable to fully control the aura in his body.
A few moments later, he slowly soothed the aura pouring out of his body.
“I should have about 3 months left before the Sky Dragon Contest!” Su Mo opened his eyes and uttered in a deep voice.
It was almost an impossible task for him to break through to the Rank 8 Martial Honorable Realm in 3 months. As such, he could only raise his overall power through other methods.
These include his Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array, the Chaotic Energy and the Seven Calamities Swordplay.
In the following moments, Su Mo did not leave the Bangle Space and he gave a mental thought and 5 elemental Dark Forces appeared on each of his 5 fingertips as he began to merge the Chaotic Energy.
The rise in his cultivation rank also increased his mental strength and control considerably. As such, his merging of the Chaotic Energy would be stronger than it was before.
Vroom! Broom! Crash!
As he merged the Dark Force, Chaotic Energy continuously crumbled from his many attempts. After 10 days and more than 10,000 tries, Su Mo finally managed to stabilize the Chaotic Energy.
Previously, the time that his Chaotic Energy was stable after merging would barely reach a single breath of time. However, he could now control if for about 1 and a half breaths.
This duration was enough for him to finish attacking and it was also enough for him to use it in his martial skills.
Ding~
With a mental thought, Chaotic Energy formed in Su Mo’s palm.
“It is a few times stronger!”
Su Mo’s eyes brightened in satisfaction as he surveyed the aura of the Chaotic Energy. It was now a few times stronger than when he had used it at the shortlisting contest previously.
The reason why it was stronger was firstly because the rise in his cultivation rank had solidified his Dark Force and secondly because it was more stable. As such, the strength of his Chaotic Energy could increase significantly.
With the Chaotic Energy, Su Mo’s confidence was boosted. Although he didn’t know the exact strength of Wu Qiong, Xue Juntian or the other godly talents, they couldn’t be that exceptional.
“I shall train the Natal Spiritual Sword Array and the Seven Calamities Swordplay next!” With glowing, excited eyes, Su Mo thought to himself. This could increase his overall strength.
