“Steward Su, I never know you to be that powerful. You are amazing!”
Master Cui looked impressed. He would not have believed it if not for the fact that the top powers from Sky-sea Pavilion had witnessed Su Mo’s power.
It sounded absurd.
However, he had to accept it since the facts were before him.
Master Cui was extremely respectful toward Su Mo. He treated Su Mo with greater respect than Hu Fu, the Vice Clan Leader of the Weaponry Chamber.
Su Mo was speechless when he saw Master Cui’s behavior. He was good at currying favor.
Master Cui continued and said, “Steward Su, it’s thanks to you that I’ve become an Imperial-grade craftsman. I have learned the craft from you.”
“Oh? Have you become an Imperial-grade craftsman?” Su Mo was surprised when he heard what Master Cui had said.
He did not impart much knowledge of the craft to Master Cui but Master Cui had been promoted within a few months!
“That’s right! I can have a promotion because of Steward Su!” Master Cui was on cloud nine and it was apparent that he felt a sense of achievement.
As an Imperial-grade craftsman, he would be highly esteemed wherever he went.
He had also enjoyed a higher position in Sky-sea Pavilion as a result of that.
Although Master Cui had become an Imperial-grade craftsman, he dared not look down on Su Mo. He knew that Su Mo’s craftsmanship was profound.
“That’s good. Continue to work hard on it!” Su Mo nodded. After he had made that comment, he walked toward the staircase and ignored Maser Cui.
“Steward Su, are you looking for the Vice Clan Leader? Let me bring you to him!” Master Cui was helpful. He walked to the front hastily and led the way.
Su Mo was speechless, but he did not turn Master Cui down since it was a kind gesture.
As Master Cui was leading the way, he glanced at Xi’er, who was walking beside Su Mo. He was wondering to himself where Su Mo had found such a beautiful lady!
Soon, the three of them got to Vice Clan Leader Hu’s room.
Vice Clan Leader Hu was aware that Su Mo had arrived and he welcomed him warmly.
“Haha! Su Mo, I’ve been waiting for you!” Vice Clan Leader Hu said and he laughed heartily.
“Greetings, Elder Hu!” Su Mo cupped his fist to Vice Clan Leader Hu.
“Greetings, Elder Hu!” Xi’er greeted Vice Clan Leader Hu as well.
“Good! Good! Good! Su Mo, Miss Di, please come in!” Vice Clan Leader Hu was in a good mood and he invited Su Mo and Xi’er into his room.
“You may leave!” Vice Clan Leader Hu said as he waved his hand at Master Cui.
“Yes, Vice Clan Leader!” Master Cui replied. He realized that the lady beside Su Mo was Lan Xi, the Holy Maiden of Emperor Xuan Palace!
In the room, Vice Clan Leader Hu sat down with Su Mo and Xi’er, in a formal setting.
“Vice Clan Leader Hu, I’m here to ask you for a favor.” Su Mo did not beat around the bush and he went straight to the point.
“Oh?”
Vice Clan Leader Hu was elated when he heard what Su Mo had said and he responded, saying, “Su Mo, go ahead and tell me about it. As long as it is within my abilities, I will definitely help you!”
Vice Clan Leader Hu looked serious. He was happy that Su Mo had approached him as he had been raking his mind as to how he could have a better relationship with Su Mo!
Since Su Mo had asked him for help, he would owe him a favor. In the future, he could ask Su Mo to help him back.
Su Mo nodded. After pondering for a while, he said, “I would like to ask Vice Clan Leader to refine a precious item for me.”

“What is it?” Vice Clan Leader Hu asked curiously. He knew Su Mo would not ask him to refine any ordinary item.
Su Mo was a craftsman and he had a profound knowledge of craftsmanship. Although he might not be skillful, he was still good at it.
Thus, he believed that Su Mo must have wanted him to refine some unique items.
Su Mo took out a blank Jade Slip from his storage ring and placed it on his forehead to scan through his mind.
After he had copied it, he handed the Jade Slip over to Vice Clan Leader Hu.
“Elder Hu, please take a look!” Su Mo said.
Vice Clan Leader Hu took the Jade Slip and looked into it. After he had seen the contents, he gasped.
“Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin!” Vice Clan Leader Hu shouted in amazement.
“That’s right!”
Su Mo nodded and said, “This Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin is a fake Imperial instrument, but I need it to be as authentic as the original. I hope you can help me with it!”
The Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin was a special coffin. Not only can it preserve one’s body, it can help someone who had been injured to recover and nourish his Spiritual Soul.
Thus, Su Mo wanted Vice Clan Leader Hu to refine a Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin for him to preserve Qian Xunyue’s body with.
With the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin, Qian Xunyue’s body would not rot and her Spiritual consciousness would not disperse.
Su Mo was worried that Qian Xunyu could not hold on until he advanced to the Martial Emperor Realm and he had come up with the idea of refining the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin to preserve her.
However, Su Mo could not refine the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin and he had to ask Vice Clan Leader Hu to help him with it.
Vice Clan Leader Hu frowned and said, “The Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin requires someone skillful to do it. I’m afraid I can’t refine it!”
Vice Clan Leader Hu was unable to refine such a high-grade coffin, and even the Clan Leader might not be able to do so!
Su Mo said grimly, “Elder Hu, the details for refining the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin are recorded in the Jade Slip. I believe that given your experience and skills, you should have no problem refining it.”
“Su Mo, I believe you have a teacher. Why don’t you ask your teacher to help you refine it?”
Vice Clan Leader Hu asked curiously. He knew that Su Mo had a teacher who was an Imperial-grade craftsman. Su Mo should have asked his teacher to help him since the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin was a high-grade treasure.
“This… my teacher is traveling around the world and I have no choice but to ask you for help!” Su Mo looked embarrassed. He had not learnt the craft from any teacher and he had to tell a lie.
Vice Clan Leader Hu took a deep breath. He nodded and said, “Let me try it out!”
Vice Clan Leader Hu did not have much confidence. It was not a small matter, refining an Imperial instrument. Although he was an Upper Imperial-grade craftsman and the method was clearly stated, it was difficult to refine.
“Elder Hu, as long as you are willing to help me refine the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin, I will reward you handsomely!”
Su Mo commented. Since he needed Vice Clan Leader Hu’s help, he had to give him some rewards to motivate him.
True enough, Vice Clan Leader Hu’s eyes lit up when he heard what Su Mo had said.
“Alright! Su Mo, I shall ask our Clan Leader for help. The two of us will help you refine the coffin!” Vice Clan Leader Hu assured Su Mo.
Su Mo was elated when he heard what Vice Clan Leader Hu had said and he cupped his fist to thank him, saying, “Thank you, Elder Hu!”
“Haha! Su Mo, you are welcome! Let’s keep in touch more often in the future!” Vice Clan Leader said with a smile.
“Sure!”
Su Mo replied with a smile and asked, “Elder Hu, do you have the materials for refining the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin?”
Vice Clan Leader Hu replied, “I took note of the materials earlier. Although a lot of materials are required, we have most of them in Sky-sea Pavilion. You don’t have to worry about them!”
“That’s great!” Su Mo nodded.
