“It’s my first time marrying, ever, so please do take care of me~”

…Eh?

Before elation, before astonishment, before even being able to work out the meaning of the words the human has produced in a human manner——

He feels like he has lost the ability to sense all emotions. He has become an ascetic, without happiness or anger,

He is empty.

Murong Jihua feels like his soul has been dislodged from his body entirely——Breaking through the gaps of spacetime, surging into the endless expanse of stars, exploring all the corners of this unscientific, magical world where gravity does not exist…

Who am I? Where am I?

Oh, my! I shall be Gone with the Wind!

——The moon is bright with few stars; the black doves fly south; they encircle the tree three times, before rising to meet the sun, shoulder to shoulder.

What does it feel like being smacked unconscious by words?

It’s like dying and losing consciousness – when his senses return, Murong Jihua is already standing in the hall of the cathedral with his groom.

Fine. Wedding, then, it is.

Looking up, a vibrant rainbow of red, orange, yellow, green, grue, blue and purple (TL: The Chinese rainbow-seven)——The elegant, brilliant crystalline chandelier casts rays of love surrounding the hanging lights of the cathedral, hanging off a ceiling so high the top cannot be seen;

Looking down, a dizzying rainbow of red, orange, yellow, green, grue, blue and purple——People he knew, people he didn’t; familiar, not familiar. All dressed formally, arranged in neat rows surrounding the hall;

Looking around, a crackling rainbow of red, orange, yellow, green, grue, blue and purple——Countless flashes and cameras are stuffing themselves into Murong Jihua’s blanking out face, shooting like mad.

It feels weird,

Strangely unreal.

Murong Jihua raises his hand to pinch his own chin——It hurts.

He looks down to see that he is already in a perfectly fitted white gown, looking like a royal aristocrat from the old days of Earth’s medieval era in the West.

The rose pinned to his chest is a blue that is almost suffocatingly vivid.

Watching this blue, his eyes wet.

“What are you blanking out for? It’s your turn.”

——The clear, crisp male voice, that is so deeply entrenched in the most valuable corners in his heart,

Like a fresh rose,

A resplendently blue rose.

Murong Jihua tilts his head to the side, only to crash his gaze right into the grey ocean of stars.

His lover——Or rather, his husband, is like a perfect statue of ivory. That dense fog of white is making even his slightly more coloured lips dreamy.

Murong Jihua’s eyes move as he quietly asks, “for… what?”

He can see He Jünle furrow his brow, slightly unpleased.

Then, the priest, standing a little ways away from the two, clears his throat awkwardly, and repeats his question, “… then, Mr Murong, do you agree?”

???

Murong Jihua suddenly recalls,

Oh, right, he’s getting married!

With whom?

A mysterious voice suddenly emerges from the bottom of his heart, whispering to him, a name, that he will never forget his entire life——

Murong Jihua, realising that this is all real, somehow has the fog underneath his eyes all disappear, like how He Jünle has dedicated the entirety of the stars beneath his eyes to him.

This all-too-late emotional influx is so strong, like a paper way too thin, unable to cope with the amount of heavy paint splattered on, easily tears apart the façade that he has been wearing this whole time. Murong Jihua’s face is suddenly almost burning up like mad, and staggeringly, stutteringly, he asks,

“M-m-m-m-me???”

He Jünle, who watched the whole session of Murong Jihua blanking out, would almost smile in anger on this most pleasant of days, asking instead, “who else am I actually getting married to, then?”

The priest repeats his entire shtick, “Murong Jihua, are you willing to take He Jünle to be your wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; and thereto pledge him your faith…

——till death do you part?”

He Jünle sighs in his mind; the CEO’s brain is finally going to work properly now, isn’t it…

As it stands, no, actually.

“I!”

Murong Jihua’s tongue brushes past his lower teeth; his brain tells him he should firmly, gently, smilingly, as-romantic-as-the-entire-milky-wayingly declare——’I do,’

Yet his tongue tells him,

No you don’t.

So, our Murong Jihua, way too anxious for his own good, just blasts out, “I can I’m good problem I promise the mission will be done please do not worry, my liege!!! Not just a wedding I can do it my whole life I really can!!!”

It feels like time froze.

He Jünle’s face wouldn’t blush, heart wouldn’t skip, and he even feels like laughing, going, “… I knew it, the dummy.”

Princess Elizabeth, her face fully flushed, almost looking like she has ‘Mu-dage is amazing’ on her lifeless face yells out, “as expected of Mu-dage! The owner of the genes most perfecto! Even the respuesta to the wedding vows are tan tan tan unorthodox! ¡Ah voy a admirar a ti para siempre!” (TL: “Oh I will be your fan forever!”)

Su Xiaomo is hugging her younger brother, yelling out in happiness a little, with her monstrously big, watery eyes blinking and her face blushing;

The old Director of the hospital merely looks uncomfortable to be here, thinking about how he must have this newly wed couple dragged to his hospital to get their brains checked out if he has time.

Butler Cui and Sophia… Never mind them; they’re probably feeling the same way one does if their planted bok choy has been chomped on by a pig.

Although Mr He is way handsomer than a pig.

The priest seems equally astonished, but his excellent career training allows him to immediately adjust his trembling fingertips, as he adjusts his glasses to continue,

“He Jünle, Murong Jihua, I have bore witness to your vows for each other, and merrily, I am able to pronounce you husband and husband to everyone present… Now, the groom may kiss the groom.”

When everyone is looking at the couple approaching each other at the same time, they can’t help but all notice a question in their minds,

‘They’re both the groom???’

Murong Jihua has also suddenly realised, why it was all white when he was looking at He Jünle just now…

Obviously it’s not because he suddenly has cataracts…

It’s because he still has a snowy white veil from his head going all the way down to his shoulders…

Basically, he’s dressed as the bride…

“…”

“…”

Murong Jihua “??? Why am I dressed as the bride?!”

He Jünle “??? Why would you think you’re not the bride?!”

“I thought I was the top?!”

“??? Did you actually care about that?”

“It’s not whether I care or not, but but but it relates to my pride as a man and my knowledge of love!”

“An hour ago I asked whether you want to be dressed as the bride and to blink if you want to, didn’t you blink? What are you going back on your words for now?”

Right.

He Jünle suddenly pauses.

He really would always concede to him.

“Shut up,” He Jünle’s head is throbbing already, so he just flips open Murong Jihua’s head… veil, and squeezes in.

Then——He grabs onto the man’s collar, and, with a slight angle off from his face——

Plants him a kiss with sweet aromas.

It’s not exactly passionate or loving, but it’s enough to stop his blabbering mouth.

“Happy 0th anniversary,” Murong Jihua hears, seeing He Jünle’s curled features, as he continues, “do take care of me for the rest of our lives, my darling.”

From that day on, all TV stations were forced to show on loop the marriage certificate of this couple for three whole days and three whole nights.

Author’s notes:

The whole story!

Is over!

Ah, it’s my first one ever, I feel so proud (akimbo)

I’m inexperienced and the plot is messy and my writing is amateurish, but for all of you little angels to like it really did make my day. I’ll try to improve on all my deficiencies in the future, yup!

I thought about it, but some of the contents would be way too filler-ish in the main body… I’ll add some extras in time… Though irregularly.

Like the actual chat records between He Jünle and Xüeru~ Our Mr CEO is still too curious to let it go, of course!

And little halcyon days after marriage, mm?

Most importantly, other stuff from He Jünle’s perspective; the main body is seme-protag so I didn’t put much. That’s why… the extras are a long road ahead! Nothing to hurry about!

All in all, I want to say, I love you all!

Everyone here really are angels!!! Archangels!!!
