Chapter 28 – Three Heroes, The Garden Vow

Now three brave heroes have gathered in the Moriyama family.

Loyal warrior Dozle.

Master of Wisdom Haruko.

Knight Himeka.

Although the three were brought up differently, their love for Ichiro was no different, and here they were about to make a firm pledge to him.

In the original plan, Haruko’s mind had an image of something like this.

Yes, Haruko is a junior high school student.

That’s the age of the young.

But what actually happened?

Himeka arrived at the Moriyama residence 30 minutes before the appointment.

Since Ichiro had previously arrived at the Urushibara residence 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival, it was an unspoken rule in Himeka to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time as well.

She called with a ding-dong on the intercom at the gate.

Then, from the garden, Dozle’s voice answered.

Woof!

At the same time, Haruko also responded and walked out the front door.

“Dozle! Come inside!”

After being invited into the gate, she greeted Dozle in the garden for a moment.

“Good morning, Dozle-kun. I’m sorry to bother you today.”

Dozle turned away.

At first glance, Himeka seems to be disliked, but it is much better than before when she used to be barked at and threatened.

Himeka entered through the front door and went up to the house.

Today is her second time at the Moriyama household.

She greeted the Moriyama parents in the living room, handed them a gift of gâteau chocolates (from Guy Lane, a high-end pastry shop) and was shown to Haruko’s room.

Ichiro seems to have locked himself in his room and has not shown his face so far.

“I-I-Is M-M-Moriyama-k-kyun~ in…his room?”

“What’s wrong, Himeka-san!? Why are you so flustered?”

“Um, well, so… When I thought Moriyama-kun was in the room next door… My heart started pounding…”

“Eh? After all this time? You guys have held hands and hugged each other, haven’t you?”

“Well, yes, but! But you see… When I thought that I might be able to enter Moriyama-kun’s room today, I…”

“Haa~, that’s right. After this, I’m thinking of starting a ‘Crash the room next door and start a study session.’ Of course, with our study kits.”

“That’s right! We can go into Moriyama-kun’s room, right! Ufufufu, what should I do~, does this outfit look weird? My hair doesn’t look strange, does it?”

Finally, Haruko realized.

Himeka is a beautiful girl with a strong sense of justice and kindness, and is very friendly to her, even though she is younger than her.

But the reality is that she is a clumsy girl in love.

In case you were wondering, Himeka’s outfit today was a gray dress with a brown cardigan over it and black tights on her beautiful legs.

She has a very calm, grown-up, mature, older sister look.

No one would believe that this girl is a karate master.

That’s how beautiful Himeka is today.

“It’s okay. Himeka-san is so beautiful today. I’m sure my brother will be fascinated.”

“R-Really? Ehehe, Moriyama-kun, I wonder if you’ll like my outfit today♪”

Just why Haruko wondered… Himeka-san is a very cute girl in love, but she’s supposed to melt Onii-chan’s frozen heart in the first place, but isn’t she the one melting more than him?

She had noticed that Himeka liked her brother, but Haruko didn’t expect her to be so mellow.

The plan was for Dozle, Haruko and Himeka to form an ironclad guard, but Haruko wondered if Himeka would really be able to handle it.

“Himeka-san, just to confirm. Himeka-san, what would you do if my brother was in danger now?”

“Eh!? Something happened to Moriyama-kun!? Who’s going to attack him? I have to go help him right away! Haruko-chan, if we stay here, we’ll never make it in time! Let’s go to Moriyama-kun and help him right away!”

“Wait a minute! I’m speaking metaphorically! Your imagination is running wild!”

“I-Is that so? …Thinking Moriyama-kun was in trouble… I was about to repeat my blunder again… Hah~”

Hmm…

It seems that Himeka’s feelings for Ichiro are stronger than anyone else’s.

Then would that work?

“Himeka-san, why don’t we go to the garden now? Let’s take a breath of fresh air and calm down. We can go to my brother’s room afterwards.”

“Yes… Let’s do that… I came here today with a lot of energy, but I’ve been going round in circles.”

They went out to the garden and Haruko called Dozle from the kennel by fishing with jerky as treats.

Haruko was stroking Dozle’s back while he was engrossed in his jerky and creating a certain atmosphere.

Haruko asked Himeka.

“Himeka-san. Dozle and I both care for my brother. What about you, Himeka-san?”

Himeka answered immediately.

“I also care about Moriyama-kun as much as you two do!”

“Alright, I understand. I thought you would say that. Then the three of us here are here to protect my brother. From now on, we will work together to guard him well.”

“Osu!”

Haruko was startled.

Himeka suddenly replied with a karate shout.

Himeka reached fearfully for Dozle’s back, as if to imitate Haruko.

Then, when Himeka touched him with her hand, her expression brightened as if a sunflower had bloomed.

“Dozle let me touch him! It’s my first time! This is awesome!”

Thus, unbeknown to Ichiro, a vow was made by the three to protect him.
