At this moment, when everyone was discussing the young man and his deed, the young man heard a strange sound.

[DING!]

[Hundred Reincarnations Technique is complete!]

[You will now receive the Heavenly Merit and the rewards from the technique, please watch your past incarnations during the integration progress to get a clearer picture of yourself.]

Li Yao finally understood some things he was always curious about.

In fact, this wasn't Li Yao's first life, it was the hundredth. He couldn't remember his past lives or anything related to them, but he always somehow knew that he was reincarnated with a purpose.

Something inside him disappeared as he felt a sense of comfort.

'So that's why I was so heroic in all my lives!' he shouted inside his own head.

Just as the Hundred Reincarnations Technique was finished, he got certain memories back from his first incarnation.

'Wow, I really played the long game, didn't I?' he thought with amazement and a tinge of pride.

Many eras ago, Li Yao was the Emperor of Reincarnation who discovered and cultivated the Law of Reincarnation to the highest level he could, but in the end, he wasn't capable enough to break through his shackles of talent and hit his limit.

After a stagnation of thousands of years, in the end, he couldn't take it anymore and started working on a technique better than anything else.

''Hundred Reincarnation's Technique... It's nice to know that my naming sense was always shitty like this.'' he nodded himself, only he could come up with such an ordinary name for such an incredible technique.

''There are Mortal level techniques that are named like 'Heaven Splitting Fist'' or something, yet I-''

Hundred Reincarnations Technique was something he created by putting all of his achievements as the greatest Lord of Reincarnation. He discovered that reincarnation was deeply connected with Karma and even though it wasn't a guarantee, if you did good deeds during your life, you would have a much higher chance of reincarnating into a better life.

Hundred Reincarnations made sure that he would get a better life as long as he made heroic deeds during his lifetime, and each time he died the technique would record his unique abilities to his soul! When he finished his hundredth reincarnation he could brand anything he considered unique or valuable into himself without any problems!

Strange bloodlines, unique body constitutions, runes gained through ancient cultivation methods...

He would have it all!

That's why he was always a heroic person. Apart from doing good deeds in all of his remaining lifespan as the Emperor of Reincarnation, he also added a small adjustment to his soul. This small adjustment would make sure that he always performed good deeds to prepare for his hundredth and final reincarnation!

''I always felt like something was wrong with me, turns out it was because of this. I actually brainwashed myself to be a better person!''

He stopped his thoughts with a sigh as he felt like he was wasting his time.

'It's meaningless to think about it, let me see more about my past lives.'

''I'm ready, let's start.''

Seconds after his command, his mind got sucked into a life he lived before.

''In order to properly get those unique abilities and all my experiences from my past lives, I have to quickly relive them. It will be emotionally taxing, but nothing I can't handle.''

He grinned with anticipation and immersed himself in his memories.

--------

The rectangle above his physically dead body suddenly came to life as it started to show a young boy.

''His past life reflections started!'' said the Space Empress as her face flashed with a glint of interest.

Before he came, she thought the situation was hopeless and the best she could do was delay the Demon Emperor until the other Empresses came, but this young man somehow managed to defeat the famed Demon Emperor, albeit with some help from the Empresses, but it was still amazing.

She wondered what kind of man would this young man be in his past lives.

But before that-

''You're not actually planning to leave, are you?'' her cold but playful voice was heard only by the Ice Empress who was just about to leave.

Ice Empress just gave her a flat look as if to say 'Are you even asking?' and turned her back.

''Kid saved our lives. I'm sure you don't have anything better than this to do.''

''...Yes, I do have better things to do. Getting my sect back in order is number one.'' Ice Empress replied after a small pause.

''I'm sure they can handle themselves just fine, that's why you have a Vice-leader. Besides, it will be some interesting spectacle for sure. You can use some excitement given how boring you are.''

Ice Empress was an eccentric beauty with unparalleled talent who did everything with absolute perfection, men or 'exciting things' weren't a part of her life simply because she didn't need them. She didn't even care about the so called 'face' or things like that and saw such things below her.

''...I will stay.'' however, she still chose to stay.

Not out of some respect for the recently deceased young man, or the provocations from her peer, but for investigation.

'His past lives can reveal some treasures or sacred locations to the world, I might have a chance to obtain them before everyone else.'

She sent some brief instructions to her disciple on how to manage the sect while she was here, and got her undivided attention to the screen on the sky.

The screen started to flash with lights as the first projection started.

-----

The young boy looked to be in his early 10s and had a kind face that gave people reassurance just with it's existence. His light brown hair and soft features that made him rather cute were quite different from his newest reincarnation.

'This face... why does it look so similar to that person? No, that's nearly impossible.' Ice Empress's mind was clouded with her memories but she brushed them off to keep her attention on the screen.

The screen slowly got farther away from the boy to show him sitting next to a cute child around his age.

A girl with similarly soft features and height only up to 140 centimeters. Her black hair and and ice blue eyes seemed to shine with youthful vigor.

Screen got a little bit farther and a third person came into the picture, an old man with an amiable face. His long white beard and wrinkled skin showed that he was well beyond his 100 years birthday.

''From now on, she is your junior sister. You two take care of each other in the future, this old man never had children but I see you both as nothing less than the children I never had.''

Little girl's excitement was radiating from her eyes but her face remained calm as she stood up to properly introduce herself.

''This junior sister is called Li Jing. Pleased to meet you, senior brother.'' little girl said with a calm and enchanting smile.

''You can be casual with me little sister, just call me Wang.'' boy smiled similarly as an answer.

''Good, now little Li Jing is the second disciple of the DaoYu sect.'' the old man said his last words and left, leaving the two children alone.
