As the tombstone crumbled into nothingness, the ground behind the tombstone shook, revealing a stairway into the darkness.

I walked in right after the dust stopped falling.

Taking care not to dirty my clothes, I descended into the tomb.

Again, as I didn't have any light sources, I used my superior hearing instead, traversing through the catacombs.

Unlike the caverns in Noverus, the catacombs were unimaginably simple, allowing me to find my destination in a matter of minutes.

I stepped into what looked like an abandoned laboratory.

It was dimly lit by what looked like a vat in the middle of the room, but it's mirrored sides prevented me from seeing what was inside.

There were broken potion bottles lying all over the floor, a few bookcases had completely crumbled, scattering their books, and the whole room was covered in a layer of dust.

Not wanting to disturb the dust that hung over the whole room, I tiptoed carefully through the obstacles, before reaching the one bookcase that was still standing.

Taking a particular book off the bookshelf, called "A Guide to Feeding Dogs", I flipped to the last page and read what was written on it out loud.

"There will be a time when a lost one will inherit all."

As I recited this, the torches on the walls started lighting up, causing the room to dance in the flickering shadows.

Above the room, darkness started to gather into what looked like a shape of a human.

As the blob of darkness fully coalesced itself, you could see that it was actually only like a human from the waist up, tentacles filling up the space where its legs were supposed to be.

"Are you the one who dared awaken me from my slumber?"

His deep guttural voice caused the chamber to rumble.

'Ah man! That is such a cool voice.'

Of course, I stopped fan-boying over that voice after a few seconds, as I started reciting the lines that I knew would lead me to my goal.

"Yes I, a nobody, dared wake oh great one from his slumber in hopes of obtaining the great one's good will."

'Augghhhh!' I cringed so hard inside when reciting that.

"Oh hohohoho, you sure know how to flatter this old man."

"Of course I would, after all, you are the great Lich King!"

That's right, the apparition in front of me was indeed the form of the will that the Lich King had left behind. Of course, he wasn't actually a lich, but was called that as he had been the one to make the greatest advancements in black magic, further than anyone had gone before or since.

"You seem like a smart young lad. Because you are the first one to visit me in all these years, and even more, you have entertained my old body, I will grant you 3 wishes, as long as they are in my power."

This was exactly what I had been going for.

Originally, this cheat was supposed to be found by some random black magic researcher, who after getting his three wishes, had literally just secluded himself to experiment for the rest of his life, which I thought was a huge waste, leading to my decision to get this broken event before anyone else.

"As you are almighty and must surely already know, my soul does not belong in this body, and it will never belong, so could you please make me a new body with my specifications?"

"That is simple enough for me, but are you sure that this will be your first wish?"

"Yes, I'm sure."

"Then so be it."

I discussed with him the plans for my new body and what I would transfer from Akimitsu's body.

I decided to copy most of his brain, and physical body, so that I could continue to circle spiritual energy unconsciously. I left out all the brain parts that contained his memories, as I didn't need them anymore, and I also got rid of the part of his brain that had created his overwhelming hatred of this world.

I also transferred over all my arts, skills, and stigma's.

"Is that all?"

"Actually, a few more things. First, make it so that I have the perfect genes in terms of body growth except for the face, which you should make like this. Secondly, make the body's age to be around 13 years old. Finally, tamper with the genes so that I'm an albino."

I literally just threw in that last part because I thought that would make me look cool and I also wanted my appearance aside from my face to be memorable, as I already had a plan of what I was going to do, and the three things I just asked for were essential to the plan.

"I will now start the body making and soul transfer."

With a wave of his hand, all the dust in the room ignited, causing the room to look like the surface of the sun for a second.

He led me to the vat, wherein, I took off all my clothes and submerged my body into the brownish, bubbling, viscous, liquid.

As he closed the lid of the vat over me, a sweet aroma started invading my mind, causing it to grow cloudy as sleep finally overtook me.

...

When I woke up, I was lying on the floor of the laboratory in a hospital gown.

Not even waiting for me to collect myself, he asked,

"Would you like a mirror?"

Nodding my head, a full body mirror suddenly appeared in front of me.

Standing up, I examined my body.

This body looked exactly like Akimitsu's original one except for a few key differences.

First, my whole body was now white, paler than the moon. My hair and irises were the color of the snow in the bright morning after the snowfall, and my pupils were dark red, the color darker than blood, providing a stark contrast.

Second, I was now in the body of a 13 year old. This changed two important things, one being that I was now a little shorter, as although I now had the perfect genes, a healthy 13 year old could still not be as tall as a 16 year old, and two, my rank had gone down.

Obviously, I didn't know how much it had gone down, but I could feel that I was weaker than before, but this was necessary, if I didn't want to be kidnapped by the royal family when I tried to join the academy that is.

Third, my face now looked like a younger version of my face from my original world. A generic, unassuming face that was easily forgettable.

I had decided to do this as although all my other features stood out, my forgettable face was so effective that in my past life, my girlfriends that I had spent more than months with, each had almost thought that I was a molester every time they met me again after only a day of separation.

If you still couldn't guess why I did this, then you would understand later when I started participating in the "Academy" arc of the story.

"Now, what is your second wish, weird child?"

I guessed that he was calling me weird now because of the first wish that I had made, but that was understandable because that wish was so out of the ordinary.

"Allow me to be the successor to your unique form of black magic, Antimagic."

I watched as a smile slowly crawled up his face.

"You are an interesting fellow indeed, first with your weird request and now your knowledge of something I so secretly hid that even the empress didn't know."

"Well, as it is in my power to let you inherit it, then you can have it."

"But, do you know what you have to sacrifice to learn this magic?"

"Yes, I do."

"Hahahahaha, you are a great youngster indeed, and it does seem like you have more than enough necessary sacrifices to easily surpass me."

"So which ones would you like to give up?"

If you couldn't get it by now, we were talking about sacrificing my stigmas.

You see, to create antimagic in this world, you had to have two opposing stigmas from opposite sides.

So for example, you would need to sacrifice both the Earth and Gigantification (Pride) or the Fire and Skin Transformation (Greed) stigmas to create antimagic.

(A/N: You can refer back to the 0th chapter to see which stigmas oppose each other as they are in the right order.)

And because I had all the stigmas, that meant that I could sacrifice almost all of them to become the greatest antimagic user in history.

Of course I would keep at least one pair of stigmas so that I could use them and not seem suspicious when I went to the academy and so that I could have this powerful trump card.

"You can sacrifice all of them except for the Fire/Greed combination and the Water/Gluttony combination."

Immediately after these words left my mouth, I felt an indescribable, burning pain as most of the stigmas on my body lit up, as not even Concealment (SS) could hide the bright lights as they tore out of my skin.

I watched as they all slowly assembled in the air, before they all combined into a single glowing, pulsating ball that was absorbed back into my body, right where my heart was.

I felt the core of my spiritual energy shift a little bit behind my heart as it made space for this new core of energy.

As soon as this was done, I dropped down to my knees, gasping for breath, as sweat started running off of my face, dripping onto the floor.

"Wheeze, can I, gasp, make my final wish?"

"Yeah, but you know that you should probably take a second right?"

"No, I'll make it right now. Please gift me the books for the "Handy" art and the "Quick Draw" skill that you have in your collection."

As those words left my mouth, I let the pain finally overwhelm me as I passed out.
