Isaac used his sleeve to clean the blood from his Musket Rifle's blade, and after he was done, he looked at the dead corpses littered around him.
He rubbed his eyes and didn't know what to think about him killing these people. Even though they weren't real people and only code belonging to the game, the realism of the game made him think, was killing them really right choice.
They tried to sell him to slavery and do horrible deeds, but he could have always logged out, and he would have been saved; that's what he at least believed.
He killed once the NPCs in the Slum area, but at that time, he felt like he was killing some wild animals and not truly human beings.
''I might be overthinking this...'' He ruffled his hair and put the Musket Rifle on his back. He started climbing the robe, and soon, he disappeared from the dark place and appeared in the temple.
He carefully avoided the hole and area around it. It might be an unstable area, that's why, he walked very carefully.
After walking to the safety, he left the temple and quickly made his way over to the stairway, and started walking down from the mountain.
After walking for five minutes, a notification popped up in front of him.
A sigh of relief escaped his mouth as he accelerated his pace, and he walked down from the mountains much faster than when he was walking up.
Soon, he reached the bottom of the mountain, and without further ado, he left the area with quick and light steps.
''Damn...'' After running ten minutes without stopping, he stopped after his stomach started rumbling.
''So hungry...'' He decided that he couldn't keep up with an empty stomach.
''Interface...'' Murmuring the special words, a holographic screen appeared in front of him, and without further ado, he pressed [Log Out]
A white-haired figure disappeared from the forest.
...
Isaac opened his eyes with a slam and felt the straps of headgear touching his frail skin. Moving his limbs, he felt the skinsuit feeling very comfortable and relaxing.
He didn't feel any numbness and annoyment anymore. Instead, it was like he went to get a massage and was now a brand new man.
''Whew...'' A sigh of relaxation escaped his mouth. He put his hands on the button on the side of the headgear and pressed it, which closed the blinking lights coming from the visor.
He took the headgear off and put it gently on the bed, and instantly after the headgear was removed, the black skinsuit was sucked inside the headgear, disappearing from the world once again.
''Fascinating...'' Isaac started examing the headgear and wondered how the skinsuit could fit inside.
*Rumble*
But, his fascination came to a stop after his stomach started rumbling. His face grimaced as he quickly put the headgear back to the black box and left the room with hurried footsteps.
Quickly, he walked down the stairs, and once he was on the first floor, he went straight to the kitchen.
*Creak*
He put his hand on the doorknob and twisted it, which opened the door. After entering the kitchen, he went to the refrigerator, grabbed a plate filled with food, which was made for him, and put it on the microwave.
While waiting, Isaac turned around to look outside the window. Servants were once again busy cleaning the snow, and it didn't help that more and more snow was falling down from the sky.
The servants looked exhausted after cleaning the snow for two hours straight, and it didn't look like snow was reducing at all.
Isaac couldn't look at the sight anymore; he opened the window and shouted at them, ''Go home, you guys can continue tomorrow!''
The servants looked surprised and saw their young master shouting from the window.
Isaac looked at the sky and saw the grey clouds increasing, which meant even more snow would soon come, ''Go home, this is an order.''
The servants looked surprised until they nodded with relief and happiness after the long day was finally over and they could return to their families.
Isaac closed the window after getting slightly cold, and once the window was closed, he heard a sound of beeping behind him.
*Beep* *Beep*
His food was ready.
He opened the microwave and took the plate.
It was smoking hot, making his hand tingle in pain, but he quickly put it down on the kitchen desk and saw the smoke coming from the food clouding his vision.
*Creak*
Suddenly, a door was opened, and a middle-aged man entered the kitchen with slight surprise after he saw Isaac.
''Isaac, weren't you playing?'' Maxwell asked with surprise.
Isaac showed the plate and said, ''I got hungry.''
''Ah, right.'' Maxwell chuckled and thought that Isaac must have forgotten to eat in the game.
''Dad, where did you get Mythical VR Helmet?'' Isaac asked and saw Maxwell covering his lip.
''Secret.'' He replied and opened the refrigerator.
Isaac sighed and had a hunch that he got it from Legacy Company; that's why he didn't pry any further.
''By the way, I sent the servants home.'' Isaac said while taking a bite from his food, ''They seemed exhausted, and it won't be any use to clean the snow when more and more snow is dropping down from the sky.''
Maxwell nodded and asked, ''About the visit to my parents... When will you go? My mother... Is asking and is really eager to see you.'' He took a bottle of milk from the refrigerator and started gulping it down while waiting for the answer.
''Today is Monday...'' Isaac murmured and started counting days, ''Tomorrow is Tuesday, and then on Wednesday there will be tournament...'' He came to a conclusion and said, ''On Thursday.''
Maxwell nodded and wiped his mouth with his sleeve, and put the bottle of milk back in the refrigerator.
''I will tell my mother, even though you can play as long as you want with Mythical VR Helmet, we would still like to see your face around,'' Maxwell said with hidden meaning.
Isaac nodded and put another bite inside his mouth, ''Understood.''
Even though he knew that without a time limit, he could practically live inside the game, but he didn't want to, and he would start missing his family sooner or later.
