Maxwell nodded; he didn't know how he felt about his son going instead. He felt like he was a coward, but the last meeting with his parents didn't end well.
His mother tried to calm things down, but he and his father were too stubborn.
The fight ended up with Maxwell leaving for good and moving to Snowstar permanently.
Isabella moved with him since both of them were from a Capital City, Brightstar.
Maxwell grabbed his phone and looked at the phone number of his mother.
''Isaac, are you willing to go next week?'' Isabella asked gently.
Isaac nodded, ''Yes.''
Isabella looked at Maxwell and held his hand tenderly.
Maxwell took a deep breath and started writing a message for his mother.
[Maxwell: My son will be visiting you, please be nice to him]
He pressed the [Sent], and now he started waiting for the message.
It didn't take long for him to receive an answer.
[Madison: That would be lovely!]
Maxwell closed the phone and said, ''She said yes.''
Isabella smiled, ''Isaac, your grandfather might be troublesome, but I am sure they will love you!''
Isaac nodded and turned his head towards Maxwell, ''Grandfather is a hunter, right?''
Maxwell sighed and nodded, ''It is almost his obsession. He always goes hunting with his friends, and he always wanted to drag me there too, but I was never interested.''
Isaac's eyes sparkled, 'Maybe I can try out a hunting rifle... I wonder how different it would feel from the guns in the game.'
''How long will Isaac be there?'' Alice asked with narrowed eyes.
Maxwell shrugged, ''Maybe a week depends on what my parents think.''
Alice and Isabella paled.
''We can't see Isaac for a week?!'' Alice screeched, ''Why don't you put a bullet in our head instead?!''
Isabella held Maxwell's hand, ''H-Honey, m-maybe two days would be better?''
''Two days?'' Maxwell waved his hand, ''Isaac hasn't seen them for 18 years.''
''I would like to stay a week, maybe longer,'' Isaac said, which caused everyone to sigh.
''If you don't enjoy there.'' Maxwell sighed and continued, ''You can come back; I don't force you to stay there; you can decide when you want to return.''
Isaac nodded and felt excited about meeting his Grandparents.
He hasn't heard almost anything about them because his parents never say anything.
Alice slumped down on the couch and sighed, ''Is the Capital City safe?''
Maxwell and Isabella nodded.
''It is the safest City in Starshow. Isaac will be fine, but I am worried about one thing...'' Maxwell said and grimaced.
Isabella narrowed her eyes, ''Are you talking about... Them?''
Maxwell nodded, ''The family I was almost married to. I hope they don't bother Isaac.''
While they were talking about serious matters, Isaac was deep in his thoughts.
'I guess I will go meet my Grandparents after the Legacy Tournament.' Isaac thought to himself.
Isaac remembered that his schedule was quite packed.
Tomorrow will be the Duo Dungeon, which will take a whole day, and the day after tomorrow, he will go visit Luna in the hospital.
Few days after the hospital visit will be the Legacy Tournament, and it is the thing Isaac is most excited about.
'Ah right... I wonder does Forums have anything new.' Isaac was soon brought out of his thoughts because Alice pinched his cheek.
''Hmm?'' Isaac looked at her and saw Alice pointing at their parents.
''Isaac.'' Maxwell said seriously, ''You should probably stay in my parents' mansion and not wander around.''
Isaac grimaced, ''But, I heard that Brightstar has the Winterland's biggest festival, and it should be happening during October!''
''It is for your safety,'' Isabella said gently.
Isaac rolled his eyes and stood up. He left the living room and stormed upstairs.
''Isaac, don't be mad at me! I will cry!'' Isabella's shout echoed in his ears.
Isaac rolled his eyes, 'I will go visit that festival... Apparently, there is a competition about White Online!'
The festival has been ongoing for over a week now, and at the end of the festival, there will be a competition about White Online.
No one knows what kind of competition it is, but quite many are excited about it, Isaac included.
He never thought that he would have a chance of going there, but this visit to his Grandparents came in perfect timing!
Isaac entered the fourth floor and was about to enter his room, but then the door opened next to him, and a man with delinquent-like features appeared.
''Isaac!'' Marvin said quickly and dragged Isaac inside his room.
''We need help!'' Marvin shouted while dragging Isaac behind him.
''Hmm?'' Isaac looked curious.
Marvin stopped dragging Isaac once they were inside the room.
He went straight towards his VR Helmet, which was Silver-Ranked. He put a cable on it and connected it with a TV.
The screen of TV showed an image of a village with text floating in front of him.
[Banned!]
''Uuh?'' Isaac looked at Marvin with a questioning look.
Marvin scratched his head, ''It seems that my friends and I got banned from the starting village. So, how can we remove the ban?''
Isaac's eyes almost bulged out of the sockets, ''Y-You got banned from the village?! How?!''
Marvin sighed, ''We didn't know that burning the Village Chief's house is forbidden.''
''You burned the Village Chief's house?!''
Marvin chuckled and waved his hand, ''Not only me, but my friends also helped!''
Isaac was sweatdropping, ''Of course, it is forbidden!''
''Ah, shit.'' Marvin scratched his head, ''They should have put a warning sign or something.''
Isaac facepalmed, ''How long did you guys manage to play?''
''Uh, 20 minutes or so.'' Marvin replied, ''Now we have been arguing with Guards for over an hour, and they don't let us enter.''
Isaac rubbed his forehead and said with resignation, ''I-I don't think you can get unbanned.''
''Then what should we do?'' Marvin asked.
''Go to the Forest, try to grind XP all the way to the level 10, then you can leave the Starting Village and go to the Starting City.''
Marvin nodded; he lied down on the bed and put the VR Helmet back on his head.
''Thanks for the help, Lil bro.'' He said, and then his face became emotionless as he entered the White Online once again.
