Sun Mingyue listlessly said, “Zhao Dahe, surely you’ll do the same if there’s a next time? Even if you know it means death?”
“Yes,” Chu Li solemnly answered. “I can tolerate knowing my opponent is strong but I can’t tolerate the betrayal of a fellow companion. Saint, don’t you know what kind of a person Mo Qianjun is? How can such a person become an Altar Leader?”
“People change,” Sun Mingyue replied. “Mo Qianjun used to be bold and broad-minded. He was indeed a rare character, better than you ever were!”
Chu Li retorted, “Why did he become like this?”
“Perhaps it’s the hunger of power.” Sun Mingyue dully replied, “He can defend against his opponents but can’t resist against persistence towards power. I wanted to give him a chance.”
“Humph, chance!” Chu Li curled his lips.
“Fang Qingyang went over to take his place,” Sun Mingyue responded. “Zhao Dahe, you’ll change too. Just as the Zhao Dahe before and now, has there been any change?”
Chu Li snorted. “I’ve never changed.”
“You’ll change in the future,” Sun Mingyue answered. “Well, I hope you’ll be able to withstand and return!”
Chu Li announced, “I will return!”
Sun Mingyue listlessly uttered, “I know you have the ability to regain your martial arts. But, in Yinyang Cave, the greater your martial arts, the lesser the chance of survival.”
Chu Li frowned. “How’s that possible?”
“There isn’t a lack of strange things in this world,” Sun Mingyue commented. “there’s nothing impossible. You can try it if you don’t believe me. Let’s see if you’re able to survive!”
Chu Li gave her a steely gaze.
Sun Mingyue’s eyes were clear and still as water.
Chu Li slowly nodded. “I will make it through no matter where I am!”
“I hope you’ll able to say the same in Yinyang Cave!” Sun Mingyue glided down the steps and drew close to Chu Li. With a faint refreshing fragrance lingering in the air, she lifted her palm and pressed it on his abdomen.
“Swoosh!” A dull noise sounded like a deflating balloon was heard.
Chu Li felt his Dantian dispersing from the impact, and his inner energy swiftly disappeared from within. His Dantian was like a bottomless pit, sucking him dry of his inner energy, leaving him without an ounce.
Unwearying, as he still had his strength, but he was now without inner energy.
Chu Li’s shimmering eyes were glaring at her with discontent. “You fail at your duty, Saint. You knew Mo Qianjun was unsuitable, yet you gave him a chance. You sacrificed Senior Sister Li and Lu in vain!”
“They have perfected their merits and stepped into Great Light Surpassing State,” Sun Mingyue answered.
Chu Li snorted. “Dead means dead!”
Sun Mingyue shook her head. “There’s no point discussing further at this state.”
Chu Li said, “It’s you, Saint, who has led the two senior sisters to their deaths!”
Sun Mingyue snorted. “So you despise me too?”
“Yes,” Chu Li solemnly declared.
Sun Mingyue sized him up. “You’re not afraid I’ll make you suffer?”
“You already have!” Chu Li cried, “It’ll be hard to pull through in Yinyang Cave and harder in Sharp Vigor Battalion. You didn’t plan to keep me alive!”
“At least you know that much!” Sun Mingyue replied.
Chu Li retorted, “I will make it through!”
“You talk the talk, let’s see if you walk the walk.” Sun Mingyue uttered, “I’ll proclaim a face-to-face apology if you’re able to return to the church.”

“I’ll be waiting for it!” Chu Li gravely answered.
Sun Mingyue waved her arm. “Go now.”
Chu Li turned to leave. Outside the basilica, two middle-aged men were waiting. They had a calm look on their faces.
At first glance, Chu Li knew they were from the torture chamber.
The duo took a step forward towards him and muttered in a low voice, “Please follow us to Yinyang Cave!”
Chu Li did not speak a word.
The two escorted him in the front and back down the peak to a neighboring peak of Great Light Peak.
This peak was not as tall as Great Light Peak, less than half the height.
The trio arrived at the top where a large boulder erected. Above the boulder was a wide and bright cave, about the height and width of two men. Everything inside the cave was in plain sight just from standing outside.
They stopped and pointed at the cave. “Go in. This is Yinyang Cave.”
The two were polite and spoke in a gentle voice.
Chu Li saw through their thoughts.
They were certain he was doomed. No one could survive a month in Yinyang Cave. There was no need to be harsh on a person who was bound to die, so they tried to be generous and kind.
Chu Li stood still and took a measure of the Yinyang Cave.
Just by the name itself, he thought it would be a horrible place brewing with sinister winds. It never crossed his mind it was a bright place at the top of the peak. This Yinyang Cave seemed to be a comfortable residence equipped with a stone table, chair, and bed complete with bedding. It was neat and tidy.
Chu Li turned. “What’s the longest record of anyone remaining in Yinyang Cave?”
“… Seven days.” One of the middle-aged men flashed a bitter smile. “However, he didn’t make it through the seven days!”
“So I’m bound to be dead?” Chu Li answered.
The other middle-aged man responded, “Others may not be able to endure seven days, but perhaps Junior Brother Zhao is able to!”
Chu Li smiled and took slow strides into the cave.
He took one step into the cave and instantly, a wave of cold Yang energy crept into his body.
His blood was frozen, and so were his senses. His mind was a blank, still as though time had stopped.
Time unknowingly passed when he slowly came to. He realized he was still standing there, his body motionless as a statue.
The two middle-aged men stood outside, watching him with sympathy.
He smiled at the duo but before the smile faded, a wave of hot Yang energy bore into his bones, causing severe pain. He felt as though his body was hurled into hot molten lava and iron. His mind was thrown into another blank and daze. Time had seemed to stop.
He came around moments later but before he could do anything, another wave of cold Yin energy penetrated in, freezing both his body and mind. Time came to another halt.
He was weak and powerless against these two strange energies. Even his mind void was frozen defenseless. He could not break free from the control of these energies.
He had only three or four breaths of consciousness, while the remainder of time his senses were either frozen or burnt to oblivion.
He felt his body becoming weaker, his feet almost unable to withstand the weight of his body. Then came another wave of Yang energy. When he regained consciousness, he found himself on the ground. He immediately turned to get up and lie on the bed before he was frozen by a chilling energy wave.
In the remaining few times he was conscious, he had the urge to escape with God’s Limbs. Even if it meant exposing his identity, it was better than dying here. This Yinyang Cave was too peculiar for him to go up against. It was no wonder the longest one could endure was seven days.
He was not confident he could make it through seven days.
He tried to see if he could work God’s Limbs. He could then escape with God’s Limb when he was at his limit.
However, he tested it privately and was unable to use his God’s Limbs.
This peculiar Yinyang Cave could even restrain his divine power!
He might be able to put on an emotionless expression, but he could not suppress the growing worry in his heart. Without God’s Limbs, he had to remain here without any opportunity to escape!
