Chapter 1: Prologue

“Can you tell me when those nightmares have started?”

“A….A  week ago”

“Did something happen to you or perhaps did a sudden change occur in your surroundings a week ago?”

“I guess, yes ”

“If it not too difficult , may  I ask you to recount what happened to me ?”

“I don’t know …. I –I didn’t do anything, It …it’s not my fault … ….. … I’m the victim here”

“Ok ,please, calm down, it’s alright , I’m  here to help you , just tell me and I may relieve the burden from you”

The patient was hesitant. After some minutes, in a weak voice , he spelled a single word  “….. game”

“A game?? what kind of game ?”

“Just a simple game , but before that you must know a certain story , the tale of a hungry wolf “

“The hungry wolf was desperate, finding meat was harder and harder these days , and the wolf was unable to earn some .He was envious of those who don’t need to do much while the food came raining  above their heads . The wolf wasn’t that lucky in the first place, his whole life was gray from misery and sadness but one day, when he was on an aimless journey, he met a fox , a deep red fox , the latter smiled and spoke gently to the wolf as if he was talking to an old friend .

‘Do you want to eat fresh meat ,my friend ?’ the fox said ,the wolf didn’t expect that , he first took it for a joke , who in their right mind would share their precious food with a stranger ? The fox didn’t get angry to the wolf’s distrust, instead he smiled even more widely  ‘If you want to change your life , then follow this humble one’  the red fox walked away , curious, the wolf followed behind , he wanted to see what this fella was up to , it didn’t take long before they arrived to a green plain where  a flock of sheep have been happily chewing on  herbs . Seeing them , the wolf couldn’t help but drool , but then he remembered that there were  laws, he couldn’t go there and directly hunt them , no , he couldn’t , he mustn’t or else the hunters would come after him, but then the voice of the fox came haunting his ears ‘Each night the sheep would return to the barn and sleep in their respective stalls , I’ll keep away  the hunters from it and show you the way to open the sheep stalls but regarding the how you’ll hunt them down, you should figured it out by yourself ‘ The wolf didn't refuse the fox's help and spend his time observing the sheep , they were so close yet so far to reach , until one night , an idea came to the wolf mind, what if he disguised himself as a sheep and joined the flock ? Wouldn’t that be easier ? and yes , it was , the  sheep welcomed him as one of their own and happily talked and joked with him , but the next day ,from the nine sheep one died , the sheep were frightened, they knew that it was impossible for an outsider to come in and kill their companion, the hunters wouldn’t let that happen..”

“…”

“The sheep knew that the culprit could only be one of them , they knew that the wolf was with them at each second, they became restless and the distrust spread among them .Each night one of them died  and the remaining sheep have to find the wolf ”

“….”

The patient suddenly stopped speaking.

 “And then ….

Did the sheep find the wolf ?” the doctor asked.

“No …….I’m here after all”

"?!”

“Doctor , It wasn’t my fault , it’s really not my fault”
