Chapter 432: Wait, What The Heck Did I Miss?!

Translator: EndlessFantasy Translation  Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation

Baiyi had fun with the girls until the evening. Afterward, he used Hypnosis on a local mogul, making the latter allow him to take a flight to London via the latter’s luxurious private jet. When they arrived in London, they checked into a hotel. Baiyi left the girls at the hotel to entertain themselves and hurried to the Clock Tower, where he was scheduled to meet a mysterious old man.

Both men did not fight, though, as they both knew how much of a waste of time it would be. The old man 1 was past his prime and could not overcome Baiyi, and Baiyi knew that he, too, would be unable to completely defeat the old man. Someone who had lived through the destruction of an entire planet… was definitely not someone who would be killed by mysterious forces.

The two began their discussion on the topic of magical equipment crafting for the lolis. Baiyi found himself marveling at the depth of understanding that magi of this universe had of their own Magecraft. These magi were not compelled by fighting; they were compelled by unknown mysteries.

The old man, who had seen a lot in his day, found Baiyi’s world, which he was being told about, quite intriguing and fascinating.

In the end, Baiyi and the old man came to an agreement: the old man would share his profound insights on traveling through parallel dimensions, and in exchange, Baiyi would share magical techniques from his word. The old man was not interested in Baiyi’s extensive library of destructive and offensive magic; instead, he was interested in miscellaneous techniques such as Memory Exchange, Memory Anamnesis, Soul Armature Anamnesis, etc. Baiyi, on the other hand, did not manage to learn how to perform the old man’s  uncanny magic 2 , as it was both unlearnable and useless to the Fifth Walker, but he did obtain some invaluable insights into it. The pair got along because of the mutual passion they shared for knowledge, despite the difference in their worlds.

The two would have talked for much longer, seeing as they had begun to joke as friends would, but Baiyi’s time in this alternate Earth was almost up. Before Baiyi left, he bade the old man a heartfelt farewell. “If fate allows it, I really hope we meet again.”

The old man only shook his head sideways with a chuckle. His understanding of universe travel was much more thorough than Baiyi’s, and he knew that they would never cross paths again.

Baiyi took the two girls back to Fuyuki City. Once there, he added a little bit of his own mana into their porcelain Holy Grail to fill it up completely. After that, he performed the initiation rite to puncture a hole through reality and the world beyond.

As expected, the Grail instantly spilled out a mound of black mud. This frightened the lolis so bad that they jumped behind Baiyi and held his thighs from behind.

“Okay, I get why Anna would be scared, but you ? You’re already a blackened 3* alter ego of your original self!” Baiyi remarked as he patted Santa’s head out of amusement.

Santa seemed to be quite repulsed at being patted by Baiyi, and she most definitely did not want to have him twirl the idiot hair 4 on top her head. Hence, with a quick cross of her arms guarding her chest, she pulled her head off from under Baiyi’s hand.

Baiyi sighed and pushed the War God’s Sword into the Grail. The sword absorbed all the mud, and soon, the hole closed.

Baiyi’s time in the world was fast drawing to a close, and he could feel a planet-level force trying to shove him out of the world. The moment the War God’s sword was fully charged, a voice 5  rang out in his head, which attempted to incite him into giving in to his deepest, darkest impulses. suddenly assaulted his head, enticing him into giving in to his deepest, darkest impulses, amplifying his negative emotions.

Baiyi patted his face mask and replied to the voice, “Meh. I’ve lived for five thousand years, bruh.; in that time, I have lived through thirty-three different lives, experiencing various degrees of good and evil. What are you when compared to me ? Bugger off with your amateurish goading.”

With a slight mental push, the voice was instantly destroyed.

“Well, that’s taken care of,” Baiyi exclaimed and activated the War God’s Sword, causing a tri-colored blade to shoot out from the hilt. He beckoned the two girls over and said, “Okay, wrap your arms around my thighs, ’cause we are leaving.”

Bright lights flashed, and Baiyi, who was initially unwelcome on the alternate Earth, finally disappeared. This brought a collective sigh from everyone in the alternate Earth who knew of his existence. This Holy Grail War had ended just as whimsically as it had started, with nary an actual battle. It was almost no different from a child’s game — something the universe may have designed this way so that the extremely powerful but unwelcome visitor would finish in a hurry and return to his world.

This method, which caused a very little number of casualties, was the most effective way to send the visitor off. Furthermore, Fuyuki City was close to a period of festivals.

In the blink of an eye, Baiyi was back in his own universe. However, from the in-depth conversation he had with the old man, he knew that the time it took for an individual to travel through universes was longer than the traveler perceived, else a divine weapon like the War God’s Sword would not have had to completely exhaust its energy. Baiyi just could not feel the presence of time during the universe travel; to him, the journey began and ended within the same second.

If he could perceive the real flow of time during the travel, he would be able to halt the travel in mid-process. This could be the key to defeating the Grandruler of Forgiveness.

‘Which brings us back to a question: why was I transported here — Da Xue’s micro-realm?’ Baiyi looked around his surrounding in confusion. Should he not have been transported straight back to Duat for the huge battle?

At a loss for what to do, Baiyi raised the War God’s Sword, hoping to communicate with the War God.

However, there was already a message stored within the sword, waiting for him. It was a loud yell. “You good-for-nothing, you’re more useless than the women around you! I can’t believe I had to spend so much energy on you!”

‘What? You’re the one who deserved to be trashed! Wasn’t this all according to your“Divine Plan”, in which after learning a key knowledge from the otherworld, I return triumphantly to defeat the Grandruler once and for all? If so, why the sudden personal attack?!’

Paying no more mind to the message, Baiyi quickly contacted the Voidwalkers and discovered, to his shock, that the Hitman Walker, the Blacksmith Walker, the Scholar Walker, and the Lich Walker had already returned home!

Moments before Baiyi was knocked out of the universe, to another world, the only Voidwalker he was talking to was his teacher; this was why the Archmage ha been transported along with him.

As for the Archmage, the geezer was unhappy with Baiyi, who had failed to provide him a smartphone. As Baiyi had been focused on kidnapping little girls and researching the Holy Grail, he did not have time to interact with the old man.

“Seriously, how long was I away?” He asked in the Void.

“Ah, a great misfortune has befallen our humble group, for our son of a b**** moderator has returned!”

“Oh my, you’re finally back! If you remained gone for a while longer, I’ll have thought you would never return!”

“Goodbye, my sweet, wonderful, breeze-like two weeks. It was short, but every second of it was fulfilling, as a certain bastard of a moderator was gone… If only I was in a physical body like that Paladin—”

“Two weeks? I was gone for two weeks?” Baiyi exclaimed. He asked every Voidwalker to send him their memories of these two weeks. In reality, he raced towards Da Xue’s residential area with the two lolis.

As soon he walked into the residential area, he caught sight of a beautiful maiden rocking a straight hime cut with her black hair. She was seated on a bench next to the pavement, her black eyes filled with worry and anticipation as they stared into the distance.

Baiyi hurried over to her. “Yo!”

The black-haired fay-like beauty did not waste a second to lunge at his lap and wrap her arms around him. She squeezed so tightly that Baiyi’s armor, which was made from heavy-duty Augustril, creaked out for help.

“Hey, hey, hey! Easy there!” Baiyi ruffled the Warrior Walker’s fair, comforting her, “There are kids watching us, you know? Maybe this isn’t the time?”

“Hmph! You fool,” she whispered, sneering.

Baiyi’s felt his heart warm up when the Warrior Walker, someone so frosty and tsundere, gave him something as intimate a hug.

The good feeling did not last long. The Warrior Walker, who was hugging him, soon transformed into the Assassin Walker.

‘Look, I know the three of you made a set of rules amongst yourselves on how to use this body, and I know that the three of you have gotten really good at switching turns, using this body to its fullest potential… But, for crying out loud, can you girlsnever do that in public?! Just look at the faces of these poor lolis; they are scarred!’

“Fairy says it’s best she doesn’t come out, so I’ll just have to hug you a little while longer for her sake ,” Lady Assassin Walker whispered. She stood on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on Baiyi’s face mask.

It was then she finally noticed the two little girls behind him.

Her face turned red immediately. “You brought two girls back home,  again? And ! Goddamned it; you’re just not satisfied with the three of us! Only girls thisyoung could ever truly fulfill your carnal desire, right?”

“C-can you not make this sound like I cheated on the three of you? I’m innocent! I mean, I brought them home for reason  other than because they are cute and young; I just wanted to grant their wish… and, uh, examine their body! You know, for research on Servants and their properties. There’s a chance we could appropriate the same techniques towards freeing us from the Void in the future! It’s all for the glorious and noble cause of escaping the Void!”

Lady Assassin Walker did not wait for him to finish. She just turned and left.

“Bah, women are so small-hearted! The two of you should not learn from her, alright? You should be better than that,” Baiyi said in an authoritative tone, patting the hairs of two little girls.

“B-but she’s so pretty! You must have done something really nasty to make such a pretty lady angry, I bet!” Santa harshly replied Baiyi.

“Tch, you’re a difficult kid. If you’re gonna remain a menace I’ll see to it that you never become Santa Claus!” Baiyi threatened, pulling the more obedient Anna closer to him, after which he led her away.

Santa puffed her cheeks and stormed after him. indignantly and followed him stormily.

The trio returned to Baiyi’s own residence shortly after, and as always, he summoned everyone to his home for meeting through an annoying cacophony of gong-smacking.

He received his second shock when he saw that all of his girls were at home, including Mia, who should have been outside training with her students. In fact, she was the first to rush to his house too!

Baiyi was just about to ask her about it when Mia, upon seeing Baiyi, froze dead on her tracks. Then, as if she had just recovered from a devastating lightning strike, she extended a finger and pointed at Santa hiding behind Baiyi’s back and stammered, “M-M-Mr. Hope… You… You… finally… did it with Laeticia?!?!?!”

“?!?!” The heck?! Fever! She must be having a fever right now!

” She looks e-e-exactly like Laeticia 6 !” Mia cried as if she was on the very edge of bawling. “Mr. Hope, I can’t… I can’t believe that you would do something like this!”

They just looked similar—it doesn’t mean anything! Why did you even go there?! Even if I wanted to give in to my carnal desires—well, I would never do it to Laeticia anyway! Baiyi’s mind was practically screaming in a frenzy. For f*** sake, even if I wanted to give in to my carnal desire… I can’t! This thing doesn’t come with my manhood intact!!!

By then, Laeticia had made it to Baiyi’s house, and much like Mia, the first thing she saw upon entering the house was also her several-age-younger (or even her herself when she was a just a child) doppelganger. With the same struck-by-lightning face of shock, she asked in a monotone, “Mr. Hope, where did you even find my lost-lost little sister?”

Why did you go that way too? Okay, so at least you have a bit more sense than Mia to think that she’s your daughter by me or something… But seriously, is blood relation the only thing you people could come up with to explain the similarity in looks?! Does everyone automatically looks for an explanation from that angle? Baiyi snarked quietly to himself before explaining the origins of his two latest additions.

“Huh?!!” Mia and Laeticia exclaimed cried out in unison. They never thought that these two no older than elementary schoolchildren girls were war-fighting Servants, just like the other ones featured in Baiyi’s stories.

With their interests piqued, Mia wrapped her arms around Anna while Laeticia pulled her little doppelganger into her own embrace. They remarked in concerted delight, “Nobody said that Servants are so adorable!”

Then, they both gave the two lolis a loving facial rub with their own cheeks—Baiyi had not even done anything like that yet and his two girls had already done that.

The two lolis were initially quite frightened at all of these new places and people they were thrusted into, but they seemed to be quite fine with Mia and Laeticia, almost as if they thought the two girls were more trustworthy than the Big Meanie himself. Maybe this was the result of the puerile idea concept of “beauty equals goodness” many children typically believed in?

Regardless, Baiyi remained unperturbed that his two lolis had gotten snatched from his hands by his own students. “Mia, can you tell me why are you here? My absence was no more than a month, which means your practical training should not have ended yet, yes?”

Mia and Laeticia shot each other a quick look before turning back to Baiyi with confusion written all over their face. “You really don’t know anything , Mr. Hope? Where… did you go?!”

The way Mia flexed her words stunned Baiyi a little—did something big happened while he was gone? He had not been able to review his collected memories from the Voidwalkers earlier because the Warrior-shaped Huffing Piggy had interrupted him in reality, so he had no idea what had happened over these two weeks.

Meanwhile, his other students and the Pseudo-Descended Voidwalkers had slowly arrived at his house, each of them leveling the same sort of questions and doubts to his absence—they were especially harping on the fact that Baiyi was missing during a critical, realm-threatening event.

“Ladies, gentlemen, please! Let’s leave my side of the story aside for now and tell me what happened while I was gone, please?” Baiyi said above the din, waving his hand to calm the crowd down.

“Isythre… was invaded by Duat through an all-out war,” Vidomina replied somberly. “Although the threat has been defused, we had suffered massive casualties…”

That was possibly the biggest shock Baiyi had received within that short frame of time. While he was playing “Loli Holy Grail War” back in the other universe, his own home had just gone through an Inter-Realm War!
