[Waking up in an unfamiliar place]

Ugh…wait… what? …What is this place?

Wait a second! I remember I died and met kami-sama but… this isn’t the magical land kami-sama was talking about.

Uhm… have I started from a cave?

Sigh… I should try finding an exit then.

(A holographic screen appears in front of me saying, “[Alert: You cannot leave the dungeon until you reach the 100th floor]”)

Eh…?

Astounded I was, I could not believe Kami-sama chose not to tell me something important like this, I thought it was a cave but I’m locked in a fucking dungeon with 100 floors? My isekai adventure literally just begun a few seconds ago.

Who the hell starts their adventure right from a dungeon?

Well, I think he forgot to told me a lot of important things, he even mentioned something about other people coming to this world, getting mobile phone and other accessory, wait hold up let me see what I got.

(Opening Player’s Menu)

Wow this holographic menu is quite fun to use and there are so many functions like player’s overview, stats, party, inventory, skills, craft, map and encyclopedia, kinda like the games I’ve played.

Woah there’s even a zoom function I can control with my eyes, that will definitely come handy.

It seems the map only expands whenever I explore or find new locations.

I think I might be getting a little sidetrack, let’s go to inventory and check what do I have.

[Inventory]

Consumable: Health Potion 15x (Recovers 50% of user’s health)
Consumable: Mana Potion 15x (Recovers 50 of user’s mana)
Consumable: Apple x15 (Restores stamina, can also be used as food for survival)
Rare Consumable: Phoenix’s Feather 1x (Allows user to be resurrected, consumed automatically upon player’s death) (Note: It is only given to player once.)
Equipment: Ring of will (???) (Note: Cannot be removed once equipped)
Tool: Smoke bomb x5 (Can be used to confuse opponent’s surroundings or use to flee from battle)
Divine blessings: Phoenix’s Tear x7 (Raises all of user’s stats and buffs by 70% for 30 mins)
Gift x1 (A departure gift from player’s previous world, granted by God)

That’s it? Are 15 potions enough to survive a dungeon with 100 floors? I thought kami-sama said I would get beginner’s equipment but there is nothing except this ring, I don’t even know if I should wear it or not. It does not seem to have any description and it cannot be removed once equipped.

Sigh…

At least the divine blessings and smoke bombs looks convenient, and that phoenix feather looks like a super rare item.

But without further ado let’s see what that gift has stored for me.

Select > Gift x1 > Open

“[Alert: Something Has Changed]”

(Note from author: Kazuma chose to start classless that’s he wasn’t given any beginner’s equipment, but in exchange he receives a very special ring, the ring will be explained in upcoming chapters, please look forward).
