Chapter 5: The First Sight of Abnormality

Willowfort sigh, Lily street

Neils was jolted awake as the car stops in their new home's garage. After he empties the car he looked towards the house.

The house has two floors, a garage and a nice little garden full of withered plants. Its Not ugly but is indeed quite the fixer upper.

"Ah... It looks better than i thought! Can you believe it neils? Just for a few hundred bucks" His mother admires "there are still flaws here and there but we can fix it up. Right Neils? Just like that time with your father.

  The bitter memories of the night came washing down on him "mom... not now" Neils is just not feeling it. His mother has always tried to bring up topics of his father. He did not understand why. Without further conversations, Neils silently unpacks his boxes until he catches something in the corner of his eyes. On a table in a dining room was a picture of a man and older man, they seem like father and son. Neils moved closer to examine.

  The picture is dusty and edges was bitten of by rats presumably. While looking he notices the skin of the older man is blue, it was getting bluer and its face distorts horribly. Neils was shocked, he rubbed his eyes and the picture went back to normal. He went back to unpacking thinking nothing of it but it still unnerve him.

  A few hours later, Neils is almost done unpacking when the doorbell rings. He went to open thr front door and saw a weird man. The man had a red dyed hair and various weird charms on him, the man was a bit taller than neils and has sky blue eyes. "Good afternoon" said the man " I am Charlie, pleased to meet you. I just moved in and is here to greet you as your new neighbour" Charlie extends his hand for a shake. Neils shook his hand he's really extroverted so he wasn't the one to start a conversation. "Now tell me neighbour, have you heard of the rumors circulating this town?" Asks Charlie "N-no" Neils reply "Willowfort Sigh has alway been a hotspot for the cryptic paranormal, there were disapearance, ghost sighting and more! There is simply too much to count" Charlie blabbers on. "I thought you said you were exxagerating." "I DID! I didn't expect them to be true " neils heard two voices further behind Charlie.

Charlie was then grabbed by a woman who is presumably her mother " I'm sorry for my son causing you trouble" the woman apologizes "not at all" Assures Neils. As Charlie was dragged away into his house  he shouts. "JOIN MY CUL-" but the door closed before he can finish.

"Paranormal activity huh" Wonders Neils. He resumed unpacking and got the job done. He then decided to walk around town familliarize himself to the town. As he hit the streets, a shadow was watching him from afar.
