Chapter 3: To ask or not to ask.

Dear Diary,

I recently received an assignment. It's the dangerous kind for those in my rank. People usually ask for help for things like this right? But, how? I know that people ask for help for different reasons. I also know that when I ask for help.

I'm always ignored.

Whether they just continue doing what they're doing and acting as if I don't exist. Or if they just say for me to shut up.

I'm always ignored when I ask.

I think that's why I like doing odd jobs the best. It's just someone who needs help from someone who can help. It's just someone going about their day who runs into a problem they can't solve.

I like doing things like that, solving problems.

But, you see, I can't ever seem to be able to solve my own.

There's an expedition in a few weeks. The assignment I received will need close to a day to complete. So I might not see you tomorrow Diary. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.

Maybe I'll die.

Who knows?

Oh well.
