"You're Micha's new bottom bitch?" Teka heard from behind her followed by some gripping her shoulder tightly. The voice was harsh, angry like a rebellious teen."So what did he give you?"

"I'm not talking." Teka said shakingly, far too terrified of this person to even think about fighting them. "I won't talk."

"Micha told you that?" she sighed, digging her newly extended claws into Teka's shoulder, taking away her fullness. "good advice, let's see what else he taught you!"

Teka didn't register her movements. She felt pain erupt from her back as her powerless body was sent through the very tree she once sat on. After impacting the ground, the force completely shattered her limb. Red flowers blossomed across her body and the ground beneath her, preventing the sweet release of darkness.

Teka gritted her teeth as frost formed from her broken arm to her body, numbing the pain. Her sight faded in and out at the same instant, but like a cornered animal, she became more aware of her surroundings.

This was a facet of the divine moon, 'Crisis'.

Through the clouds, a glistening bolt pierced through to finish the fight. As Teka sensed the bolt mere millimeters away, she used the full force of her ability to move out of the way.

"Wow, you're fast." she laughed, intrigued by Teka's ability to avoid lightning, perhaps a speed based ability. Switching from lightning to blunt impacts she yelled "try this!"

Teka froze the ground and glided over the earth like an ice skater. With angelic grace, she defied gravity and avoided the impacts as they touched her skin.

The power of crisis was a power that strengthened people's senses to godly levels. As a result, the body was able to increase movements by severing structure-sustaining enzymes and fats within, which enhanced nerve sensitivity and enhanced maneuverability by controlling every muscle in the body in turn.

A truly fearsome ability that ,when combined with the user's other powers, can lead to an energy efficient fighter who can fight for extremely long periods of time without rest.

There was only one problem: how it appeared in the blessings. The blessing only worked on Teka because she was on the verge of passing out, so Micha deemed it a failure along with its sister power.

"Amazing." She remarked, her orange eyes filled with intrigue as she conjured fire from the various trees with a snap of her fingers. A sudden attack prompted Teka to instantly form an ice shield. A thin bolt of condensed fire cut the air like a knife, causing an ear-bleeding screech, as it dug through Teka's shield and body with contemptuous ease.

The attack didn't stop there. It burned through the trees and ground filling the area in red flames. The orange eyed lady, having predicted such an outcome, had taken immediate precautions. Like a goddess she waved her dainty hand and a wall of dense obsidian rose high encasing the two females in only sixty feet of shadowed ground.

With an uncaring glance to Teka's severely injured and exhausted body The orange eyed lady asked "did Micha teach you any other tricks?"

Teka didn't answer verbally, she melted into the blackness. The shadows made by the wall and the flames gave Teka a seemingly infinite amount of shadows to draw from. As long as she stayed within a fifteen foot area one could say she is immortal.

Teka regained her bearings and all injuries were healed within the darkness, causing the crisis to deactivate.

"I see, shadow melding?" The familiar voice echoed, instilling a sense of unease. "Did he teach you anything else?"

"How do you know my god?" Teka asked from the safety of the shadows which warped her otherwise delicate voice "are you one of his followers?"

"Hell no!" the Orange eyed lady fired back, her face twisting in blinding anger accompanied by utter disgust at such an insinuation "I'm here to kill that son of- no I won't call Mrs.Agatha that, -that monster before he gets out of hand."

Restraining her anger, Teka could only get a strained "why?" to escape her lips without any form of insult or flying into a blind rage at the disrespect to her god.

Not knowing the anger running through Teka's body the young lady said "he's the reason bloody atmos day happened in YS harbor."

It was unclear to the purple-eyed girl what had happened. However, it wasn't surprising considering what happened after YS Harbor's Atmos city incident three years ago. In fact, Rosecurity ,an international organization, worked to keep it off the record due to its horrific nature. Only a few were aware of the terrors; to the majority, the disappearances, who caused them and where the victims were taken could only be theorized.

"Oh right, I'm not allowed to talk," Teka's opponent sighed, rubbing her semi-translucent hair. "Let's get back to fighting, I need a warm up before I move onto Micha."

Teka took a deep breath, acknowledging her opponent, before exercising her imagination to its limit. An immense black cloud rose from the earth, splitting into two and raining down torrential rain. Its rival easily dodged each drop with speed that defied logic.

Every drop hit the ground, slicing the earth open and making way for blackened tentacles to strike. Flowing energy into her right arm the rival chants "Living stone: configure four." calmly.

A glistening aura covered the rival as she glided effortlessly through the sea of tentacles. The tentacles shattered like glass without her even using her fists. The enormous fist was blown away by a backhand elbow when the rival saw it looming.

In response to her opponent's refusal to come out, her rival leapt into the air, appearing to touch the heavens.

"I hate this!" She yelled as she reaffirmed her opponents' plan, causing her to overcome with anger. "I don't want to use him in any way, but you? Is that his 'ultimate defense'? Are you a coward?"

The ultimate defense was not based on a single tactic. Using the principle that 'if you cannot be hit, then you have the strongest shield', it was a set of concepts meant to counter all offenses through hiding. Teka was able to fully exercise her powers without fear, secluded from the world within the shadows.

It seemed cowardly to some.

"I am a simple tool for my god." Teka answered honestly, showing hints of her insanity. In a flash, the blade tentacles of her darkness gathered into clumps of shadow. The spider-like creations closed in on her opponent. "As a tool, I must show my worth!"

"Don't kid yourself, kid." The woman clad in radiant light, which seemed to dim slightly, yelled. The elder female feels an all too familiar kinship with her opponent on that point, having at one point also seen herself as a disposable tool for Micha. As such, her following words, filled with sincere regret, carried a significant weight to them: "trust me he doesn't give a shit about anyone, not after what we did!"

Through her insanity, those words seemed to resonate with Teka for a moment. The darkness halted as a sickening, inky and cold feeling spread from Teka's abdomen, rotting her will to fight, to prove herself.

Teka's 'unshakeable' faith had wavered for a moment, one that her opponent capitalized on for a merciful defeat.

"Sundowning."
