Chapter 5: Chapter 4- You smell nice~

Xyler Academy.

One of the most prominent amenities of the Inustria Kingdom and ranked fourth in the Eight Chained Academies spread over the globe.

Some years after the great war, which shook land and heavens, the idea of teaching and training youth to enable their self-protection was introduced through the Academy.

Xyler Academy might not be the oldest one, but the Chairman of the Academy is the only being in existence who has witnessed the Great War yet survived somehow.

Three years of High School level academic teaching along with compulsory physical and Magical Training. Those who don't have the aspect called Mana, couldn't be admitted to the Academy, even though they belong to the Royal Family.

Mana is partial, and the Academy discriminates on that basis.

With a populace of a thousand students, Xyler Academy strives to become one of the strongest pillars of humanity if the wall which separates them from demons suddenly disappears and the world again gets clouded with chaos.

Walking through the front lawn of the Academy, Ethan observed his surroundings and found many familiar yet unfamiliar faces.

Back in the days, he generally doesn't make any friends since he found it a hassle, and looking now, he doesn't seem to regret that decision.

Even though this was a battle Academy where students were meant to learn life art and War skills, the atmosphere of the surroundings gave a vibe of a lover's garden.

Students were walking in pairs while holding hands and giggling at who knows what joke. What was the most significant thing to notice was their attire.

Most of them had a specific shade of blazers adorning their upper body, signifying the House they belonged.

The Red and Black pattern belonged to the Scarlett House under the command of Third Year Judy Brook. This section primarily focuses on the Element Magic of the members and not professors, but the students teach each other in a particular house.

Green and White belonged to the Creation House, working under the supervision of Jeromy Standolf. The Eldest son of the Standolf family and brother of Jisele. This section of the Academy teaches Healing magic and focuses on Nature's support.

Gold shade belongs to the Sage House, working under the monitoring unit of the Royal family, Cristopher Strong. Previously, the princess of the nation was elected as president, but soon she delegated that role to her fiancé. The art of ancient magic and artifacts is practiced under the house.

And last, the Purple and Black shade belonging to Violet House under the administration of Catherine Winster. The section of the Academy believes that their limbs are their biggest strength and weapons, the best assistance. Since ancient times, this house has been the last ranked in Xyler, but now that's not the case.

Just in a year, Catherine has brought various changes, and students also supported those modifications due to the reputation Catherine carries.

'My wives are remarkable people, aren't they? '

All three of them have the power to manipulate the whole school through their wits without using their family name.

Apart from Scarlett's house, all three other houses were in control of his wives. God gave them otherworldly beauty along with brains which could have undoubtedly made them unique singularities if not Ethan had appeared in their life.

'I dragged them down eh…

In their previous life, Ethan didn't pay mind what they ever dreamed about or what they desired in life. He just moved toward his goal, and the silly girls in love followed him wordlessly.

He thought that it was their choice what they were doing, but now Ethan realized how insensitive and selfish he was to not consider their feelings at all.

'Well, now I got the chance….'

Thinking so, Ethan entered the classroom where he had been studying for eight months now. As soon as he walked in, everyone's attention got divided on him due to various reasons, but the person didn't pay heed to anything at all.

His gaze was fixated only on a single person currently.

Sitting on the back most seat of the class while reading a book without minding about her surrounding at all was a charmingly adorable girl with whom Ethan was familiar.

Collecting herself, Gisele prayed that Ethan would turn by the corner and goes anywhere but not here. She did tell the other two, to keep a straight face at him and observe from shadows, but she herself wasn't ready to face him at all!

"May I sit beside you, Issa-I mean Gisele?"

Gisele became stunned since Ethan wasn't using formal language at all with her like he used to. And what's with that suspicious nickname he was about to call her with?!

"I-I have a deskmate assigned."

What she couldn't tolerate would be feeling anxious all the time if Ethan suddenly sat this close to her. She isn't his wife; how can he ask to be so intimate?!

"Whoever it is, I will talk to them."

And with those words, Ethan dropped his bag and took the seat just some inches apart from her. Not an appropriate distance at all!

**SNIFF**

A shiver ran down her spine as she sensed Ethan touching her hair and not only that, taking a whiff of her too!

How he became so perverted all of a sudden?

"W-What are you doing?"

Keeping her composure somehow, Gisele asked in a robotic tone as Ethan finally let go of her precious hair and spoke with a satisfied smile.

"You smell as good as ever, Gisele~"

*PUFF**

Like steam blew out of her head, Gisele's mind went blank for several seconds with her face dying with amber blush.

In a fluster she leaned her face down and covered her embarrassing self with her book as a thought emerged in her mind.

'This man is dangerous… I better report the others to stay alert.. '
