GIGGADON EMPIRE, GREAT HALL.
“My name is Cyra Branigan, the first daughter of Viscount Branigan. Our Grandfather Rufus Branigan was a knight who fought for the emperor in the war to unify the North. He was a distinguished knight who earned many outstanding achievements on the battlefield. One, including capturing a major defense line of the Golden Empire, the Pillar City. It was a city that had twenty thousand enemy knights and mages, defending it. But with only five thousand knights under his command, he was able to bring the city to its knees. But unfortunately, while fighting in one of the many battles that occurred in the war. An arrow that was coated with a deadly poison hit him. And before he could be treated, he died. Seeing this, the emperor decided to pass the reward of my grandfather’s achievement to my father, the youngest and only male child my grandfather had.
The rewards given to my father were the title of a viscount, the city that grandfather conquered, and more than five hundred thousand gold coins. In contrast to my father, who devoted most of his attention to practicing becoming a knight just like his father. My aunts, who are well-read, offered to help my father manage the money and territory given by the emperor. But my father rejected their help and instead accused them of trying to steal his money and land.
After being disgraced and insulted by their own brother, they decided to cut ties with him. And, as soon as they left, my father spent most of the gold on medicinal ingredients that would increase his mana. Which would help him enter the second-class Grandmaster realm. But eventually, he failed to advance his realm, no matter how much mana-gathering medicine he bought. As the amount of mana a person can store is determined from birth. And my father was born with a white/E-class mana level. Destined to never step past the First-Class Grandmaster knight realm.
Learning about his faith, my father began to indulge himself in alcohol, drugs, and all sorts of pleasures. And it was while indulging himself in these pleasures that he met our mother, a commoner who had just begun working as a maid in the Branigan estate. As soon as he saw her, he decided to take her for himself. As our mother tried to resist, he threatened to kill her and her family if she kept resisting. And out of fear, my mother gave in and was raped on the stairs leading to the second floor of the Branigan estate. And I was born due to this incident.
Everyone in the Branigan estate, including my father's main wife, Viscountess Liana, knows about this incident. After discovering my mother was pregnant with his child, my father had no choice but to marry my mother into the family as a concubine. Although we are part of the Branigan family, we are treated no differently than servants. That is why I must accomplish my plan today.”
Cyra said in her mind with a determined expression while staring at the royal family table.
“Hey, have you noticed? After the prince was named, the emperor and the empress disappeared.”
A noble lady dressed in a light pink dress whispers loudly to another lady beside her who wore a yellow-colored dress.
“...??”
Immediately after hearing those words, Cyra turns her attention to their conversation.
“Well… I heard a rumor that the empress and emperor are having a fight because the emperor changed the empire’s law. Allowing the princesses to fight for the heir to the throne.”
The lady dressed in a yellow dress said while covering her mouth with her yellow-colored folding fan.
“What! How could the emperor–”
As the lady in the light pink dress spoke, she was interrupted by the intense stares of the other nobles in the Hall.
Once upon a time, a young noble lady talked badly about the emperor at a tea party and, the next morning her maids found her dead in her room, with her tongue pulled from her mouth and placed on her chest. And the people who listened to her words without doing anything also met the same fate. That event was named the ‘SILENT AFTER TEA PARTY’. Ever since that event, no one has dared question the emperor’s actions.
“It seems the information I got from the Axis guild has become public knowledge. Which means I have to make my move now.”
Cyra said in her mind as she began walking quickly towards the royal family table.
“On my seventh birthday, I discovered an ability within myself. At first, I was confused and scared of the ability but then, I realized that the ability was bestowed to me by the Goddess as compensation for all. I, my sister's and mother’s sufferings. With this ability, I will be able to make a safe and better life for my mother and sister.”
Cyra thought in her mind while walking, with her gaze fixed on her target. Princess Mera.
*BAM*
*BANG*
“Ouch!”
Cyra yells after falling to the ground and hurting her butt. She felt like she ran into a brick wall or pillar, but she was sure there was nothing like that in her path.
“Hey? Are you ok?”
A petite female voice asked in a worried tone.
“Urgh… yeah, I am fine. I am sorry–I am really sorry for my clumsiness.”
Cyra said in an apologetic tone while trying to get up.
“Oh, let me give you a hand.”
Said the lady as she stretches her hand forth to assist Cyra.
“Woah, I have never seen anyone’s hand this pretty and flawless. Strange… Why is her hand so small and delicate, like that of a child?”
Cyra thought in her mind as she takes the lady’s hand.

“What!? No…no. Why is it activating without my command? I can only see the future once a day.”
Cyra said with a panicked expression and tone as her ability activates.

CONSCIOUSNESS SPACE
“Huh? Where is this? Why can’t I see a thing?”
Cyra said in a panicked tone as she glanced around seeing only a pitch-black void.
“This is very interesting.”
Helena said as she approaches Cyra in her adult form.
“Who is that?...”
Cyra questioned in her mind after seeing a figure approaching her while emitting bright light that illuminated the dark space.
“Huh? That’s strange, why does she possess silver hair like that of the royal family but her eyes… her eyes her purple color instead of red. That means she is not a member of the royal family. Then who is she?”
Cyra deliberated in her mind as she watches the unknown woman approach her.
“My name is Helena Von Merula, princess of the Giggadon empire and I got my purple eyes from my mother, who is an elf. Anything else you are curious about?”
Helena said in a nonchalant tone while standing right in front of Cyra.
“What!? How… how did you –”
Cyra stuttered her words.
“How did I know what you were thinking? Well… it is simple. I can read your mind because I am a God. And I also know about this ability of yours after seeing your memories. What an interesting ability. Being able to see into a person’s future. Although you seem to be limited to using this ability once a day on one person and cannot use it on the same person again after the first time. Still, a useful ability it is. and it also only works on people who are below a certain level of power. Fortunately, you used it on my clone, or else you would have been dead... Now, let’s get back to reality.”
*SNAP*
Helena said as she snaps her fingers, sending Cyra back to reality.

GIGGADON EMPIRE, GREAT HALL.
“Huh? I am back in the great hall.”
Cyra said in her mind after opening her eyes and glancing around. She felt a warm small object in her palm, so she looks down and saw a little girl with white hair and purple eyes staring at her.
“Lady Cyra, I know I am very cute, and you can’t resist my cuteness, but please let go of my hands. People are staring.”
Helena said with an embarrassed tone as her cheeks blushed.
But Cyra did not hear a word Helena said as she froze on the spot like a deer in headlights, after seeing Helena. Noticing the princess has similar features to the woman who called herself ‘God’. Although there was a visible age difference. Cyra’s instinct could tell that the woman in her consciousness space and the little princess are the same person.
*WHOOSH*
Lady Lily swoops in quickly, releasing the princess's hand from her sister’s grasp.
“Your Highness I am deeply sorry for my sister’s behaviour. She didn’t really mean any offense by her actions she just gets muddle-headed sometimes.”
Lily explains in an apologetic tone, trying to save her sister.
IN THE NEXT CHAPTER:
“You might just be spot on, Grace. Because there is no way a person with a brain would ask for forgiveness from someone when no offense had occurred. And even if something did happen, why would you ask my sister for forgiveness instead of me? Did you get dropped when you were a child?”
