Platinum blonde hair tied in two fluffy twintails that reach her shoulders and amber eyes.

She calls herself Lucy Algrand, but her real name is Lucyelle Liz Vermillion, the eldest daughter and heiress of the Vermillion Household of the six great nobles.

Before her house was destroyed by the Acting Chairman, the villain of this sequel, it was the Seven Aristocratic Families.

They have a connection to a huge tree they call the sacred tree, which gave them magical crests called blessings or the emblem of the sacred tree that gives their authority.

This country claims to be invincible, but I defeated them twice, they also sell magic stones or orbs, which give electric power and make ships float.

With that reminder of why I am here, came the problem of Lucy, who was chosen by the sapling of the sacred tree which also chose me as its guardian.

A floating sphere of grey and eye came up to inspect.

"Umm, fascinating."

Ixion is a part of a technology of ancient humanity. His voice has a masculine electronic tone.

"What's so fascinating about it?"

I asked in surprise.

"You see, based on everything the sapling has seen and experienced, I would say that it chose the most opportune time to choose you as its guardian, as well as Lucy as the priestess."

What he said was irritable and annoying.

I can't say exactly, but part of me feels happy to do it.

I looked at Lucy and wanted to tell her not to take this seriously.

But my mouth couldn't move because of her happy expression.

"The sapling thinks of me as its mother... and Rudel as its father. That means it sees us as a couple, doesn't it?"

Lucy's happy face was so beautiful that I didn't want that glow to be lost.

Lucy looked at me, she was going to say something, but suddenly her smile faded and she said.

"S-Sorry, it was a very tiring day. We'll talk about what I was going to tell you another day. Let's rest hahaha."

Lucy ran off with the sapling in her arms.

I didn't understand what she meant, Ixion explained.

"Master, in case you didn't notice. Lucy left sad, it's because you told her you had fiancées and loved her. Her head must be very confused."

I sighed in disappointment to myself.

The spear was two meters long, due to the young man's stature as well as his long limbs, a spear was the best weapon for him.

"Take this!"

The spear pierced a few bats, after feeling his arm getting tired he used the rifle to poke holes in the bats.

The girl gave him a menacing look and the young man turned his head away.

The girl's name was Diana Algrand, though that was her false name, her real name was Diantha Liz Vermillion, Lucy's younger sister and the youngest daughter of Vermillion Household.

She was a reincarnate.

While the young man was one of the capture targets of the sequel to that game.

Zack Noctis Wayne, who agreed to help Diana because they have been friends for years, and Diana has even helped Zack escape from the academy to go on adventures.

For her, he is a great friend.

As they peeked their heads in to see if there were no monsters, the lights suddenly came on.

They entered and marvelled at the roots around what was a laboratory.

There were even armed units, giant robots for use in combat, which were either on the ground or scattered about.

Zack was amazed to see one that was surrounded by roots.

"It's beautiful."

"Yes, it is."

(We finally arrived. Now I can protect this country and onee-chan.)

During the night of the Herring territory.

The head of the house, Randy Zaja Herring was grumpy.

A short, overweight man with oily skin sat in his personal seat.

He combed his pink hair around the edges where he still had hair, his yellow teeth visible to anyone who approached.

"That damned Randolf, how dare he not only give me financial penalties for the actions of that stupid son."

"Worst of all, my jurisdiction in several sectors is gone, I can't even trade with pirates anymore because so many have fled, it's all thanks to that idiot son!"

Randy was upset with the Acting Chairman about his sanctions, but more upset that his son, Derrick, had lost to Rudel.

He didn't care if he died or not, he cared that losing hurt him more than he could have thought.

Even to his grandchildren, Randy has no empathy, for him a son is just a tool.

One of those tools brought him a lot of trouble.

"That brat... if I only had a chance to take care of him I swear..."

Someone knocked on the door.

"What do you want?"

Randy didn't know who was behind it but that's how he treated them all.

The butler opened the door.

"My lord, this letter has arrived for you."

"A letter? ... Burn it, I don't want to hear from anyone right now."

"But sir... the sender is from the empire..."

"... The empire you say!"

For Randy, that a letter had come to him from the empire was a big deal because instead of being sent to Randolf it was sent to him.

He took the letter and opened it, after reading the contents, his eyes became like saucers.

"This is!"
