"What a dumb little fox," said the voice of a female cultivator, causing Hulli Jing to suddenly turn her head backwards with a warry expression on her face.
"I really was careless," thought Hulli Jing as she looked at the two female cultivators behind her, but as soon as she took a single look at the leading cultivator, Hulli Jing's eyes lit up.
...
"So troublesome," thought Hulli Jing as she looked at Xu Yue, who was having enlightenment right now and then at Ming Yun, who at unconscious at this moment with a frown on her face.
In merely a moment, a barrier surrounded the three of them before Hulli Jing went back to sleep.
...
As soon as Ming Yun opened her eyes, she jumped from the ground and back onto her feet as she became ready to fight.
But as Ming Yun saw that none of the cultivator's that attacked her senior sister were still here, a confused expression appeared on her face.
"What happened?" mumbled Ming Yun as her confusion increased, but even so, Ming Yun did not let her guard down for a moment, as she prepared to fight whatever enemy appeared.
Several years later,
Looking at the dark clouds that gathered above Xu Yue, Ming Yun couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"Hopefully things go well in senior sister's tribulation," mumbled Ming Yun as she picked up the little fox that was sleeping on the ground before moving a large distance away from her senior sister.
...
"What was that," mumbled Xu Yue as soon as she opened her eyes after her enlightenment ended, even though it wasn't clear what happened, Xu Yue vaguely felt like something had happened around her.
After a few moments, Xu Yue stopped paying attention to that as she focused on the sapling, no, rather the small tree that had grown on her soul.
Compared to before her enlightenment, Xu Yue's Dao Sapling massively grew in size, so much so that the Heavenly Dao considered it a Dao Tree.
Only a few moments after noticing that, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck Xu Yue, surprising her, the bolt itself was not what surprised Xu Yue, but rather it's strength.
"It's really too weak, It's as if the Heavenly Dao isn't even trying," thought Xu Yue as she did something nearly insane and caught the second bolt of lightning in her hands.
Upon noticing that the Heavenly Dao seemingly had no reaction to such major disrespect, Xu Yue immediately knew that her guess was correct, the Heavenly Dao did not feel like it's usual self.
Of course, Xu Yue was not the only person who had realized that, and nor was she the one that was most worried.

A small street existed inside of a normal mortal city, and on that street, stood an old beggar.
Suddenly, the beggar's eyes opened, as if lightning flashed through them, and then, the beggar disappeared in an instant.
Of course, no one would care about the disappearance of an old beggar, for someone living in those conditions at that kind of age, death was extremely likely.

Merely a few moments after that, a middle-aged Taoist appeared beside Shen Xi and slightly bowed to him, this Taoist, was in fact Xin Ren, the leader of the Unrestrained faction of the Yin-Yang temple.
"Master, have you felt it?" asked Xin Ren as he stopped bowing to Shen Xi.
Xin Ren heard no response, as Shen Xi continued staring at the sky, with a frown still on his old face.
"Let's go back to the temple," said Shen Xi, causing a shocked expression to appear on Xin Ren's face.
Hearing that his master felt the need to come back to the Yin-Yang temple, Xin Ren felt sweat form on his forehead, as he began taking the change of the Heavenly Dao much more seriously than before.
Soon after that, both master and disciple disappeared from the sky.

On a lonely hill stood a desolate old Buddhist temple with an old monk inside of it, other than the small village below, and the occasional traveler searching for a place to rest, nobody went to the old temple.
Occasionally, some of the villagers would go up to the temple and give the monk some food, but that only happened once a month, as such, the old monk sat in the temple all alone.
In the temple stood five statues, and in front of one of the statues stood an old monk.
Seemingly not having eaten for a long time, the limbs of the old monk were extremely thin, looking as if they would break at the slightest touch, his eyes seemed sunken into his skull, but on the monk's face, a smile could be seen.
He was at peace.
After finishing reciting the diamond sutra. a sigh escaped the old monk's mouth, as he opened his sunken eyes.
"Let's go," said the monk as he got up, causing the eyes of the three monks that appeared behind him to widen in surprise, as they were expecting to have to convince him.
"Yes Reverend," simultaneously said the three monks before the three of them disappeared.
The old monk then looked at the peaceful land behind him once more, before letting out a sigh and disappearing as well.
...
Looking at the simple temple around him, the old monk let out a sigh.
"I see you have improved a bit since I left," said the old monk as he smiled, remembering the luxurious temple that stood here eons ago.
Hearing that, none of the five ancient monks sitting at the table responded, all of them staring at the sky above, searching for answers.
...
Eight people gathered at a table, but unlike the united situation in the Hangming Temple, and the strenuous battle of two factions in the Yin-Yang temple, these people seemed to be divided into five groups, even no though no words were said, an invisible battle was taking place.
"Enough," said an old voice, that for the first time in over a billion years, took action twice in a short amount of time.
First in the battle against another major world, and now again.
