Chapter 197: Formations

Countless large and small formations were strewn about a huge room, which was somehow at least several thousands of li in size, while in the middle of the room, stood Meng Lin, sitting crosslegged as she stared at the small piece of metal in her hands.

"Really expensive," mumbled Meng Lin as she turned her eyes back to her hand, remembering how many spiritual stones this small model had actually cost, causing her heart to ache.

"Master, what are you doing?" asked Luo Ye as felt his Master's gaze linger on him, causing some sweat to appear on the back of his head.

"Did little Qin do something to you, did she perhaps enslave you?" asked Meng Lin as she stared at her handsome disciple with a smile on her face.

"Master, why do you think that?" asked Luo Ye as he suddenly choked on air, not knowing if his master was joking or whether she was actually serious.

"Well, I didn't think you would be willing to take advantage of your own disciple," said Meng Lin as she stared at her disciple, a smile appearing on her face.

Hearing the words 'take advantage' come out of his master's mouth, black lines appeared on Luo Ye's forehead.

"Master, you know how Luli is, do you think I can take advantage of her, It's already good that I'm able to protect myself from her," said Luo Ye as he looked at his teacher.

But before Meng Lin could respond, a long leg suddenly smashed into Luo Ye's head, sending him flying sideways.

Before Luo Ye could fall to the ground, Qin Luli, his disciple suddenly appeared in front of his flying body, catching it and preventing it from hitting the wall.

"Husband, you should be cautious when you are standing around, otherwise you might get injured" by a sneak attack," said Qin Luli as she looked at the unconscious Luo Ye with tender eyes.

It was a good thing that Luo Ye was not conscious right now, otherwise, he might have died from coughing out too much blood by now.
