Chapter 65: Seclusion

Xu Yue sat crosslegged, a mysterious aura could be felt around.

"My comprehension of the Dao of Destiny has surpassed that of the Dao of Karma," thought Xu Yue as she silently meditated.

She then sat up and picked up her sword and silently began slashing the air.

Several months later

Xu Yue put her sword down with a smile on her face.

After exiting the Heart Pagoda her improvement speed has greatly grown.

"I should spend some time in seclusion," thought Xu Yue as she took out the resourses her master had given her to nourish her soul.

Seven years later

Xu Yue smiled as she felt the quality of her soul.

Compared to several years ago, it's strength could not be compared, even though she was technically at the same realm as before.

"I can finally begin," thought Xu Yue, with a normal smile on her face.

She then sat crosslegged and closed her eyes.

At this time, a transformation took place inside Xu Yue's sea of Consciousness, she began compressing her own soul using her spiritual sense.

Veins appeared on Xu Yue's forehead as she did this, but as time passed, her soul began to take a human shape, after some time passed, Xu Yue felt her soul stop trying to go back into it's original form.

The moment she took her spiritual sense out of her sea of Consciousness, a shocking feeling passed through Xu Yue's mind, right now she felt as is she was infinitely powerful, Xu Yue then unconsciously extended her spiritual sense as far as she could.

The landscape of the surrounding twenty li appeared in Xu Yue's mind, shocking her.

"That's a little bit bigger than I expected," thought Xu Yue, but sadly she could only see a small part of those twenty li as the vast majority was filled with formations stopping her from snooping around.

As she used her spiritual sense to look around, Xu Yue vaguely felt an energy filling Heaven and Earth.

Even though the feeling was vague, Xu Yue knew that this was Spiritual Energy.

Breaking through to the Soul Consolidation stage was not the end of Xu Yue's seclusion, but rather a beginning.

After this, Xu Yue continued practicing swordsmanship, pondering the Dao and further compressing her Soul.

This cycle continued for seventeen years, in this time, Xu Yue's mastery of the sword grew massively, she also surprisingly had several insights into the Daos she had comprehended.

Right now two Xu Yue's were sitting at a table next to each other, looking bored.

"This is no fun, you are not actually a clone," mumbled Xu Yue before the other one entered her body.

"But having your soul exit your body would be somewhat useful," mumbled Xu Yue under her breath.

"My soul is finally fully compressed," mumbled Xu Yue under her breath as she silently sat down.

As she Meditated, Xu Yue could feel several types of Spiritual Energy around her, she silently attracted some Icy Spiritual Energy into her body, as the energy entered her, Xu Yue completely disregarded any techniques and let her instinct guide her.

Using her instinct as a guide, the spiritual entered her meridians and then traveled in a cycle around her body, being fully refined and then going into her Dantian.

"This is how the first cultivation techniques were created," mumbled Xu Yue under her breath.

A moment later, a much larger amount of Icy Spiritual Energy entered Xu Yue, even though she could feel some pain Xu Yue actually knew her limits very well, as such she did not cause any damage.

After the Spiritual Energy entered her Dantian, Xu Yue silently repeated what she had just done once again.

Nine hours later

Xu Yue knew that right now, her Dantian was fully filled up, as she tried to put more spiritual energy inside of it, a transformation took place, the spiritual energy inside of her Dantian then began compressing, Xu Yue hurriedly used her spiritual Sense to help achieve further compression.

In merely a few minutes the spiritual energy inside of her Dantian was compressed over twelve times, after that, both Xu Yue's Soul and body, received a large increase in strength.

"The second layer of Qi Refining," mumbled Xu Yue under her breath.

After thinking about some things for a while, Xu Yue silently contacted Ming Yun using her spiritual sense.

"Any news that I should know?" asked Xu Yue as she used her hand to silently touch Ming Yun's cheek.

"There's only one thing," said Ming Yue with a slight blush on her face.

"What is it?" asked Xu Yue.

"Miss Bing Yue asked me to tell you that she is bored," said Ming Yun with a slight blush.

Hearing this, Xu Yue silently exited her room, being followed by Ming Yun, then walked inside Bing Yue's room.

Three days later,

Xu Yue walked outside of the room with a victorious smile on her face, she successfully suppressed the rebellion that was happening in her cave abode.

Ming Yun silently followed her, but the happy smile on her face was contrasted by the haggard look of her body.

"I will exit seclusion in ten years, no matter what happens," said Xu Yue as she gazed at Ming Yun.

"Yes, senior sister," said Ming Yun with a smile on her face.

"You should also get some rest," said Xu Yue, as she began flying out of her cave abode.

Hearing this, a smile appeared on Ming Yun's face, she then walked back to her room.

Xu Yue flew at high speed to her master's cave abode, as she entered it she saw her master and senior sister sitting at a table.

Looking at them, a smile appeared on Xu Yue's face as she could see some things.

"Master, senior sister," said Xu Yue as she looked at the two of them.

Both Feng Shuchun and Liang Xiaoling were extremely surprised as they felt Xu Yue's cultivation base.

"You have reached Qi refining?" asked Feng Shuchun even though she knew the answer already.

Xu Yue merely nodded and smiled.
