"Ok let's put that issue aside, Josuke, Koichi, I want to apologize for everything you've had to put up with today, because of us." I said, while bowing my head in the direction of Josuke and Koichi. "I'm really grateful that you saved our lives."
Keicho looked at me with surprise at first, but then he grit his teeth and begrudgingly apologized with me. "I'm sorry as well. Thanks for fixing me up. I Owe you one"
In response, Koichi's eyes gleamed. He now had an opportunity to rope us in, and he was gonna take it. "What about the arrow? That electric guy doesn't look like the type to handle it responsibly."
"I'll help you stop him, if you want me to." I implicitly agreed, with a nervous smile. I knew what this meant, but I agreed anyway. I owed him at least this much.
After glaring at me, Keicho also agreed, with a sigh. "Haaah…I created this mess, I'll help clean it up."
"Alright. I'll hold you to it," Koichi replied with a smile.
"Haaah…I'll help in any way I can." Josuke added with a tired sigh.
"Do you have any Idea who the stand user was?" Koichi asked.
Keicho shook his head "not exactly, but I have a few Guesses" he said. "I had a notebook with the names and details of every person I pierced with the arrow listed, but the yellow guy took it from me during the scuffle."
"We'll work on finding him later, right now I'm not in the mood for it," Josuke declared. Thanks to him, all of us were healed, but he couldn't do the same for his own wounds, or his exhaustion.
He tried to stand up, but when put pressure on his arm to balance himself, he grimaced in pain and fell back down. Keicho, having noticed this, immediately stopped him "I'll help patch you up, it's the least I can do for my savior." He smirked sarcastically, as he summoned his stand once again.
Instead of his tiny soldiers, tanks, and attack helicopters, out came a tiny medical tent. It was filled with tiny medical supplies, and there were even tiny doctors, nurses and surgeons on standby ready to treat any wounds.
Normally after Keicho's done fighting, they find and treat any soldiers wounded in battle, even the dead, and restore them back to fighting condition. But now, they were working on a human patient.
They quickly got to work treating each and every scratch, cut, and bruise that Josuke got as a result of his successive stand battles. Of course, due to their small stature, they couldn't do it alone, so they worked in cooperation with the remaining soldiers of Keicho's Bad Company. The tanks remained on standby while the helicopters floated around Josuke, transporting medics with medical supplies, and soldiers. They were working in tandem to apply bandages, sterilizing alcohol, and pain relief medication to his wounds.
This was never shown in the manga, since Keicho died so early on, but it's one of the more gentle hidden abilities of his stand.
Of course the treatments themselves aren't any different from how a real doctor treats his patients. Josuke would have to wait for his wounds to heal naturally, but at least they wouldn't deteriorate or get infected. Luckily, he had no broken bones or any heavy damage. Most of the damage on him was the feedback from Crazy Diamond during his fight. He didn't actually take the brunt of the explosions or bullets fired by my brother's soldiers.
He would fully recover within a week, at least according to the words of the tiny Doctor. (Who for some reason spoke with a German accent.) "Don't worry young lad, these are merely surface wounds, you'll be up and at 'em again soon enough!" He said.
After that, I asked Josuke to repair our house, since he and Keicho pretty much destroyed the entire second floor during their fight. Thankfully, he agreed. Of course, he used his stand, Crazy Diamond, to do the repairs, at no risk to his own body. Thanks to this, he was able to completely restore the place within an hour.
When we took it over, this house was old, dusty and wretched. So Josuke went above and beyond when he repaired it. It was practically brand new by the time he was done. So of course, I pulled him into another tight hug and thanked him over and over again, though this time, with no Tears.
As payment for the repairs, we had the boys stay over for dinner, which was just Takeout Pizza. During which we talked about ourselves, school and our future plans. Me and Aniki had just recently moved into the neighborhood, and we had only just finished up the papers for transferring schools. Soon enough, I'd be going to class with Josuke and Koichi, which I think was a surprise to both of them.
Keicho ate silently for most of the meal. He just spoke once, when he asked them to look after me and make sure I didn't fail. He said they were free to beat me if they found I was failing.

Just like that, we made peace with the protagonist and the first member of his party. Soon enough, I'd become the second party member. I hoped I could become his best friend just like in the manga, but friendship was the kind of thing built over time, so I knew I couldn't rush it.
However, things at home obviously weren't so simple, I needed to have a serious talk with Keicho, in order to settle things for real. I waited for both the boys to go home and prepared myself for a heavy talk. This wasn't the kind of thing I wanted either Josuke or Koichi to hear.
Late at night, when it was just the two of us I called out to him and asked him if we could talk, to which he simply agreed.
"Aniki…About what happened earlier. I'm sorry I settled things without asking you."
"It's fine, it was the right call. In fact, I commend you. For once you made a smart decision." Keicho said with a smile. Though, it seemed to fade a little as the seconds went by. "You…you're finally growing up, aren't you? You're starting to make your own decisions now. Right? I'm glad." Somehow, I felt a sense of loss as he stared at me. "Maybe now you won't hold me back anymore" he said with chagrin.
I purposely ignored his complicated mood and smiled at him. "I'm glad you noticed, Aniki. I hope I can do more for you, now that I'm older, and wiser."
There was a brief pause. Both me and Keicho just stared at each other for what felt like eternity. Eventuality, I gave in.
With all the resolve I could muster, I spoke out about the matter that'd been bothering me all this time. "Aniki, about dad, and about the arrow. I want you to leave them both to me!"
"You? What can you do about dad?" He asked me, aggressively with an arched eyebrow.
I frowned and without any more pretense, I let him know my true thoughts. "Look, I know I'm not the most reliable gu-…girl but I've been with you all my life. I've seen how much this bothers you, how much this has hurt you. I don't want you to beat yourself up about this anymore."
I had to get him to agree to this for me, no matter what! So I continued. "Earlier, you said that you couldn't move forward while our father was in that state. But everything we've done since we went on this crusade, has only wound up hurting you! Please Aniki, I want you to rely on me. Just this once!"
At this he glared "How can I possibly depend on you, when you're always doing stupid shit??!!! You nearly died twice today because you didn't use your fucking head! The only reason we're both standing here, is because of that boy's power. You alone ain't capable." He angrily berated me.
Normally, I would have given up by now, but not today. "I know, but I'm begging you Aniki, I don't want you to get hurt again because of this…. This obsession! Just let me try!" I pleaded. "You just focus on the bigger picture. Focus on your future! I promise I'll find a way to cure him. I'll work with Josuke! Let me show you what I can do! Just let me try." I didn't want to save Keicho now, just to see him get killed later. I wanted to strangle that painful future in the cradle, before it had a chance to manifest itself. I had to get him to Let it go.
Keicho realized that I wasn't gonna stop arguing until he agreed.
He habitually raised his fist as he always did whenever he thought I had acted out. However, before taking a swing at me, he stared me in the eye. After a moment of hesitation, he sighed, and finally dropped his fist.
"Haah…I hope you know what you're doing Oku…Yasuko." He said, before turning around and walking away.
'The look he gave me just now. It was almost as if he were a father reluctantly watching his own child grow up, begrudgingly accepting the fact that time waits for no one.'
I grinned "Just leave it to me, Aniki! I'll find a way to save him. Just you wait!"
With this, I hoped to bring an end to my brother's pain. I hoped he could finally move on with his life, and let go of the past. But The future's unknown, now that I've changed the present.
