Because I'll be starting school late, I'm gonna need to take some remedial classes once a week after class, but I doubt I missed all that much.

Back when I was in school, I remember the first couple of weeks of every semester were spent reviewing old concepts from the last one.

Now in this life, I don't think it'll be too hard for me to catch up to the rest of the class. After all, This will be my second go around in highschool.

Sure, the first time was 15 years in the future, and in another country, but the curriculum shouldn't be too different from what I've learned before. Right?

With those thoughts in mind, I made my way over to Josuke's house and knocked on his door. However, Instead of seeing the teenage boy in a pompadour at the door, I saw a beautiful woman appear before me.

She had short, chin length dark(nearly black) blue hair and a beautiful pair of bright brown eyes. Her facial features were sharp, yet the impression she gave off was somehow soft and gentle. The casual loose pants and pink shirt on her added to that impression. She looked like someone who hadn't been angry in years.

As soon as she saw me, she nearly blinded me with the most dazzling smile I'd ever seen.

'OH MY GOD!' The little Joseph in my heart screamed. I could feel my face heating up just from the sight alone!

"Who might you be, little cutie?" She joyfully  asked, to which I could only nervously reply "h-hello onee-san my name is Oku-I mean Yasuko Nijimura, I came here looking for J-josuke Higashikata, Does he live here?". I must have been blushing so hard.

She raised an eyebrow at me with a playful smile and asked a rather unexpected question. "Oh? My boy finally got himself a girlfriend?"

For a moment, I was stunned by her expression, it was mesmerizing. I could feel my brain turning into mush just from her smile alone! I just wished she'd ask me more and more questions in my head.

However, after I processed her words, my flustered thoughts came to a screeching halt.

'What!!When did he get himself a GIRLFRIEND!!!? THAT WASN'T MENTIONED IN THE PLOT! Is she a stand user also? Please don't tell me it's her!'

"Y-You're his girlfriend?" I asked, full of doubt, confusion, and barely concealed envy.

Her beautiful smile remained unchanged, but her right eye twitched at my question. "Aren't you?" She asked.

I could almost see the question marks floating above her head.

"Oh! Uh no, I'm not, but miss, you're so pretty, I thought he already snapped you up!" I declared, excitedly.

She simply smiled back at me in response.

I felt a bucket of courage hit me, when I saw that smile. I suddenly felt like I had to say something. "If he hasn't, c-can I take you out for a date sometime?"

‘I said it!’ I could feel my heart pounding a mile a minute as I waited for her answer!

She showed a slight blush as she answered me. "Ara, aren't you a little charmer? My name is Tomoko Higashikata, I'm Josuke's mom, but you can keep calling me 'onee-san' if you'd like, Nice to meetcha." She said, while flashing me, with yet another dazzling smile. As she did, she politely stuck her hand out in greeting towards me. 'Oh my god!! this smile! I think I'm addicted to it.'

I politely shook her hand and smiled back at her. For a moment I indulged in the gentle warmth of her hand, then my mind finally processed her words.

My eyes immediately widened in shock. 'Wait, she's his mom!!??Why's she so hot!?"

However, she only let me pause on that thought for a split-second, before giving me an apologetic look. "Unfortunately, I have my husband, so I'll have to reject your invitation kiddo, but It's always nice to hear a compliment every now and then, thank you, little cutie."

My smile crumpled a bit, at her casual rejection. 'Aww. I'm so devastated…'

She chuckled a little as she saw how quickly I deflated. When I saw it, I couldn't help but think that even this part of her was charming.

'Damn! I guess I'll have to forgive her for that. Seeing that smile alone has already made my day! Jesus Crist! Why are mom's in the Jojo'verse so fucking hawt!?'

"Anyway, if you're looking for Josuke, he's still getting ready. You're more than welcome to come inside and wait for him" she added as she turned around, and happily led me into her home.

Apparently, Josuke was still taking his time styling his hair.

'I imagine it takes quite a bit of effort and time for him to set up that glorious pompadour of his.'

As I followed the beauty into her home, something she said earlier, stopped me dead in my tracks.

'Wait, did she just say 'husband'? Wasn't she single in the manga?'

"Something wrong, Yasuko-chan?" she asked, noticing my abnormality.

"N-no, I just thought something strange." I replied. She hummed in acknowledgement and kept moving forward as I followed behind her.

She then led me into the kitchen, sat me down at the dinner table, and offered me a cup of black tea.

'Wait a minute, isn't she a lot more gentle now, than she was in the manga? I don't want to say she was a bitch in the original story, but she was tough, strong, and had a quick temper.'

I remember, when the original Tomoko was first introduced, she beat up a frivolous man who was cat-calling her, on the way home from work, just because he annoyed her.

There was this underlying roughness to her, that was always brimming under the surface. Pissing her off would have been a huge mistake. At least, that's how I interpreted her character.

Although, she wasn't mean to everyone. She was very good to her family, and friends but her form of kindness was definitely strict. She'd rather beat them into shape than do something 'useless' like talking with them.

She didn't appear much in the manga, but when she did, Her relationship with her son, Josuke, as I understood it, was almost sibling-like. Throughout the story, she quarreled and fought with him every now and then, to get him to do things like his homework, or to help out with the chores around the house. She'd get physical and kick his ass in order to make him get up and do things.
