Chapter 14: [Vol. 2] [Chapter 14: Chain] {14}

Nellson flew in the air, when the distance was close to Suga, Nellson then flew back, and headed towards the back of Suga, during this process it appears that Nellson's body size shrinks to match Suga's body. Suga appears to be standing with the attacking stance and holding the hilt of his katana upside down with his right hand, Nellson then flew to grip the protector on Suga's back and immediately flew forward while carrying Suga.

           Seeing the arrival of Suga and Nellson, the Hyena Yokai prepared. Nellson flew quickly in front of the Hyena Yokai, but suddenly Nellson flew to the side and moved behind the Hyena yokai. The Hyena Yokai immediately turned around, it appeared that if Nellson had let go of Suga who landed steadily on the concrete floor, he then immediately lunged forward. Below the Hyena's Yokai body, between his legs. The Hyena yokai was about to stop Suga by clawing at him, and probably would. But this actually makes the hyena Yokai make a mistake. It appeared that Nellson had flown down from above, the hyena Yokai realized it too late until his head was hit hard by a blow from Nellson's three hard left wings from above. The Hyena Yokai appeared to be staggering, making its height decrease because its legs were standing unsteadily. Suga immediately continued his attack, running between the Hyena Yokai's legs, then slashing the lower half of his body, making the hyena Yokai even more unmoved.

           Suga immediately turned around, then ran while slashing the four legs of this Hyena Yokai. Suga is now in front of the hyena Yokai, he then sheathed his katana back. Shortly after, this Hyena Yokai finally collapsed, receiving a combined attack from Nellson and Suga.

           Even so, the Hyena Yokai looked even more furious, while waiting for the wound on his leg to heal, he then crawled on the ground quickly towards Suga, about to attack him. Nellson immediately took action, he then landed behind Suga and used his six wings to wrap Suga in the protection of his wings as a shield. The Hyena Yokai then punched with its claws towards Nellson's wings repeatedly, until each blow created a blast of wind and splashes a spark of fire. It didn't take long to make Nellson's defense falter, Nellson immediately moved backward while carrying Suga, Nellson then flew up. The hyena Yokai then realized that he was very close to the outskirts of the top floor of this apartment building. Nellson flew low and then released Suga from his grip, Suga landed on the concrete floor steadily.

           The Hyena Yokai appeared to have started to stand back up on its four legs quite stable, he then immediately turned around. As soon as hyena yokai turned around, Nellson and Suga were already waiting to attack him, with Nellson flying low and Suga running on the surface. Nellson flew ahead of Suga, heading towards the Hyena Yokai. As soon as Nellson's distance was close enough, Nellson then struck his wings at the Hyena Yokai, the hyena Yokai appeared to be able to parry it without a problem.

           But Suga had been waiting, which then immediately slashed the Hyena's front chest hard. Suga continued the attack with a slash, the hyena Yokai then parried it. When the Hyena Yokai's focus switched to Suga, Nellson took advantage of this by attacking him with his wings and hitting the Hyena Yokai's face hard, until the Hyena Yokai appeared to stagger again. Nellson continued the attack with both footed kicks, but this time the hyena's Yokai parried. Suga immediately took advantage of the gap and attacked the Hyena Yokai again, and slashed it with a heavy blow. The combination of Nellson and Suga's attacks that filled the void finally landed a barrage of attacks on the hyena Yokai, which he was getting closer and closer to the edge, until finally on one occasion, Nellson and Suga's attacks hit him at the same time, the hyena Yokai then fell from the top floor of the apartment building.

           The hyena Yokai landed heavily in front of the apartment building at the back of this apartment building, destroying the surrounding surface. Ken who saw this appeared surprised by the battle that was taking place in front of him. Nellson then gripped the protector on Suga's back, then brought Suga flying with him, descending in front of this hyena Yokai. Nellson and Suga then landed not too far in front of the Hyena Yokai. The Hyena Yokai appeared to be trying to stand up with difficulty, its breath was also panting, and black smoke began to evaporate from several parts of its body. Suga then immediately concentrated his strength, his hands then crossed in front of his face, still holding the katana in his left hand.

           Suga threw his hands right and left, which at the same time burst out 8 chains from 4 sides of Suga's right and left forearms. This chain looks sturdily carved, with a spear tip. Suga then moved his hand forward, where the chain also moved forward, slithering and standing like a snake, as if the chain was alive. The Hyena Yokai still can't appear to stand up steadily, it even looks like it's about to fall back down. Three pairs of these chains then began to rapidly entangle the Hyena Yokai's body, Suga then grasped his katana with both hands, and a pair of chains from Suga's forearm then wrapped around his katana blade which was still in its sheathed state.

           These chains propagate on the Hyena Yokai's body from the neck, body, to the feet. After this chain wrapped around the Hyena Yokai, Suga then stomped his katana on the surface of the parking lot like a staff, which at the same time, made an echoing thumping sound, around Suga there appeared to be something like distortion of hot steam. Immediately, this Hyena Yokai reacted, its body appeared to be under a heavy load, and again almost collapsed. The Hyena Yokai appeared to be trying to defend its body with difficulty to stay standing, its expression looked troubled, but its injuries were getting better as it regenerated. This hyena Yokai noticed Suga, then said

           “That cursed technique…”

This Hyena Yokai looks angry, looking sharply at Suga with a sinister expression. Seeing something unusual happened to Suga, made Ken look surprised.

           As time went on, it appeared that Suga was feeling heavy, and exhausted, he was trying to hold on. Nellson immediately tightened his body, which then began to grow again like before, and was equal to the size of the Hyena Yokai. Nellson then immediately flew up onto the back of the Hyena Yokai, then stepped on it. It appears that the Hyena Yokai is feeling heavy and almost falls, but it turns out that the Hyena Yokai is still able to survive to stay standing. The hyena Yokai realized that if this continued, he would lose.

           Elsewhere, quite far from them, Ken appeared to be watching with amazement at what was happening in front of him, his facial expression looking disbelieving. The Hyena Yokai looked around, and immediately noticed Ken's presence. The Hyena Yokai then tightened the muscles of his right hand, it appeared that if one of the furrows of his armor began to stick out and lengthen like an irregular knife, then with all his strength, the Hyena Yokai threw his right front leg very strongly, crashing into the ground surface until it crumbled, this action made Suga surprised. The hyena's Yokai armor that was sticking out earlier then shot quickly into a fairly large sharp chunk, with a length of approximately one meter and a width of 0.25 meters. This chunk shot like a cannonball, and its aim was none other than Ken. Suga quickly realized the purpose of the hyena's Yokai, Suga then shouted

           "Nellson!"

Nellson immediately flew flying towards Ken with a strong kick start, causing a burst of energy that cracked the surface around him, but this didn't have much effect on the hyena Yokai which only budged a little.

           Nellson quickly sped up, catching up with the piece of armor that was thrown earlier, then immediately shielded Ken, wrapping Ken with his wings. Nellson landed so fast that it shattered the asphalt floor surrounding him, in the parking lot. Only a few milliseconds later, the chunk hit Nellson's body, so that if been looked at it, Nellson's body appeared to collide with the piece of armor at the same time. Nellson loosened his wings, it appeared that Ken was in front of him while sitting, using his arms to protect his face, and closing his eyes. Ken opened his eyes, and saw Nellson's big body in front of him, Ken appeared okay.
