Many said that no matter how deep the wounds to the Yokais they could inflict, there would be no blood flowing, and from behind these deep wounds nothing could be seen but chunks of flesh as hard as the skin. Even though of course, the Yokai still feels pain from the wounds on its body and still need to eat”

They both arrived in front of a carved double door, Makoto then said

"You go first, I want to get something"

Ken nodded, then replied

“Yes, of course, grandpa”

Makoto walked away from here, and Ken entered the door in front of him.

Ken is now in a practice hall on the 2nd floor of the house, with its high ceilings beautifully carved. This hall combines a 2-level high building with a hallway that surrounds it, in this hallway there are long chairs without backrests, making this hall similar to a stadium or sports hall, this hallway can be accessed by stairs here or another entrance to this training hall on the third floor. It appears that this room has high door windows that lead to the front yard of the house. Ken is seen wearing the glove puppet Asanuma on his right hand. Ken looked around with a look of amazement on his face. Sometime later, Makoto came back, he walked in from the entrance of this room, he appeared to be carrying a katana sword with an unusual shape in his hand. This katana has a sturdy engraving on the scabbard and hilt, which is glossy black and purplish colored. Makoto then said

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Before we start I want to show you something"

Ken's expression turned curious. Makoto then pulled his katana from its scabbard. Behind it, the blade is the same color as the hilt and scabbard, the blade appears to be carved with a sharp pattern that extends to the curvature at a third of the length of the blade from the hilt. This unusual katana shape caught Ken's attention, he then said

"Why did grandpa bring a katana?"

Makoto replied

“This katana will have something to do with what I am about to show you”

Ken looked curious. Makoto then continued talking

"Now try calling Asanuma"

Ken looked confused, he then replied

"Calling? Is it like before?”

Makoto nodded, then replied

“Yes, as before”

Ken then said

"Come, Asanuma"

Ken said it earnestly, but nothing happen. Seeing this, Ken looked confused again. Ken repeated it several times, but still, nothing happened. Ken then said

"It's strange, even though before, I could directly call him"

Seeing this, Makoto then sheathed his katana back, this appeared to catch Ken's attention. Makoto then said

“Unexpectedly, our training will change. First of all, we will practice how to summon Asanuma"

Ken looked surprised, he then replied

"Call? Haven't I called him before?”

Makoto replied

"There are several things that cause you to not be able to summon Asanuma"

Ken's expression turned astonished. Makoto continues talking

Ken looked surprised, he then replied

“Don't want to be called by me? But why?"
