Chapter 2: 97

Ethan just announced their first out of the three agenda or announcement or revelation, whatever it is that they want to call it. Next month would be the grand opening of his and Lucas's business in-country J. After 5 years he is finally ready to go back to the country that he had secretly fled just for the sake of not being discovered by his family. The very family who had to cause him great pain and suffering.

"Now, I will be the one who will announce the second one" Lucas stood up and went to where his wife is. He took the mic and said those words as he looks at his wife eye to eye.

"Hey, brother, All of us here know how much you love your wife so you don't have to make that sweet gesture of yours." Said Mikel as he notice how lovingly his brother looks at his wife while placing his hand around Ethan's back.

"*smirk* Shut up. Anyway, Mom and Dad, I think you should start thinking of getting much healthier. Mikel and Louis aren't just the only ones expecting their second child. Ethan and I are also expecting our second child"

"…" Like a bomb, the announcement of Lucas was like a bomb that silence everyone aside from those who already knew about the pregnancy matter. No one said anything for at least 5 minutes.

"E-Ethan…dear, is what my son just said true?" asked Mother Smith as the first one who wanted to confirm it she directly asked her son-in-law. Although she is very much aware that her oldest son wouldn't lie.

"*giggle* yes mom, I'm actually three months pregnant"

"KYAAA!!!! OH MY GOD! Honey! We got more grandkids coming!. Louis also told me not long ago that he is also pregnant. Congratulations to the two of you, I am so happy that Asher would now be an older brother."

"HAHAHAHA!!! I never thought that my sons would make their wives pregnant at the same time! HAHAHA This is a great blessing indeed." Said Father Smith who was so happy about the sudden announcement of Lucas. And with him saying that made almost everyone in the venue laugh as well.

"It was completely unplanned though plus brother got Ethan pregnant first before I did. Ethan is just a week early than Louis so the babies would be born in the same month *big smile*" Mikel just wanted to inform the fact that his baby and Ethan's baby would be born in the same month.

"OH MY! Is that true? Ethan? Louis?" asked Mother Smith which gain the nod of both omegas.

"So Ethan, what is your last announcement?" Mikel was also curious about it since he knew about the other two announcements since he is working with Ethan and he is also helping with almost everything with regards to their new branch in country J. The branches of their business like the clothing, jewelry, and other fashion stuff would have their own stores within the Skyline Mall.

"Well…my husband doesn't know about this right honey?" Ethan looks at his husband teasingly.

"Yes, what is it about ?" If their guest is already clueless about their announcement, Lucas is also clueless when it comes to the third announcement of his wife. This is why he was also shocked when Ethan said that he has 3 announcements to all of their guest when in fact he only knew two.

"Well, my dear hubby I had a check-up with Dr. Janice over there and she told me that…you had worked hard and made me pregnant with twins *SMILE*"

"…twins?..."

"yes, twins"

"really?"

"Yes...AAHH!! LUCAS!" Lucas suddenly lifted his wife from excitement.

"HAHAHA!!! YOU'RE CARRYING TWINS! YES! HAHAHA!!!" Lucas was so happy as he carries his wife with happiness. He only wanted to have kids with his wife and have a very happy family. But to think that they would have twins as their second children made him even happier.

Everyone else was also happy for the couple as they stood up to clap for them. Mother and Father Smith went towards the very happy couple to give their congratulations and warm hugs. Asher, being a kid was clueless about what is happening and why his father suddenly laugh out loud and carried his mother.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Asher went towards his parents who are now talking to his grandparents.

"Baby! Come here" said Ethan as he opens his arms wide for his child to hug him but Lucas stop him. Being the loving husband, he carried his son instead of his wife since Ethan is pregnant plus he is carrying twins.

"Daddy, why did you laugh and carried mommy?" asked little Asher

"well, your mommy is carrying with him your younger sisters or brothers" With a gentle voice, Lucas explained to his son the reason. Some of his friends find it hard to believe that their strict friend is right there laughing and talking gently towards his kid.

"huh?"

"Did you notice that mommy had a big tummy right?"

"Yes, but you said mommy is just very healthy"

"yes, he is very healthy but inside the tummy of mommy is your younger sisters or brothers"

"sisters or brothers?"

"yes, there are two babies inside the tummy of mommy"

"TWO?! Mommy, does it hurt?"

"*giggle* baby, it doesn't hurt yet, the babies aren't that big yet to kick so it doesn't hurt yet. So do you think you can become a great big brother to your little siblings?" Said Ethan.

"YES! I will!" With a bright smile, the little guy happily answered his mother. After the announcement, everyone had finished eating their desserts and congratulated the couple. After that, they each leave the venue wherein the assistants of Lucas, Ethan, and Mikel give the invitation for the grand opening of Auror Grand Hotel and Skyline Mall in-country J. Just like what Ethan had said they would receive an invitation and all they have to do was to confirm their attendance for the grand opening.

Meanwhile, Ethan and the rest of the Smith family would be staying at the hotel for that night. Since Ethan and Lucas would be leaving the country tomorrow and they would be leaving their son under the guidance of his grandparents so it would be their last night to sleep with him.

"Mommy, when would you and Daddy come back?" asked Asher who was being carried by his father as they went towards their hotel room.

"Hm…Asher how about you count 5 nights for us starting tomorrow night" said Ethan

"5 nights?"

"yes and after 5 nights daddy and I will be back to our brave baby Asher"

"OK!"

"Good! So would you promise mommy that you will be a good boy to Nana and Papi while we are gone"

"Promise!"

"Great!, mommy and daddy would make sure to be home after 5 nights. You can call us whenever you feel lonely or whenever you miss us. You can also call us when you want us to buy something for you ok?"

"OK!" As they finally arrived inside their room, Ethan put their son to sleep while Lucas finishes some of the work he need to do. He will need to meet up with some business partners he had in-country S at the same time he would need to accompany his wife during the trip. It wouldn't be weird that he became overprotective of him after knowing that Ethan is currently pregnant with their second child. That protectiveness increases the moment his wife announced that he is actually carrying twins. Lucas had decided to increase the bodyguard Ethan but he knew that the omega wouldn't want that at all.
