Chapter 7 Part 2: Let’s Fight!
Under this efficient system, we seemed to have reached a stable period. As one of the combatants, I was able to receive a couple of items.
I got them from killing a few Turtle bugs, but there was nothing like the Karambit. So most of them are useless.
“Ha!”
An Yu-soo tried to burrow his arms using the movement technique I taught him. His physical abilities and execution of the technique was pretty decent, but he is still far off to be my match.
I shove his fist lightly and naturally swung my elbow right up to his face before stopping.
An Yu-soo, who had closed his eyes tightly in surprise, opened them secretly and gave a disgruntled expression. But I know that even this is a calculated move.
Shu Shu Shuk!
I quickly moved away, an arrow was then stuck from the place that I used to stand on. An Yu-Ra who caught me by surprised, grinned behind me. She was carrying a bow, I’m still not used to that glistening eyes, which were like a beast trying to hunt its prey. However, I finally figured out their movement pattern.
“I told you…”
I easily dodged a round kick from An Yu-Ra. I then grabbed her legs with some force, and she quickly lost her balance. She landed on the ground with a loud thump! and then groaned loudly.
“You guys are too obvious.”
I quickly caught an arrow flying at the back of my head. It was only a wooden arrow which was slightly sharpened for our practice sparring, but when handled by a skilled archer, it becomes a sufficient lethal weapon. I felt a slight tear on the skin of my palm, but I ignored it.
The durability of my body hasn’t recovered yet.
An Yu-Soo hurriedly grabbed the lying An Yu-Ra back, and maneuvered her body by swinging it towards me and attacked. However, I was faster. My fingernails suddenly touched the nape of An Yu-Ra’s neck. I can feel the goosebumps on her skin. Her pupils dilated, while peering close to me.
“Ah, really! I can’t win against my Noona!”
“We lost again!”
An Yu-soo didn’t even think of getting off the floor. Park Su-il, who had been watching from the side, handed him water with familiarity. He nodded at him lightly and took a drink. He then looked at me proudly.
“Noona, thanks to you, our twins don’t have time to get bored!”
“Yeah! We’ve been assigned to scout the laundry area a couple of times, it was quite boring! Good thing you’re here!”
“You guys did well!”
Uncle Su-il was the most delighted.
“Seo-Ha Noona, you’re too ruthless…”
“It’s just a simple fight, since you guys mostly deal with monsters.”
I tapped An Yu-Ra on the head while she was following me.
“Didn’t I tell you to fight while thinking?”
“Like that’s so easy to do!”
“…”
Was it that hard?
These guys are quite shameless, so they are very excellent at subtly turning off people’s nerves. That’s something worth recognizing.
“Wait a minute. I’m going to visit Mr. Woo-do.”
“To Teacher Woo-do?”
“Yeah I think it’s better if you guys use what you learn, with actual experience.”
The two opened their eyes and stared at each other. Their twinkling eyes were full of curiosity.
“Really?”
“Yep.”

I was given permission immediately. Well I’m training the combatants, so there’s no reason to refuse. Plus, we’re one of the best combatants in the gym so no back up was needed. I packed lightly, so I can travel with ease.
We then headed out casually.
“I think it’s the first time I’ve scouted with Noona!”
“She’s in another scouting team, so there’s no choice!”
“Shh.”
I warned them to be quiet, and they quickly shut their mouth. Since, this isn’t a normal scouting mission, I thought we could take things lightly.
Of course it doesn’t mean that I’m not taking this Gate seriously.
“There are traces of a monster. It seemed that a new one has appeared around here.”
There were footprints on the ground. This area is quite easy to hunt, because it was only occupied by Turtle Bugs.
“Does it look small?”
An Yu-Ra added curiously as she used her hands to measure the size of the footprints.
“The smaller the size, the higher the probability of it being a monster with intelligence.”
“A monster?”
“A monster.”
There are monsters with high intelligence similar to humans, although not very common. Judging from the shape of the footprints, this monster is probably not that dangerous. I noticed that its hind claws are stamped far behind the front claws, maybe… It seemed to be a White-Eyed Goblin.
He must have separated from its group… Then it’s good enough for practice.
We started following the trail. We also encountered a few turtle bugs along the way, but we quickly avoided it. It wasn’t long before we finally caught a glimpse of the monster.
– Woodeuk, wooddeuk.
It looked like it was already in the middle of hunting and eating Turtle Bugs. The twins were watching behind me, with bated breaths.
“It’s a white-eyed goblin.”
“It looks like its name.”
“Yeah.”
The most distinctive feature of this monster is it’s white eyes. Which made it difficult to discern whether it had pupils or not. It had hairy fur, and horns were protruding out of its head, hence the name “Goblin”.
Still we can’t ignore the characteristics of group hunting monsters. They usually know how to strategize. This is a very suitable opponent for the twins, who only knows how to deal with turtle bugs.
“I’ll stand behind, and just give you two advice. I’ll only step in once it gets dangerous. Try catching it if it’s possible, don’t kill, Okay?”
The twins nodded, then quickly grabbed their bows tightly. Since, they don’t have a tank-specialist around, they have to rely on their agility, and combat prowess to fight. They also need to maintain a distance to be able to shoot their arrows well. Having A ranger duo is not a very good combination… But if they just maintain their distance, they’d be able to deal sufficient damage.
“Okay. We’ll show you our skills!”
“That’s right!”
The twins quickly stormed off. They seemed to have thought out a strategy. Both settled on either side of the Goblin. It seemed that the White-Eyed Goblin hasn’t noticed them yet. It was too busy catching and eating Turtle Bugs.
Swish-
An Yu-Soo then quickly shot an arrow towards it.

TL NOTE:
Hello~
It was fun to see Han Seo-Ha Teaching the twins. Also, yhe way they call her Noona~is just too adorable. Compared to when they first met, where the twins seemed like a psychotic duo, I think they’re better now.
Anyways, See you next chapter!
