Lin Ruoxi looked at Fu Qinglun, completely bewildered. “Was it that you actually found out long before? How could you tell that I wasn’t Lin Shiyu?”
No.
No way.
Her face was totally identical to Lin Shiyu, how could he even tell?
Fu Qinglun lifted his eyes, looking at Lin Ruoxi impassively as the corners of his lips raised into a wry smile. “Do you know how long I’ve known Shi’shi for? It’s been almost…20 years…”
20 years, he knew her so well, down to her every move, her every smile.
20 years, it was enough for her to fuse into his blood and bones.
How was it possible for him not to realize that she wasn’t Shi’shi?
All the color drained from Lin Ruoxi’s face and she trembled. “So you already knew I wasn’t her, but you still put up an act and acted along. You did all of that to investigate where I got the drugs from. At the end of the day, you did everything just for Lin Shiyu!
“Fu Qinglun, I love you too, not any less than Lin Shiyu. Why won’t you even give me even a glance? Why? I can’t accept it, I really can’t accept it!”
Lin Ruoxi cried so loudly. She had planned and staged this act for so long, but she had been exposed so easily.
He knew it.
Even Little Shushu, Little Shushu knew who his Mommy was.
The only person she had fooled was herself.
Fu Qinglun didn’t have the patience to continue listening, not even bothering to give her another glance. He instructed the butler, “Where is Lu Qi’er now? The AIDS center or the mental asylum? Send Lin Ruoxi over too, let them reunite.”
“Yes, Young Master.”
The butler gave the two bodyguards a signal and they dragged Lin Ruoxi out of the room.
“Ah!” Lin Ruoxi screamed. “I don’t want to go to the AIDS center, I don’t want to go to the mental asylum. Fu Qinglun, why are you so cruel towards me?”
“Hold on,” Fu Qinglun suddenly spoke.
Lin Ruoxi’s face lit up with glee, thinking that he had changed his mind. He…
Fu Qinglun’s gaze landed on the beautiful face that looked exactly like Lin Shiyu. “You don’t deserve to have this face, ruin her appearance before sending her there.”
“…”
Lin Ruoxi’s eyes widened, feeling like she had been pushed into an abyss.
The bodyguards dragged her away and she couldn’t make a single sound in the process. So many years had passed and he hadn’t changed a bit. He was still that same young master of the Fu family, the same gentleman who had this cold, menacing aura hidden away. However, he had given all his affection to only one woman, treating her ever so gently.
That woman was… Lin Shiyu.
…
After making sure everything was taken care of, Fu Qinglun stretched his arms out, lifting Little Shushu up from the cot. “Son, let Daddy take you to find Mommy.”
Little Shushu looked at his daddy with clear and bright eyes. Fu Qinglun kissed his cheek before they set off.
Along the corridor, Tang Mo’er held Little Lemon’s hand as they walked over together. Little Lemon quickly ran over once she spotted the familiar figure in front. “Daddy! Little Brother!”
Fu Qinglun ruffled Little Lemon’s hair. “Little Lemon, where’s Mommy?”
“Mommy? Isn’t Mommy with Daddy?”
Fu Qinglun instantly drew his brows together.
“Isn’t Shiyu with you? We haven’t seen Shiyu since last night,” Tang Mo’er said.
Fu Qinglun’s heart thumped, a voice resounded in his ears—-Shi’shi is gone, Shi’shi is missing.
Where did she go?
…
Lin Shiyu really had gone missing.
No one knew where she was.
Fu Qinglun sent his men to search the entire White House, but they hadn’t found a trace of her. They even looked through the surveillance videos, but they still couldn’t find her whereabouts.
It was as though she had vanished into thin air.
In the room, Auntie Su coaxed Little Shushu while holding him in her arms, but Little Shushu continued bawling. He wanted Mama.
Auntie Su glanced over at Fu Qinglun, who stood in front of the windows. He was smoking, the smoke blurring his face, the entire atmosphere stifling.
He no longer wanted his son.
He couldn’t be bothered with his son anymore.
He continued smoking cigarettes the entire afternoon even when his son continued crying.
No one dared to speak up.
It was dead silent.
“Daddy.” Little Lemon walked over. “Daddy, Little Brother and I both miss Mommy. Where has Mommy gone? Can you please bring Mommy back?”
Fu Qinglun lowered his eyes, looking at Little Lemon. Little Lemon rubbed her eyes with her tiny fists, tears rolling down her cheeks.
What was he going to do? Without her, their family was broken.
“Daddy, I need to admit to something. I gave away the things you hid in the drawer… to Mommy…”
Fu Qinglun’s entire body stiffened.
The things he hid in the drawer… the crystal chain and the thumb drive.
The crystal chain was filled with his love.
The thumb drive that had her memories in it.
So, she had recollected everything.
It turned out she had recovered her memories.
Fu Qinglun slowly crouched over, hugging Little Lemon. “Alright, let Daddy take you to look for Mommy.”
…
Fu Qinglun took a private jet to return to Karghalik and the luxury limousine sped along the road.
The butler asked, “Young Master, where should we go to look for Young Madam?”

As Fu Qinglun turned his head, he looked out of the window into the bustling city. He had no idea either. Earlier, he had mulled over everything, recollecting the places they had been together over the past 20 years.
She was only six years old when he first met her… But he had mistaken Lu Qi’er for her, doting on Lu Qi’er for many years.
When they were at the Lin family later, he met her again. Just from that one glance, he could never forget about her.
Then when she was 18, he had married her forcibly, but she only spent one night in the Fu family before she flew away the second day.
Three years later, she came back to Karghalik. Just how long, how long was it before she told him to leave? Then she had left Karghalik too soon after.
After that, they met in Mexico. They held a wedding and he spent four months with her at Castle Guding.
But the good times never seemed to last between them. Once again, she had left.
To be honest, he could no longer remember how many times she had left him already. He had lost count. He was never able to keep her. They had known each other for 20 years, but they barely had any memorable moments together.
All these years, they had parted so many times.
He had no idea where home was.
He had no idea where he should go to look for her.
The limousine passed by T University and Fu Qinglun moved his lips. “Stop here.”
“Yes, Young Master.”
The limousine came to a stop.
Seeming to be in a trance, Fu Qinglun alighted from the limousine, walking into T University.
…
It had been many years since he last came back to T University. With his high IQ, he entered T University back then and his prodigious records became a legend.
A few years later, while he was overseas pursuing his further studies, a friend mentioned that a girl named Lin Shiyu had broken his records.
Fu Qinglun stood under a maple tree, the yellow maple leaves all over the ground and a lithe figure appeared in front of him. She wore a white dress with thick raven hair all let down. She held a few textbooks in her arms and approached him.
Lin Shiyu.
The corners of Fu Qinglun’s lips curved up. He lifted his hand, wanting to hold her hand. But he hadn’t touched anything, the figure in front of him slowly faded away.
It was an illusion.
It was as though he had seen him and her many years ago. Back when he just came back from the UK, the many times he parked his car outside of the campus entrance, secretly waiting for her to come out, just to take a glance of her.
These lyrics came up in his mind.
When I’m in a trance, I could somehow spot you amongst the crowd.
You stood out from the crowd, but in the blink of an eye you disappeared just like that.
If we’re really fated…
He slowly closed his eyes, beginning to call her name in his mind.
Lin Shiyu…
This name was everywhere in his life. No one else could ever make him feel such feelings of love, no one could make him want to dote on them so much.
He could feel his eyes stinging even when they were closed. A murmur left his lips. “Shi’shi, where have you gone?”
Lessons had just ended and the students of T University all began walking out of the gate. They could spot Fu Qinglun’s tall figure from afar.
He wore a custom-made white shirt, his sleeves were rolled up, giving him a somewhat casual look. With a pair of black trousers, his aura was still as dignified and charming.
—-Who’s that? His back view is so suave.
—-Do we have such a handsome senior in T University?
Everyone started speculating when someone shouted, “Look, who’s standing behind that handsome senior? Wow, she’s so gorgeous. She’s just like a fairy.”
“Ah, I know who they are!” someone shouted excitedly, “It’s the two legends of T University, Senior Fu and Senior Lin!”
Oh God!
Everyone gasped, whipping out their phones to film the scene.
But Fu Qinglun couldn’t hear the commotion behind him, he clenched his fists tightly as his veins twitched wildly, hot blood coursing through his body. He had no other way to let go of the pain in his heart now.
A pleasant voice suddenly resounded in his ears. “Hey, Fu Qinglun!”
—-Hey, Fu Qinglun!
Fu Qinglun’s body stiffened, his clenched up fists loosened. He slowly turned around.
A beautiful face appeared in front of his blurry vision. It was Lin Shiyu.
Lin Shiyu wore a white dress, the breeze blowing her jet black hair around. It was as though he had returned to many years ago.
She walked out of the campus, approaching him.
When she smiled, she exuded an incomparable ethereal charm that took his breath away.
“Hey, Fu Qinglun!”
Fu Qinglun looked at her, he immediately strode towards her.
The same scene appeared in Lin Shiyu’s dreams over the many years. It was of Zi Jun wearing a clean white shirt, walking over to her.
It was now.
She stretched her legs, running over into his embrace. Fu Qinglun quickly opened his arms to catch her, hugging her tightly, wanting to become one with her.
“Where did you go? Where exactly have you been?” He buried his tear-covered face in her hair, gritting his teeth as he asked the same question over again so persistently.
He was so frightened.
So frightened of losing her.
Lin Shiyu stretched her arms out, hugging his trim waist. “I didn’t go anywhere, I’ve been following you, I’ve always been right behind you.”
She had been behind him.
After so many years, she had been there for him. Even after every parting, she hadn’t really walked away from him, she just couldn’t bear to face him.
They have been on the same plane, the original place all along.
Fu Qinglun jolted, hugging her even more tightly in his arms as he murmured into her ear, “Shi’shi, I really love you so much. Please, don’t ever leave me again.”
Dong! The bell of T University’s clock chimed.
To like only one person, to stay in only one place to love that special someone, was truly special. The entire city was filled with echoes of his love.
With a smile gracing her features, Lin Shiyu only nodded in response. “Mm.”
I will never leave you.
It was all he ever wanted.
…
End of Fu and Lin.
