Gu Wei stared at his phone in a daze. They were having a nice chat, right? If so, why did this primary school student suddenly start scolding other customers?

The way of this business world was really wild.

Seeing that the backyard of Chi Yunkai’s business was about to catch fire1shit are hitting the fan, he decided to persuade with soft words.

[Please Give Me Money If You Love Me]: Dearie, don’t say that about them, you are essentially the same.

[One Hundred Thousand Volts]: …

[One Hundred Thousand Volts]: Is it because I am being too abrupt, or are you just too easy about this?

The sleeping pills Gu Wei drank earlier finally started to kick in, and it made his eyelids grow heavy. He fought it, because this business deal had not yet been settled.

[Please Give Me Money If You Love Me]: I’m going to bed now. I’ll tell you about the details of the subscription package tomorrow, okay? You should go to bed early too.

[One Hundred Thousand Volts]: I…

[Please Give Me Money If You Love Me]: You can’t stay up late. Or else, Daddy will spank you.

Gu Wei couldn’t keep his eyes open anymore. The phone slipped from his hand before he could close his phone chatting app. So he didn’t see the “the other party is typing…” on the chat interface that lasted for more than ten minutes.

In the Jiang family’s villa, Jiang Xun looked at the chat interface of the mobile phone and laughed because he was pissed.

God damn it. Who was he calling himself “daddy”? Is he playing with him?

This good boy… truly, he wasn’t really good at all!

Jiang Xun bowed his head, and spent ten minutes in the chat input box trying to compose a lecture about the moral and health aspects of how wrong it is to seek a sugar daddy, especially since he is so young. He also tried to express his intention stemming from his stance of protecting his fans.

But after thinking about it, Jiang Xun finally deleted his essay-slash-lecture.

No matter whether it was good or bad, this is the life that Gu Wei chose. Although Jiang Xun was seriously against it, he will not interfere in the end.

 After all—

Idols should stay away from the lives of their fans!

Gu Wei was woken up by the alarm clock at four o’clock in the morning. He then rushed into the company’s car and headed  all the way to the airport. He got on the plane at six o’clock, and flew to a small country in Europe, where he was going to participate in the fifth episode recording of “Wandering Together”.

Gu Wei hadn’t slept well, he woke up at random times last night, and so he felt drowsy throughout the day.

He leaned on the back of the first-class seat, and drowsily took out his mobile phone to look at it. Yesterday’s big client seemed to have not woken up.

The chat between the two still stayed on the line of being spanked by “daddy”. It seemed like the big client was scared away.

Gu Wei bowed his head, typed a few words on the phone, and decided to coax the client – he still needed to get the business deal for Chi Yunkai’s sake.

[Please Give Me Money If You Love Me]: Boss, I’m busy today. After you decide which subscription package you want, just tell me, and I’ll quote you the price right away.

T.ATW is a top-class boygroup even though he and their rapper Chi Yunkai were very often scolded online. But still, there was no denying that the popularity was real. That is why Gu Wei was still befuddled on why Chi Yunkai suddenly wanted to set up a power leveling studio in such a whimsical manner.

There was no reply for a while, so it seemed like the big client still wasn’t up yet.

“Didi, what are you doing?” The assistant Mu Yue asked, “who is chatting with you this early?”

Gu Wei flipped his phone face-down then shook his head, “it’s nothing.”

The fifth episode of the variety show was recorded in a small town in Northern Europe. The town was quaint and comfortable that many people choose to come here for vacation. The director quickly released the seven guests’ mission. They would have to search for their mission-specific NPC in this small town to complete their mission by visiting the scenic spots designed for tourists.

The director confiscated the guest’s mobile phone and wallet, and did not give a map of the town. Gu Wei had no sense of direction, so he just wandered around the streets of the town. The camera crew followed him without saying a word while filming the surrounding scenery.

“Gu Wei.” A voice came from behind him, it was one of the guests of the same show, Jiang Enyuan.

Gu Wei turned around and smiled at Jiang Enyuan. He really didn’t have a sense of variety, and he didn’t like talking to strangers. So he just showed his true self, regardless of the situation.

“Do you want me to go with you?” Jiang Enyuan asked in a seemingly friendly manner, “your English is not good, it won’t be good if you go by yourself, right?”

Gu Wei looked at the cameras around him, pursed his lips and said, “no need, my English skills are sufficient.”

There was no need to think about what would happen when this episode will be broadcast. Not only would he be criticized for being a lone wolf, but he would also be scolded for being foolishly brave despite his poor education.

The matter of Gu Wei dropping out of school would be brought up again by several marketing accounts2equivalent to like allkpop or pop crave account on twitter – they put up gossip news and other rumors. There was no doubt about this.

Both Gu Wei and Jiang Enyuan were traffic stars who became popular for singing and dancing. In addition, they had an unpleasant experience before. It didn’t matter if they were melon-eating3melon-eating = gossipmonger netizens or marketing accounts, both sides of netizens love to eat this up – in fact, the crew of “Wandering Together” had put them up together in hope a spicy conflict would happen in order to bring up the ratings.

Gu Wei didn’t pay attention to Jiang Enyuan anymore, he took his camera crew and walked to the other side of the town. The scenery here was very beautiful, he didn’t want to spoil such beautiful scenery by an unpleasant encounter.

However, not long after, it started to rain. The rain was endless, and the temperature suddenly went colder. Gu Wei took out his folding umbrella from his backpack, and waved to the camera crew. He held up an umbrella for the crew to share  and found a place to hide from the rain together.

The camera was still recording. After they succeeded in taking a shelter under the eaves of a house, Gu Wei put away his umbrella.

“Seems like I’ll have to hide here for a while.” Gu Wei said to himself, “I’m sorry, my footage must be boring. I’m just making you accompany me to watch the rain under the eaves.”

Although he knew that this footage would not be broadcasted, Gu Wei still apologized very seriously.

As he spoke, he closed his umbrella.

It is said on the internet that most people will have their own particularities when closing the umbrella. They will hold the umbrella against their own abdomen when folding it up, to prevent it swinging wildly and hitting others or splashing them with rainwater.

Gu Wei was one of these people. He leaned against the door of the house, absent-mindedly folding his umbrella against his waist area.

Today’s umbrella was particularly  difficult to close. Without thinking, he took the handle of the umbrella and slammed it close to the wall behind him.

But alas, he still failed to close the umbrella. Instead of slamming it to the wall, he hit something softer than the wall. At the same time, he seemed to hear the creaking sound of the wooden door.

Gu Wei: “?”

Then the question arose, what exactly did he hit?

The cameraman stood in place with an odd look on his face, as if he wanted to laugh, but didn’t dare to laugh.

“Huh? What’s the matter?” Gu Wei turned around and froze in place.

His traditional movement of retracting the umbrella… seemed to have hit someone.

At some point, the door of the house was opened from the inside, and someone came out, just standing behind Gu Wei slightly to the side.

Gu Wei panicked. He was not short, but the person who came was taller than him. Which means… that the place he hit happened to be someone else’s…

…most important thing……

Gu Wei looked down at the folding umbrella in his hand, which was still unfolded. Still, the victim must’ve still been hit firmly.

To say it didn’t hurt would be a lie.

All men understand this thing.

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry!” Gu Wei hurriedly apologized, “I didn’t know there was someone behind.”

When he looked up, he happened to see that person’s face, and he froze in place.

Gu Wei: “Hey, aren’t you… that…”

The guy whose face was his favorite… reaction meme. The e-sport god that his groupmate worshipped on daily basis. Seemed that his name was… Jiang Xun?

Jiang Xun and his team members had just won a World Championship. They happened to come to this small town in Northern Europe for vacation. As soon as they put down their luggage in their lodging, Jiang Xun heard from his team members that there were cameramen just outside.

Jiang Xun originally planned to come out to see the situation, but he almost broke his dignity as a man4in case it wasn’t clear enough, JX was referring to his crotch for the rest of his life as soon as he opened the door. Fortunately, he reacted in time and dodged the deadly umbrella attack.

Jiang Xun caught a glimpse of the bodyguards and camera crew around him, as well as the logo on the camera, and immediately understood that this was a recording of a program.

The little star who caused the trouble had a soft voice, which sounded quite sincere. Jiang Xun was not too angry at first, and planned to let it go.

But at this moment, he saw the face of that little star—

It was Gu Wei.

The bad boy who asked him on WeChat last night whether he wanted a monthly or yearly “subscription”.

The little fan who often posted his reaction meme in his WeChat Moments.

…and the evidence that the bad boy tried to hook up with him last night was still in his mobile phone.

He stayed up all night yesterday to finish writing a small essay on ideological education for this bad boy’s “sugar daddy seeking ways” – but he didn’t send it out. Still, he remembered every word he typed, so he was ready to lecture it out loud.

Now that they coincidentally met anyway, Jiang Xun didn’t plan to not meddle with his fans’ lives. He was ready to make Gu Wei see the error of his ways.

He might not be able to properly scold him, but it’s okay to scare him a little.

“Do you know what you did wrong?” Jiang Xun asked with full interest in the younger man.

“Ah?” Gu Wei didn’t expect him to ask such a question, and when he thought of the stupid thing he did just now, his face blushed unexpectedly, “I apologize.”

Why was this reaction meme so fierce towards him?

“Just apologizing is not enough.” Jiang Xun said deliberately, “You have to know where you are wrong.”

Seeing the blush on Gu Wei’s face, Jiang Xun found himself to be more interested. Just last night, this kid was boasting about the fact that he has enough experience with around a hundred and eighty people. So why was he blushing now?

“I’m sorry.” Gu Wei answered after he thought for a while. It was indeed his fault, so he sincerely apologized, “I hurt you, it’s my fault.”

“It does hurt.” Jiang Xun said, “this little friend right here, what do you want to do about it?”

Gu Wei’s blush grew darker, “I could… er…I’ll…”

Gu Wei wanted to say that he wanted to halt the  recording and take Jiang Xun to the hospital to have a look. Hopefully, there will be no lasting damage. So in the future, this reaction meme could still make little babies reaction memes.

But instead, before he could say it, the older man lowered his head slightly, and pressed Gu Wei’s body to the wall – trapping the youth between the wall and Jiang Xun. He then whispered to Gu Wei’s ear directly, “How about… you can give me a blow5He meant blow little puffs of air over the wound, not blowjob. Though seeing it is still being done to his crotch area… yeah… to make it better.”

“You–! Y, you…” Gu Wei was caught off guard by hearing such a perverted sentence. He was scared enough that he was rendered incoherent, “Reaction memes aren’t supposed to play hooligans6an euphimism: JX is kinda sexually harassing him–!!”

It was still raining outside, but Gu Wei ran away, forgetting that he was recording a program. He even forgot to use his umbrella. The camera crew and bodyguards immediately chased after him, leaving behind a very confused Jiang Xun.

Reaction memes?

Hooligans?

What did he mean??

Didn’t yesterday Gu Wei was still calling himself “daddy” to him?

So the question is, who played the hooligan first?

There was no answer to this question yet, but—

Three days later, as soon as the trailer for the episode of “Wandering Together” was broadcast, the two of them were immediately involved together. At Weibo hot search, that is.
