Chapter 13: [Arc – Little Explorer] Chapter 12 – An unknown person is approaching!

Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds continued into the night, the sound of thunder echoed every minute, Lestari was lying near the support of the tent, she drew a boy's face in her notebook with a pencil, meanwhile Ristia was snoring loudly in her sleeping bag.
 
After she finished drawing, Lestari closed the notebook, then put it in her white coat pocket and dimmed the petrol in the tent.  Lestari closed her eyes, she tried to go to dreamland, but Lestari refused to sleep, because she realized that something was wrong outside the tent.
 
Lestari felt the presence of someone from the east.  The mysterious person's footsteps could be heard clearly in her ears even though it was blocked by the sound of raindrops.  Lestari got up from the bed and pulled Roseliet from her weapon case, she felt a great wave of power outside the tent, the shock of that force made the hairs on her neck stand up.  However, Lestari did not weaken her composure, she took a flashlight in a large bag and convinced herself to overcome any eventuality.
 
Lestari came out of the tent and stood under the onslaught of rain.  The brown haired woman shone the flashlight left and right to illuminate the surrounding area, she made sure that the mysterious person heading to her tent didn't bring any subordinates.
 
A tall and burly man emerged from behind the bushes, the man had two horns on his forehead, his eyes were fiery red, his skin was tan, his hair was jet black, and his body was tattooed.  The mysterious man looked scary, but he had a handsome face.  The man was wearing no shirt, only wearing armor, he also carried a large sword on his back and had a steel armor on his right arm.
 
After seeing the figure who came to her tent, Lestari put Roseliet back into the weapon case and greeted the horned man with a cynical look.
 
“Ascentor…. Your tracking abilities are amazing.  I didn’t think you’d show up so early.  What is your purpose here?”
 
“I want to meet my Queen.  Her life is in danger because of me.  I can’t do much in that form.  I’m the one responsible for the incident in the plateau,” replied the man called Ascentor, while lowering his head and tightly clasping his hands together.
 
“You’re late, Ristia is getting better, she’s sleeping well in this tent.  Your responsibility is meaningless now.  However, if you want to make amends, help us locate Faberi.”
 
“Looking for Faberi has been my plan since the plateau incident.”
 

Lestari was silent for a moment, before finally turning around and opening the tent, allowing Ascentor to enter the tent.  “Your Queen ears are very sensitive when she is sleeping, don’t do something silly that can make noise, she will be furious and her power will rise again.”
 
“I know…” Ascentor entered the tent and sat beside Ristia, he touched the golden haired girl’s forehead with his index finger.
 
“Her condition has improved.  However, I felt an unnatural flow of power within my Queen’s body.  Slowly his soul eroded.  Only Faberi can save her.”
 
“When I was trying to wake up Ristia who had fainted, her power in the form of blue magic appeared suddenly.  The magic was destructive and deadly, not even Roseliet could neutralize it.  Luckily, the blue magic disappeared by itself.  Ascentor, do you know what magic is?”
 
“The blue power you mean is not magic, but the essence that comes from the big explosion incident or it could be called the Big Bang. That essence is named Supremacy, a mighty power capable of destroying the universe.”
 
“The power that comes from the Big Bang incident!?  Really crazy!”  Lestari was very surprised.
 
“Yes, Supremacy itself can form another universe or multiverse.”
 
“But, why does this kid have it?”  asked Lestari, she was sweating.
 
“The heredity factor,” answered AAscentor
 
“So, descendants, huh.”

“Right.  Not only Supremacy, there are thousands of other powers residing within my Queen’s body,” Ascentor said.
 
Lestari sighed lightly, then she turned to Ristia who was wrapped in a sleeping bag, “Unbelievable.”
 
“According to the prophecy, it is my Queen who will end the war of the universe.”
 
“I don’t really believe in prophecy, but with that much power and strength, maybe Ristia can pull it off.”
 
“That is why my Queen was targeted and wanted to be exterminated.”
 
“Must be killed before all her power awakens, huh?  A reckless plan, if I were them, I would brainwash Ristia and use her power to achieve victory.”  Lestari smiled a little.
 
Ascentor frowned, “I’m not surprised, you are indeed a sly woman.”
 
“I’m not flattered, now get out of this tent and find Faberi as soon as possible!”
 
Ascentor stood up and approached Lestari, “Actually I am reluctant to carry out your orders, only my Queen is willing to order me.  However, my Queen is in your hands now, so I will obey your orders, please don’t misunderstand.”
 
“Very well.  Make sure you travel in human form so that the explorers in this tower don’t get scared.”
 
“I refuse.  Just let them be scared.”  Ascentor turned around and left the tent.
 
Lestari became sullen as she watched the horned man walk out of the tent.
 
Actually I want you to stay with us, Ascentor, you can defeat the devil worship sect with your strength and shorten our travel time, but finding Faberi’s whereabouts is also important.  Geez.  I hope to meet Ouroboros, I want to make use of its power.  Lestari thought.
 
Lestari took a pack of rations from the big bag, she opened it, then she poured a cup of warm water from the thermos into the rations.  The brown haired woman stirred the rations using a spoon, after the rations were evenly distributed, she sat near Ristia, straightened her legs, then enjoyed the delicious, highly nutritious rations leisurely.
 
Lestari turned to the right, she noticed Ristia who was still snoring while chewing the ration slowly.  Lestari stretched out her right hand which was holding the ration pack and directed it under her daughter nose.
 
“Nyam-nyam.”  Ristia was delirious from inhaling the aroma of the rations, her mouth chewing on the wind, as if she was enjoying the rations in dreamland.
 
Even though you’ve eat 8 packs of rations tonight, but you’re still thinking about food.  Our ration supplies are getting low due to your big appetite, like it or not, tomorrow we have to go to the explorer camp which is at an altitude of 305 meters to renew the food supply.  Oh my goodness, my daughter is an eater and sleeper.  Lestari thought, she smiled sweetly.
 
After finishing consuming the rations, Lestari drank mineral water, then she took a cigarette and a wooden lighter from her trouser pocket, then she lit a cigarette and enjoyed the sweet taste of nicotine.
 
Lestari exhaled cigarette smoke from her mouth, then she said to herself, “Smoking in the tent and being hit by a rainstorm ... I remember the moment with my colleagues, at that time we were smoking together in the tent and chatting in the rain, suddenly  the Kejasari troops came to attack, they were ridiculous, interrupting our leisure time was like digging their own graves.”
