Chapter 2: part 2 encounter

it was a cold foggy afternoon that day 

"why aren't we seeing any land?" asked one of the scientists in their group while staring at the sea ahead of them.

The lead archaeologist smiled and replied "I'm sure commander Decken knows better."

"how can you be so confident about this? We've been sailing towards the direction where the door is for three months now. Why hasn't there been any land? There should be some islands or something along the way. I thought we're supposed to explore the new world!" said the second scientist.

"It's not like it's our job to explore the new world. Our job is to get as much information as possible and come back before the time runs out.

a few minutes later something appeared in their radar

"what do you think that is?" another scientist inquired.

the object then slowly starts heading to the flying Dutchman and Queen Anne's Revenge.

"man your battle stations!" commander Decken shouted calmly

then a huge wooden ship appeared in the cold mist

"what the hell is that?" whispered one of the scientists to himself.

"it looks like a pirate ship! Commander, prepare yourself!" yelled another scientist.

the scientists and archaeologists began to panic as the pirate ship approached them quickly

both cruisers fixed their turrets at the approaching ship

as the ship got closer, they could see that the crew of the ship were all pirates

"aim at their masts" commander Decken said calmly

one of the crewmen started to shoot his gun at the mast of the approaching ship

the crew of the pirate ship starts to panic as their ship starts to slow down and stop moving forward

"are you serious?" one of the scientists uttered in disbelief.

"the ship is sinking, we must save the people!" said a crewman from the other side of the ship.

"Commander Decken ordered the Queen Anne's Revenge to capture the pirates for interrogation."
